I came to Maui for a (surprise) 50th bday party of a friend who lives there. I rented the condo several months before the trip. Its cute, clean, and comfortable. I didn't give it a 5-star rating because I felt that they didn't adequately reveal that there is a construction site next door and that it is the main view from the condo. Also, I got an email about 3 weeks before the trip saying that the pool was under construction as well. Finally, a nice and appreciated touch would have been coffee... There is a pot, but no coffee and no welcoming touches that many hosts choose to provide these days. Thankfully, there is an ABC store 5 mins away (walking). The construction will likely take many more months. I would consider coming back after that is finished.

We really enjoyed having access to the pool and beach accessories (chairs, sun shade, toys). The beach is a five minute walk from the unit, and a great spot for sunsets. Of note though: When we booked, the ad showed a balcony view of a green area... this area is now a huge construction site which becomes very noisy at 6 AM on weekdays. We would have liked to be informed beforehand, because we would have probably booked another unit.

I came to Maui to take a divemaster class. The condo is well equipped, in a great location, and is well served by the split level a/c and washer/dryer. The complex was quiet and everyone with the management team was helpful. The queen bed was comfortable too. This is a great find. I would love to stay here again.

The photo is misleading, showing trees where there is now a construction site. The unit has a few upgrades and some components not of rental quality. It does have the advantage of being in the front building on 3rd floor with better views than others in Pacific Shores.

We love Kihei and have stayed there a number of times. Our favorite location is near Kamaole Beach I, and Pacific Shores is right across the street! The unit was well appointed, clean, comfortable and such a great value. As noted, there is construction next door, but we did not find it disruptive in any way. The pool and hot tub provide a great option to the beach if the surf is heavy. We were there in January and were able to watch the sunset from the lanai. Everything worked well, there was great beach equipment, and, as noted in other reviews, the main bed is on the soft side. Our daughter lives in Kihei and this unit provided a perfect home-away-from-home base for all of our outdoor activities. The unit has two parking spots which was so convenient for us in that we had a rental car, and our daughter had a spot to park as well when she stopped by. We did get a phone call the day after we arrived to make sure all was in order. That is a sign of great service. Thank you Jeremy!

We have stayed many times in this complex and unit itself. It is exactly as listed and great for a small family - especially with younger children. The location is fantastic; close to parks, restaurants, stores and our favourite beach on Maui - Charlie Young. The unit itself was clean, had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and good water pressure! Having laundry in the room is an added bonus. Lots of towels and extra bedding are provided.
Our complaints are minor - the pool area is showing age and needs some repairs (this is beyond the control of the unit owner!) The deck paint is bubbling and peeling and feels gross to walk on. They now have a pool security guard in the evenings and they take their job very seriously- no pool toys or floaties allowed at all.
We were surprised to see the once empty tree filled lot next door has major construction going on. It was never really bothersome, but sometimes the construction started very early in the morning (as early as 5 am for cement pouring).
Lastly, two of the beach chairs have broken straps making it difficult to trek down the short distance to the beach. And the bin containing beach toys and main closet could use a clean out and some organizing as many things are broken etc. But these are small complaints.
We would recommend this place to friends and family!

In the end, it did not have any negative impact on our stay.

We appreciated staying in this condo, which had everything we needed, from beach towels and chairs to a cooler you can take to the beach and little lantern flashlights you could use for the sunset at Haleakala. The bed was soft, which I liked, but my husband would have preferred a firmer mattress, so heads up if that’s important to you. This condo may not be posh, but it is comfortable (with air conditioning!), fairly priced, a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach, and is very well equipped. Perfect if you’re using it as a hop off place for your Maui adventures. We would stay here again.

This is the nicest, affordable place on the island! This was the perfect place for me, my husband, and our 6 month old. So many details that made our stay great: beach gear available (chairs, umbrella, snorkel), strong A/C, elevator is right next to unit, convenient parking spots, blackout curtains, in-unit washer & dryer, and more! Most importantly, short walking distance to stunning beaches and amazing food/shops. Definitely recommend!

The property and condo were absolutely wonderful and we would certainly go back. We just had a few things that detracted from it being 5 stars. There was construction right next door opposite our condo and lanai. It would start at 8 every morning from Mon-Fri and was quite loud when we would be having breakfast at the condo. The WIFI wasn't working and a property rep had to come by and the following day a Spectrum rep had to come to replace the box as it was beyond repair. This was an inconvenience during our first 2 days. As we were checking out we tried to contact a property rep as it says on the notice to say we were leaving and we couldn't get a hold of anyone through multiple ways and their voicemail box was full. These issues would likely not ever happen again but we were unlucky in having all of them occur during our particular stay.

Condo was well stocked to go to the beach. The location was excellent for all amenities. Charlie Young Beach became our favorite beach in the island! My son and I swam with the sea turtles every day, even saw a huge manta ray too :) A rental angency, Sunny Maui Vacations we worked with was very welcoming and accommodating! When we return to the island we’ll be booking with them again. Thank you!

We had a fabulous month in Maui staying in Jeremy's condo. The condo has everything you could need! Beach gear - four beach chairs, umbrella, two extra canvas "camping chairs" (in case you find the regular ones too low), multiple cool boxes of different sizes, ice packs, many beach towels, some toys, even some snorkeling gear which was left by previous renters. The condo is compact but worked very well for my husband and I. Kitchen is equipped with all cooking utensils and containers you could wish for and there was salt and pepper in the cupboard. Washer and dryer and dishwasher work very well. The Lanai looks over the parking lot and is small, but the chairs are comfortable and there are lovely palm trees to look at. The property management company helped us work out the TV operation and were apologetic and prompt to fix the problem when we contacted them about the blocked bathroom sink on the first day. Fabulous air conditioning! We loved not having to worry about keys - the coded lock was very convenient! Location is perfect - we found a lovely walking path in Cove Park on the second day and went for daily walks right next to the ocean; access to the beach is about a block away with a controlled pedestrian crossing; close proximity to shops, convenience store and restaurants (within a block or two). Pool was clean, had bathrooms, bar-b-qs and had many options for sun or shade. Great home base, and the icing on the cake was that Jeremy graciously let us stay late on check-out day because we had a late flight! So wonderful because it gave us an extra day to enjoy the beach! Nice condo in a great location, within walking distance to my favorite breakfast spot (Kihei Caffe) and right across the street from the beach. The A/C was definitely appreciated, as it was still in the high 80s during the day and humid. It was also great to have in unit laundry, as we were staying on the west side of the island the rest of our trip and it was nice to be able to wash some items.
A small hiccup with there not being any beach towels in the unit, but a quick call to the management company and they dropped some brand new ones off the next morning.
The literature in the condo and welcome letter we received needs to be updated. While the email we received said check in was at 4pm, the welcome letter and the booklet inside the unit both say check-in time is 3pm (also the instructions on how to lock the door are incorrect). We did show up at 3 and saw the cleaner was still at the apartment, so we ended up heading to the grocery store for a bit, so not a big deal

This place was right across the street from a beautiful beach with sea turtles and very clean. The condo needed a bit of updating but everything worked well and it was well stocked with everything you would need. I loved that they had snorkel gear, coolers, 4 beach chairs & umbrella and 4 beach towels. Bed was comfortable. The condo was located conveniently right off the elevator. The balcony was small but it was nice to sit out there in the morning. Air conditioner worked well. They also had a couple fans to circulate air. Would definitely stay here again.

So my family stayed in this unit in Maui and the condo was perfect for our needs. The check-in/check-out process was clearly spelled out which was nice. The condo had coolers, beach chairs and a beach umbrella which was nice. We did have one issue with the pool code not working so we were not able to use the pool one evening but that was resolved the next day. Overall the condo was clean and a good location. I would definitely recommend this unit!

This condo was perfect for our small family. Nothing fancy, lower cost and nicely furnished and supplied. Only glitches were figuring out how to lock the door and a slow bathroom sink drain. Both issues were resolved quickly. Might be helpful to streamline the TV options as it was kind of confusing.

Kihei is nice and sort of inexpensive, with everything being a close drive. The beaches are great, and there are plenty of them. I did try to call the property manager at first because I didn't see the bedspread on the hideaway couch bed. I never got a response, but it was fine, bedspread was there.
They try hard, it looks like. Rather cookie-cutter condo, but you won't be staying indoors that much!

The listing description was accurate, the condo was clean they provides daily up keep. The location does provide a beach and mountain view. The amenities everything was provided such as a washer & dryer stacker fridge, stove etc. The customer service was great they provided you via email of daily events happenings around the Island. I would recommend for family & friends. Our favorite attraction was exploring the Island. Mahalo, Jeremy Baker!

We stayed at this property for one week in October of 2017. The unit is well stocked with kitchen utensils, beach chairs, towels, etc. The bed and couch were both comfortable, and the unit was clean upon arrival. This is a good location to launch to multiple areas of the island - and only a quick walk across the street to access a beach. Food stores, restaurants (try Miso Phat Sushi!), and coffee shops were just a short car ride away. We would stay at the unit again, and would recommend it to others. While the balcony looks over the parking lot, we found that we were often out of the condo early and this didn't bother us. We didn't go to the pool but saw people there, and it looked nice from a distance.
Note that only one small bar of hotel soap and small hotel bottles of shampoo and conditioner are provided in the unit bathroom, so you will need to go shopping soon into your trip to buy soap and shampoo/conditioner if you don't pack any. The unit only has fans and one small window ac unit, all of which are off when you arrive, so it takes a while to cool down. We found this wasn't an issue once we got the unit cooled down after arriving. Also, the guest book specifies not to leave towels over the balcony railing to dry, but note that we got reprimanded by the Condo Association for drying our towels over the chairs (not the railing).
It would be great to see the unit owners add a recycling bin in the unit - there is a recycling bin on site by the trash, but it was hard to separate without a separate place to put plastic bottles. It would also be nice if they could provide a bar of soap for the shower as well - one small bar of hotel soap gets soggy and used up quickly!
In summary, thank you for a lovely experience, and we look forward to returning in the future!

We stayed in this condo from September 3rd until September 17th. Jeremy was very responsive and the information he gave us was always spot on. This condo was perfect and was right across Kamaole Beach 1. Moreover, the resort had a pool that was very nice and clean.
Finally, we had to request a late check-out due to the time of our return flight. Jeremy accepted without charging us an extra dollar.
I would recommend this condo to anyone.

The condo is in a perfect lication. The beach is across the street, groceries, restaurants are nearby! Jeremy (owner) kept the condo super clean and fully equipped. Beach chairs and umbrella was huge plus!! The property management was excellent. Concierge service was available at all times. Absolutely wonderful stay. Highly recommend this condo.

My wife and I spent the bulk of our 25th anniversary here and really enjoyed it. The condo was convenient to the beach (very short walk) and many snorkel and sightseeing locations on Maui. The chairs/cooler/umbrella left for our use were very convenient and appreciated. The owner and the property manager were easy to work with and always helpful when needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo is very clean and well-stocked with everything that we could need: beach chairs, umbrella, cooler bag, travel coffee mugs, even a first aid kit in the bathroom. The pool area and hot tub are very nice too. You do have to walk about five minutes to get beach access, but it is worth it. We really liked the homey feel of this place and would definitely come again.

It's very nice place to stay, perfect for my family which is group of four. You have everything you need from Beach umbrella, chair, boogie board, lots of beach toys and even cooler. We love the kitchen as well because has a complete kitchen utensils and containers to go in case you need to do picknick. Very accessible to a nice beaches, restaurants and stores. The bed needed a new cover sheet though.

My wife and I had such an amazing honeymoon and one of the reasons why is because of this place! We had an amazing time, and Pacific Shores offered us everything we needed to get started and have a great time! We will be back without a doubt!
