We lost internet early on the last night and was not sure if it was cut off bc we were checking out or if it was just out. If it was bc we were checking out, I recommend turning it off at 11am check out time. That was our only issue/concern.

Cozy, 1 room place that fit me and my wife well. Any more than that might be crowded. Getting the tv going sometimes took a restart of the system, and is fairly small. I realize we’re in paradise but at night we like to watch movies or shows. Other than that the place is great, right across the street from the beach and walking distance to almost any food source or shopping. We’ll more than likely consider this place next time!! Thanks!!

We had a great experience with this condo. It has all you need around you and within walking distance. Eateries, groceries, bars and lots and lots of shopping! And best of all the beach with magnificent sunsets! Hosts were great with communication and getting back to you quickly! We’ll definitely be back!

The property was very clean. The carpet looked new. There was more then enough towels, cleaning supplies and kitchen items in the condo them we could ever use. Having the ocean across the street was amazing. The unit was quiet, the AC was only in the living area not the bedroom. It kept the living area cool. The parking was easy and the condo was close to lots of shopping. Want to stay there again.

If you are visiting Maui to explore the island, versus just one resort town, then you couldn't find a better place to stay. The condo was convenient to the South Maui beaches, one was 50 yards away. And you could quickly get on the Pi'ilani Highway which will take you to the rest of the island. Kihei is the ideal location for a Maui because it is more of a community than the resorts. As a result there are real grocery stores and restaurants within a mile or two. The condo had everything you could need already provided, including beach umbrellas and chairs. The kitchen was fully furnished and looked to have been recently remodeled. This particular unit will be our first choice on future Maui trips.

We spent 10 days in this unit and were so happy with all of the little details like extra outlets for charging our devices, deep bowls for making poke bowls, and plastic containers for storing our leftovers.
We stayed on the sofabed and I was surprised how comfortable it was. I have sciatica pain and was not uncomfortable in any way sleeping on it. We left the bedroom to our son and his grandma. They were comfortable and happy.
The space is actually bigger in person than it seems in the photos. And I particularly loved that the lanai was right in front of parking area so unloading groceries and equipment in was a breeze as we parked right in front.
Also, less than 2min walk to ocean (and the best swimming beach in my opinion).

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was unbelievable being inbetween the strip mall with lots of shops, coconuts tacos and cafe ole and freds mexican restauraunt and moose mcgillycuddys pub. I also saw a lineup at the cinnamon shop daily (they made a great chai latte). Not to mention that kamole beach 2 and 3 were a 1 and 5min walk away and both beaches had lifeguards. Everything was within walking distance to say the least.
There were plenty of chairs, boogie boards, a pool noodle, small life jacket and umbrella.
The view from the room was very nice and we enjoyed how there were roosters everywhere in kihei including our daily visitor which we named rusty. They have updated the couch from the pictures and the hideabed was quite comfortable. The air conditioner worked wonders and once we learned to position a fan in the hallway to blow the cold air from the air conditioner into the bedroom (closed the bathroom door) and then raised the fan in the bedroom to blow towards the bed while closing the windows and blinds in the bedroom we were able to sleep in the bedroom.
The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and hope to be back someday with my family!!!!

It's nice to be steps from the beach, good location to walk to restaurants. Only real downside is that there aren't comfortable chairs to relax on the lanai (just bar top chairs) and it doesn't face the ocean.

When we booked the apartment, we didn't know what to expect. The apartment not only met, but also exceeded our expectations. We are very pleasantly surprised how everything worked from the reservation itself, check in, check out, the location of the apartment. Kit and Janet also offer several things for recreation within the apartment itself, such as a swimming pool, beach chairs, surfboards, umbrellas and more. The apartment is well equipped and very neat and clean. Follow the instructions you will receive when entering the apartment, as it would be a shame to damage the apartment. It’s a shame that the ratings only go up to 5 stars, because they definitely deserve more. All recommendations!

My daughter and I loved this property. It was close to the beach and we saw a turtle at the beach on the first day. The bed was comfortable and the property was clean. We loved the pulled pork at the Coconuts and I would also recommend the South Maui Fish company (only fresh fish). We went up to Lahaina, up to Haleakala and over to Hana, but enjoyed coming back to chill on the beach. I would stay here again.

Overall I give this condo 5 stars and recommend. Location is key. Right across the street from beach that is good for swimming and great for sunset. Several good dinner options a short walk. Easy and central access to drive to other parts of the island. Condo itself was comfortable. This complex is certainly not luxury and a bit older, but I felt the price reflects that and it was the location which was most important to us. Condo also had all basic supplies which was helpful. WiFi was good. Cable was limited and smart TV would have been nice for streaming…we had one rain day and getting onto Netflix would have been nice although that was not our priority in Maui! But overall very happy and I recommend with. 5-star. Thanks!

KKN is the perfect location right across the street from Kamaole 2. It has a very large pool, never crowded even when busy. The condo has been well maintained. We have stayed in this unit twice and hope to return soon!

My condo was incredibly comfortable and perfect for my visit, so relaxing. There was nothing missing which made my comfort complete. With no reflection on the owners, the coffee pot and dishes were not cleaned properly and all had to be rewashed. I had to delay my arrival by one day but the office had not been notified so it caused some stress when I tried to check in but the office manager was wonderful, offering respite from the heat and eventually put everything together so I could properly check in as soon as possible. The staff go out of their way to make sure that the guests are well taken care of and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful.

This condo was a great location and had everything we needed. Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, cooler…everything for the beach. Super clean. Ground floor was a plus. Right across the street from nice beaches. You can easily walk to all types of restaurants. Quiet area too at night so easy to sleep.

We very much enjoyed staying at this condo. It was right across from the beach & near restaurants. It was clean & well stocked in the kitchen & for the beach. Our only complaints were that the bedroom was warm at night despite the fan & mobile AC unit. And our cable/internet went out the last 2 days. The owner was very responsive about this & I realize these things happen sometimes. So overall it was a great place & I would recommend it!!

We went on vacation for two weeks and stayed here at this location that we couldn’t find a single thing wrong with. We were literally seconds from one of the best beaches and a decent distance away from the activities we did. There were never any issues with parking and it was so convenient, the walk to the car from the front door was unexpectedly short and really great when carrying groceries. We can’t recommend this place enough and hope to stay again in the future!

This stay was in my opinión one of the reasons that this type of service exists. The home had a great location across the street from the beach, the area was nice with very quiet evenings. The area was one of the nicer areas of the island, down the street from the large resorts in Wailea. The home came with everything needed for a stay, beach chairs, umbrellas, laundry supplies, condiments, essentially you do not need to bring a bunch of stuff due to the preparedness of the host. I definitely recommend the stay, the only thing I would of done different was book here longer!

Communication through the VRBO app was great and the check-in process was super easy. Plenty of parking just off the patio, which is less than a minute walk to the beach. The unit had everything we needed, including beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, etc. We also used the community grills to cook some mahi mahi that we caught on our trip. My husband and I stayed at the condo for more than a week. It was a spacious one bedroom apartment, very clean and well stocked with kitchen appliances, cleaning supplies, etc. The hosts were easy to contact and check-in and check-out processes were very easy. The condo is near all the recommended spots in Kihei. A very walkable town and short drive to lots of shops and restaurants. Our favorite part of the trip was ending the day watching the sunset by the beach right across the street. The beach is spacious and usually not crowded - definitely one of our favorite beaches on the island!

This was a great place for us to stay. We had a funeral on the island and this opened up last minute. The condo is so close to the beach. It was beautiful, clean, and check in/out was a breeze. Try the Acai bowls just down the street at the coffee shop, so good.

This property located right across the beach and very easy to access the stores and eatery. I like how clean and easy access to restaurants, beach and shops. This place has everything you need including beach towels, folded chairs, surf boards and snorkeling gears although we did not use them because we brought our own. But it is very nice to have them handy. The hosts are friendly and reply in timely manner too. We enjoyed our stay here. Hope we come back one day. Thank you.
