This condo was wonderful. Just the right size! Close to the pool, hot tub, and bbqs but back from the main road. Beach was across the road and you never had to wait long for a break in the traffic to cross. Wonderful beach, not busy, AND, large green sea turtles came up every night to sleep on the beach. They would leave at different times of the morning to go back to sea.
This place is in a perfect place for easy access to all parts of the Island, close to grocery stores, restaurants, shops. Would definitely stay again if/when I go back.

Everything was as promised. Great location near many things, but not right in the middle of it, making it a lovely, quiet place to settle in. The place was spacious and clean, and we were impressed with all the things available for our use, such as towels and beach supplies. The only thing I would suggest is not having guests turn the ac off at checkout, as when we arrived for check in it was very warm and took a full 24 hrs to get it cooled down enough for our comfort, especially back in the bedroom. But once it did reach the temp we wanted, it was great. Thank you for a great stay!

I had the pleasure of renting this beautiful condo when the fires began. I was notified at midnight via text that some of the surrounding area were evacuating and to keep an eye on local websites to see if they told my area to evacuate. Needless to say I may have easily missed this text and I was definitely up all night scared to death to fall asleep as I needed to follow those sites. I know it was extenuating circumstances. I just would hope that in the future there’s some additional ways to notify people in case of emergency. Thankfully we were safe and the trip overall was wonderful. I hope you use the condo to shelter some of the displaced Maui people. Thank you.

We rented this condo for our three adult children while we rented another one in the complex. HUGE difference and disappointment from the condo we rented (which was great). The pullout couch was terrible. The one air conditioner in the living room does not cool the back bedroom at all. Overall dingy, dated and dirty.
Postives: small, quiet complex, nice pool/hot tub, and easy access to beach across the street. Snorkels, towels, chairs, cooler provided.

The Condo was very nice and in a good location. It was a great size and it was nice to have a full kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit. The unit only has a window A/C and it is located in the living room. The living room, kitchen and bathroom were cool, but we had a hard time getting the cold air back into the bedroom. It wasn't so warm that we couldn't sleep, but it was definitely warm in the bedroom. We enjoyed the fact that there were beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and snorkels there for our use. We did have to drive to the beach, restaurants and market, but it was a short drive. I would recommend this unit for sure!

The unit was perfect for our 9-night stay in Kihei. The location is great as it's close to lots of amenities, directly across the street from the beach, but far enough away from feeling like you're in the middle of the crowds. The complex is quiet and the pool and grounds are well kept. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We'll be back!

We love staying at the Kihei Bay Vista! It’s location in Kihei makes it central to everywhere we go on the island. The complex is quiet and laid back, with a nice pool and hot tub. The unit was clean and had everything we needed.

It had a lot of things we were glad to have, including: dishes, cleaning supplies, washer, dryer, dishwasher, pots, pans, lawn chairs, a cooler, etc.
It was almost like home. The outside is plush with beautiful foliage. It just needs an air unit in the bedroom and new beds. That bed was awful. My fiance was in pain from sleeping in that forsaken bed. Other than that, all was decent enough.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kihei Bay Vistas
Our only complaint was the mattress that left us sore each morning. (That said, the property owner ensured us that they would be replacing the mattress ASAP following our stay)
Location was perfect, we walked across the road each evening to take in a gorgeous sunset and every morning to snorkel with a large group of sea turtles that make their way to the buffet of algae growing on the rock wall.
I would highly recommend this property to both the seasoned traveler and first time adventurers.

The location was great! It was our first time to Maui, so we weren't sure where we should stay. Kihei ended up being perfect because we felt central to all the activity we did around the island. We drove to West Maui, did the road to Hana, and we're at beaches all over South Maui and the driving time was reasonable for all of those locations. The condo was nicely stocked and we especially appreciated the many Tupperware containers that we used to pack our lunches each day. It was awesome to have snorkels and masks, beach chairs, and towels, too! We enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely book again. Mahalo!

We stayed in Kehei and found it quite convenient to many locations. We spent a day on the road to Hana, a day at Big Beach, a day at Molikini Crater and Kaanapali, a day at Haleakala and Kehei beaches, and a day at Lahaina. We felt like we really got a feel for the island from our central location.

We enjoyed our stay despite the unexpected flash flood (worst Maui had seen in decades). It was an adventure but still great. This is not a place I would rent if I wanted to spend much time inside. But if you’re going to Maui you probably don’t. The mattress is not very comfortable and you can feel the metal springs. Shower is redone and nice. Bummed the dryer didn’t work. Kind of makes the ability to do laundry useless…with the humidity in Maui even hanging your clothes didn’t dry them.

Finally got to come see my son. Overall the property was nice. I love the use of keypads they use. So much easier than keys. The most annoying thing was an alarm clock in the bedroom that was impossible to cancel and would go off in the evening and morning.

We had a wonderful stay in this nice, well kept condo unit. Overall the unit had everything we needed for our 6nt vacation. Aside from the refrigerator, we really didn't use the kitchen. Bathroom was spacious with just enough towels and toilet paper. We did have a hard time figuring out the clothes dryer because it always goes into "damp dry" mode which didn't dry the clothes completely. The sofa bed worked well for our 2 kids. Bedroom had more enough space and storage. Ceiling fan, extra standing fan, and living room AC unit helped keep the unit cool. Unit is just steps away from the pool which was a plus! Overall area was quiet and parking was always available. Close to all locations for activities, restaurants, and shopping.

We (older adult couple) stayed in the complex 10 days right before Christmas. Overall quite happy with our experience. Very, very clean, bright and airy when we arrived. Not enough dinner plates (?!), otherwise well equipped, including towels, beach chairs and cooler we used every day. Not much of an ocean view and you kind of look across into neighbour's lanai, but there was no-one there so it wasn’t a problem. A lovely sunset beach and turtle sanctuary across the road. Ample parking. Quiet and apart from the busy part of Kihei, but easy driving to amenities. It is a small complex and was not very full – we did find generally that the “residents” were not very fond of the “renters” (eg the owner in the condo below us told me he could hear every time we moved a chair; another owner dominated the hot tub every night and complained about renters’ use of the BBQ’s – which are there for everyone’s use). We needed to contact the maintenance about a couple of small repair issues (broken doorknob and sink stopper) - they responded quickly but did not resolve them completely. That said, it was overall a very pleasant unit to stay in, and we got it at a great price. I would recommend it with the above caveats - my only hesitation about returning would be around the chilly reception from some (not all!) of the residents.
