Walking distance to great beaches and restaurants. The condo was well stocked, the laundry detergent, shampoo, and basic cooking supplies were appreciated! The cooler came in handy and we used the boogie boards, chairs and umbrellas daily.

We chose to bring our 3 adult children/spouses and grandchild to Maui to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Due to flight changes we needed to find a condo for 2 additional nights before our other one was available. The Chacón’s were excellent hosts. As stvr hosts ourselves we can have high expectations but we’re highly impressed. Pre arrival instructions were clear and concise. Arriving late at night was seamless. The condo was well equipped and comfortable. When we had requests or questions they were attentive and accommodating. Beach access and amenities are nearby and walkable. It was an excellent experience and we will be back.

My family and I stayed in this unit for 12 nights and we were very comfortable here. The unit itself is an absolute gem. It’s has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and is updated throughout. Brand new shower ( which was amazing) and brand new central air. We found with the central air that we only really needed to use it at night time just to cool off after being in the sun because there is such a good airflow between the front door and the back door patio. this unit is fully stocked with anything and everything you can possibly think that you were going to need. The closet was fully stocked with beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, bags for the beach, pool noodles, and there was shampoo/conditioner/sunscreen/after sun cream.
The bathrooms had everything needed for our stay and was fully stocked with toilet paper and bathroom spray and peroxide. ( which we ended up needing)
The second bedroom had everything one would need if you had little ones. We didn’t have any reason for those items but we saw that there was toys, books, and other items that can occupy a little one. We saw extra blow up mattress too.
The living room was super cozy and we all fit very comfortably, our son slept on the couch. I believe it’s a pull out but he said it was comfortable as is.
There was washer, dryer and soap which helped us since we stayed for so many nights.
The kitchen was fully stocked and even had a pineapple core tool which made it easy to eat the pineapples. Love ❤️

We were in Maui to put my father in law to rest. He was born and raised in Lahaina Maui. As my in laws lost their hoe and moved to California with us. Them we went to put some items on top of the refrigerator and only to find inches of dust. I sent a video of this. After four days the handyman comes to change the fan and says " i was contacted about this over a week ago but was busy so they knew about it. He tells us the faucet for the bathroom is in the closet and waiting for the plumber. So they also know about that not working. I took a photo of the faucet in the closet. Then to add to this, we had other family come into town staying in the same complex and one paid $60 a day less then we did and were were staying longer. The other paid $100 less a day then we did. Ironically they both were told about the pool AND were sent flowers in sympathy for the loss! If the items did not happen AND if some empathy

Home away from home in the true sense! Amazing attention to details with many amenities available- beach chairs, sun tan lotions, shampoo, conditioner and condiments in the fridge. I loved everything about this rental! This is how a rental should look! Bravos to the owners you can tell they take pride in keeping their property in great shape welcoming their guests with everything they can possibly need. My only regret is that the ac was not available in the bedroom since I get hot at night but this the ac issue seems to be an island issue. Overall great short stay and I would definitely recommend! Can’t wait to come back again.

This condo is perfectly located within walking distance of the beach, Charley Young beach is a block and a half away. Shopping at Kihei Village is a 10 minute walk along with restaurants and a grocery store. The best shaved ice hands down is located down by the rainbow mall which is approximately 4 blocks away. We liked the surfing monkey too until we discovered the other one. This condo is well equipped with beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels. They advertise boogie boards but there were none when we arrived. I notified Karen and we had some that day! Response time from owners was great. While they don’t supply the extras like shampoo, conditioner, etc. Other guest have left these items behind and more. Sunscreen and aloe to name a few. We’re a family of 5 and stayed her two weeks. The condo has a small A/C unit located in the living room. During our stay the temp never fell below 70 and ranged up to 92 but mostly high 80s. We did run the unit the whole time we were there along with all the fans in the condo and kept the curtains closed. This did keep the condo nice and cool. Also, keeping the bedroom doors open at night helped. We ate most of our meals here. They have grills in the pool area which we used frequently. Pool isn’t very big but it’s refreshing, spent several days laying by the pool. The neighborhood is quiet in general, however there is currently construction going on next door and it can be loud but didn’t really bother us. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed during May, and this was an excellent vacation apartment. The place is a bit darker than the photos portray, and the quarters are quite close, but the amenities are what drew us to this property. Umbrellas, chairs, snorkel gear are all included, and this is literally a 5 minute leisurely walk to the two different beaches. My wife, 3 kids and I had an excellent vacation here. The kitchen has plenty of dishes for preparing light meals, which helps save on money as food in Maui is ridiculously expensive. Eating out for 5 was $50-$100 per meal most times. Overall, a great stay.

Was full of toys for kids, a booster chair for the tiny babe, as well as a pack n play… we appreciated all the toiletries and the stuff for the beach. The bedrooms don’t have AC - only the main room, so it was a little warm at night in the bedrooms. I was ok, but my 11 month old sleeps hot so it was a bit rough on him. (There is fans!) We loved how close it was to everything! We’d definitely stay here again!

The unit is across from Charlie Young beach which has a great grassy area we love to watch sunset. It is very convenient access to walk to restaurants or grocery stores/shopping in Kihei. The pool was also very nice for younger children with a float toy, as it's not too deep. We didn't use the BBQ but they seemed functional. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. Only complaint was unit could do with a deeper cleaning as some dust build up around, which hosts were notified of.

We were caught in the historic Southwest Airlines system meltdown in the winter of 2022. We were stranded at our layover in San Jose CA when southwest canceled our flight to Maui. I messaged the owners to say we wouldn’t be able to make it and they were so understanding and supportive. Since we were out of pocket some substantial costs to get back home, the owners were very kind to grant us a significant refund on the accommodation cost, even though we were past the refund date. So this is not a review of the property itself, since we never made it to Maui, but more a review of the owners (who had also been responsive and welcoming through the booking process too) and their kindness and helpfulness.

We were caught in the historic Southwest Airlines system meltdown in the winter of 2022. We were stranded at our layover in San Jose CA when southwest canceled our flight to Maui. We found the place very clean and well stocked. Super easy to get to the beach, lots of shopping and good eats nearby. We did have an issue with the pull out bed, and the owners were quick to respond. We would stay here again!

Loved having a full size washer dryer in the unit to avoid taking home a bunch of laundry because who wants that!? Everything we needed was right there, pots & pans utensils laundry pods dishwasher pods EVERYTHING! This was perfect for my family of 4 (preteen & toddler approved)!! I appreciate the toys and everything too helped keep the toddler occupied too! Definitely booking again!

Close to a great beach for snorkeling (even for my 9 year old). Condo is stocked with pretty much everything you could need for a family stay. The only thing I suggest is picking up some paper plates for your stay. The dishes provides are non microwavable. Nice big washer and dryer. Dishwasher door flies open and is heavy...watch your legs :). Bedrooms are pretty warm at night, if you're a hot sleeper like me, you may want to sleep in the living room. I've found many condos on Hawaii don't have central AC, so this is very common. The cleaning lady was there when we got there, she's super sweet. Overall, good stay. Nothing fancy, but we are more practicality type people, and this definitely met our needs.

Great location close to beach and shops. Nice apartment plenty of room for family of 4 adults. Air con worked great to keep us comfortable. Only disappointed when someone else parked in our parking spot and had to park at other end of compound. All they could do was put a sticker on the window saying don’t park here. Otherwise great stay and would highly recommend this apartment.

Loved that this had 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms, not always easy to find. And price was great! Location was perfect, close to everything and across from the beach. No special view from this unit but that wasn’t a concern for us. It was spacious and comfortable for a girls trip of 3. Would definitely stay here again!

The condo is in a great location, close to the beach and walkable to grocery stores and restaurants.
We came as a family of 5 with kids ranging from 9 months to 17 years old. The condo had absolutely everything we needed including a highchair, playpen, toys, and tons of beach items, including lifejackets and a baby floating device.
Communication was great. The pool code changed twice during our stay but we messaged the owners and got a response within minutes.
The only issue we had was getting to the condo from ground level. The elevators stop on floors 1 to 4 but the condo is on floor 2.5 so we had to pull our stroller up half a flight of stairs.
Overall I would definitely recommend staying here.
