We Ioved the condo! Two bedrooms, two bathroom, it was 4 of us( two couples)- was perfect. Living room and kitchen was very nicely organised and we had everything we needed to cook and to have proper meals. View was gorgeous, second floor facing ocean. AC helped a lot, we were using it pretty often.

This unit has an amazing view of the ocean from the main Lani. Can’t stress that enough. The unit itself is as good as you are going to get in this price range. Sure, a few updates could be done, but there isn’t a thing wrong with it. It is comfortable and clean.

I give David (host) alone 5 stars and then an additional 5 stars for the stay. David was so informative, helpful and polite. The condo was so much better in person. It had everything we needed. After arriving and unpacking we felt like we were at home. The location is perfect on the island. I would recommend anyone wanting to stay in Kihei to stay here and have the best time of their life. I've been going to Maui for 30 years and often reserve properties for my families and others accompanying us. There's a lot of pressure with that but in the case of this property it was an absolute pleasure to reserve and visit. Immediately after getting on our flight we learned that our connecting flight was cancelled. When I contacted the owner to inform him of our delayed arrival he was understanding, gracious, and genuinely concerned. That's all too unusual anymore. When we arrived the unit was exactly as advertised, something that isn't always the case. This is a great resort property in general in a great location a bit outside of the most congested part of Kihei as well but with excellent beach and road access. In short, when I make plans to return next year it's great to know that if I can reserve this unit again it'll be one less thing to worry about and they stay will be great.

Very nice experience. Easy checking in and out. Good app and info for complex. Good options available for help whether from owner or complex management. Easy to get to and off the main road enough that it is quiet. View is great. Must be ok and ready for the open loft/bed room. Sound travels up and down very easily with everyone in the unit. Overall nice experience and would recommend.

I found this spot after hours of searching with my sister. I liked that it had a view of the ocean, 2 pools, and enough room for my sister, my friend, and myself (2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms).
I reached out to David ahead of time to get early check in and he requested that for me- eventually we were able to secure that. We were provided all the information we needed for check in ahead time and I liked that there were no keys, having a code for us all to access the unit made it easy.
The space was cute and clean and a great location close to beaches and shopping. And sunsets every night. The staff was helpful and reached out to check in on us as did David to see if we needed anything.
We had to buy little things like coffee, tea, dish soap, butter, shampoo, etc and it could use more cozy throw blankets, but those are all more personal preference so I totally get that.
It was also stocked with beach towels, which was very helpful.
I'm so glad I found this gem, now I have somewhere I trust for the next trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo & had a great experience during booking, before arrival and during our stay. The condo was immaculate, spacious, just as pictured and part of a beautiful complex with views of the West Maui mountains, ocean and Haleakala. Wow! We were within walking distance to restaurants and shopping and close driving distance to some of the best beaches on the island as well as nice grocery stores. David was very responsive to any questions we had and we were especially pleased that the condo had beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear and a beach umbrella available for use. That saved us from packing towels and the expense of renting the other. A great perk! The condo complex also had multiple pools that were free to use as well as designated parking for each unit and grills for cooking. The landscaping was immaculate and the grounds were beautiful. We would definitely return to the property and unit again.

We have stayed at Maui Kamaole a couple times before and keep coming back because of the excellent location, beautiful grounds and peaceful environment. Our host, David, was excellent and checked in with us upon arrival and departure to make sure we had everything we needed. The condo was cozy while still being spacious for me and my husband and two daughters. We were so appreciative of all the beach gear that was there. The pool was literally a thirty second walk and came in handy when my girls needed a break from the larger afternoon waves. I am a light sleeper and one of many reasons I booked this place is because you don't hear anything on either side of the walls. A place to rest and rejuvenate. Thank you, David, for sharing your place with us. It was just what we were hoping for.

Our family of 4 stayed for 8 nights at J218 in May. We enjoyed our time.
To start with, the unit was very clean and spacious. 2 floors, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths. Dining table, living area, kitchen, laundry. It was comfortable and exactly as the pictures showed.
The house was well stocked, good quality china ware, utensils, cooler, beach chairs, etc, which made things easy and convenient for us.
Having breakfast early in the morning on the balcony, enjoying the ocean view was something I will not forget. The community also has a well maintained pretty landscape. Although we didn't spend a lot of time in the community itself, coming in and out daily always gave us a pleasant experience.
This was our first time in Maui. We definitely felt we chose the right location. It was easy to get to so many great restaurants, beaches, and stores. Kihei is also a good base that makes going to West Maui, Kahului, North Shore, Up Country, Road to Hana, and of course South Maui easier.
The check-in, check-out process was smooth. Contacted Maui Condo management company a couple of times to clarify the check-in instructions.
If we visit Maui again in the future, we will not hesitate to stay at this property again!

This is the best location to stay in Maui. This condo is a 4 min 22 second walk to a beautiful beach. It’s a 2 mile drive from the hotels. The condo is perfect. The patio has the best views. I stay at a lot of VRBO’s. Often the pics are better than the property in person. On this property, the actual property is more beautiful than the pictures. Wait til you see a sunset from your patio. Can’t wait to come back and stay at this exact same property. Not to mention this condo is 1/4 the cost of hotels in the area.

J218 is conveniently located across from the Marina in Kihei and far enough off of South Kihei road to be peaceful with a good view of the ocean. With parking right outside your door and a short stroll to the pool and barbecues this is a very comfortable condo. Thank you!

We were very pleased with our stay. The unit was perfect for a family of 4. We took advantage of the pool, tennis courts and fun closet (with boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, etc.), and enjoyed the ability to walk to one of the nicest beaches in South Kihei. The kitchen had everything we needed and the furnishings were very comfortable. We appreciated the owner's helpful responses to our questions. Would stay there again.

Everything was better than we could have imagined. Beautiful location, extremely well stocked unit, and spotless clean. What a perfect place to call home for 10 days. No complaints. Beautiful pool area, easy walk to local beach area and shops and restaurants, and short drive to explore different beaches and attractions. Can't say enough about the view from the lanai.

This is a beautiful location with views of the ocean, neighboring islands and of the lush mountains as well. The owner has decorated the Condo with very nice high quality furnishings and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. We loved the location in Kihei, a nice quiet area with fantastic beaches within minutes. There are plenty of restaurants and shops and convenient to all of Maui. What a wonderful place to spend your vacation! The condo is so well appointed, everything is provided to make you welcome. The view from the terrace is PERFECT! We spent so many hours enjoying the outside…morning coffee, afternoon cocktails & dinner on the terrace looking at THAT VIEW…priceless!
The condo grounds are beautifully maintained, the location is quiet and the pools & spa are lush and just a short walk…morning dips in the pool before heading out for daily adventures; then, evening splash after time at the beach…so much fun.
The location of the condo is so convenient for all Maui has to offer. There are three beautiful beaches just minutes from the location. We enjoyed so much of the island every day of our 2 week stay.

Everything was amazing, the only thing I could try to complain about was I thought we would be closer to Kihei road, but that feeling goes away after you step on the lanai and see the beautiful view of the ocean. Overall it was a great stay and I can’t wait to do it again.

First, I must say the owner of this rental property wants you to enjoy your stay. He made himself accessible. To make our stay more enjoyable he recommended many wonderful restaurants, activities. and shopping.
My friend and I took the trip to Maui. This condo has a spacious upstairs loft with lanai and a second bedroom downstairs with its own lanai. We loved this layout for we each felt we had our private area for relaxing. Kitchen is stocked with every item you can dream of needing and there is a washer and dryer.
A third lanai off the living room with a beautiful view.
We were not into very long walks so having a car was necessary for us from this location. A convenient assigned parking space right outside of the unit. We found everything so convenient.

This is our second stay in the Maui Kamaole complex; our first in this unit. The location is excellent: great ocean view, quiet 2nd story spot, and comfortable accommodations. We stayed there with our family of 5. Find some Pau vodka and ice, sit on the lanai, and feel your body melt into the moment.
The location in Kihei is ideal. You are across the street from Kama III beach; a better sunset spot is hard to find. Locals and tourists gather on the big lawn above the beach each evening to simply take in the beauty as the sun sets over the ocean. You are minutes away from all the life-sustaining shopping and restaurants you will ever need. Some very good snorkeling is quite nearby. If I could swing it, we would still be there, begging a long term stay. The best surfing is not in Kihei, but on the road to Lahaina. Still, that is pretty close, maybe 20 mins. Just walking across the street to the beach in the morning and jumping into the water for a swim before breakfast . . . we saw turtles out there every morning, feeding in the rocks very near the shore.

Wow! Could we have picked a better spot on the island? No way!
This lovely condo is so well situated for a walk to dining and the beach, but not too close to feel all the hubbub.
We spent more time "at home" enjoying the pool and the beautiful sunsets. I was inexplicably drawn to the tidy and well-appointed lanai for beautiful sunsets and views of nearby islands and beyond.
The condo had everything we needed and we loved the little touches. The kitchen was well-equipped, so we saved time and money on dining out.
The living area and bedrooms were cozy.
This place has absolutely everything you need and the warm touches to make you feel at home. Highly recommended.
One note. If you're deciding where to base yourself in Maui, Kihei is it...don't go up north, too many tourist traps and mosquitoes.

We love staying at this lovely condo! The views are perfect, its a view of the land,ocean, and distant islands. No sunset viewed from the deck is alike. Short walk down the hill to the beach for a day in the sun and a night enjoying that sunset.
The grounds are so well kept, the pools are perfect to cool off in.
Davids condo is located close to Wailea for that tourist feel (shopping, food etc) but out of the hustle and bustle of hotels for the "island life." Everything on the island is a short commute to explore.
This was our third time to Maui in three years at Maui Kamaole and second stay at this exact condo. I love how quick David is to respond to my E-Mail inquiries. His condo is nicely stocked with all the bells and whistles. Lots of room for multiple guests if needed.
I recommend this unit and development to all of my Family and Friends. So far we have introduced three new families/friends to it and they love it just as much as we do!

We stayed in this great condo at the end of Sept, beginning of Oct. There were 4 of us and there was plenty of room for all! The location to the pool was perfect, just steps away. Parking was great being that it was directly outside the unit and the view was incredible.
Everything we needed was provided. From towels to beach chairs and umbrellas. Breakfast at the Keihi Cafe was great and dinner at Rudy Tuesdays was a hit as well. We did lots of cooking in the suite which saved lots of $$ although keep in mind that groceries are a bit pricey there. Hit Costco first when you get off the plane, it's minutes from the airport. All in all a great location and a great vacation.

We had an absolutely amazing Maui vacation and the reason being was our gorgeous and spacious Maui Kamaole condo. The panoramic ocean and island views were breathtaking. we had fun at the beautiful tropical pool and soothed our muscles in the spa hot tub! What a trip! Great sightseeing of the northern part of the island was spectacular...cool blow hole! Shpoping at the shops of Wailea was fabulous! Thank to Maui Kamaole J218 for a trip of a lifetime!

unit was nice but needed a really good cleaning (ie bathroom shelves, top and sides of fridge, etc). Bathrooms were great! Lots of room to set out toiletries, etc. Good location; easy walk into "town". We loved the natural pool! It was so close by and very relaxing.
Had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to rent this unit again.

We always prefer to come to south Kihei area and usually end up at the Maui Kamaole. On this trip we needed a two bedroom condo and we were not disappointed in staying at David's place. Everything you need (stores, beaches, sunsets, etc.) is within easy walking distance. We were pleased to find that the view from the lanai is even better then the pictures show. If you are looking for a nice affordable condo with that "Hawaii" feel this is it!

We were fortunate to have a 10 day stay at this lovely condo. You should note that the ocean view picture is a pale imitation of the real thing. Every night at sunset, you can hear a call from someone blowing good night on a shell from nearby, or you can go just a bit down the road to nearby Kalepolepo Beach (not as close as the Kamole beach, but not many people seem to go there) to watch the sunset.
There are grills nearby, and the the upper pool and hot tub is a great setting.
Very relaxing time. Glad we went. Next time we go to Maui, we'll surely strongly consider returning to this unit.

I stayed here with my family just last month. We stayed for 9 days and the weather was perfect during our stay even though it is not considered high season. I really liked that the pictures on this listing accurately portray the property. We were so pleased to have full use of a kitchen that had condiments we can use, plenty of dishes, glassware, silverware, and pots/pans. The condo is comfortable, with plenty of room for a family of our size: 2 (mom and dad) and 4 kids. The teenage girls shared the other bedroom and the younger boys slept on the sofa bed and pull out bed. Everyone was pleased with the amount of space we had. The property that this condo sits on is really well maintained, and the kids loved the night swimming at 2 available pools that guests can use. We met other families during our stay and everyone was so friendly and kind. We had no issues with disturbance or noise. It was great to be so close to the beach, literally walking distance...and there was more than enough beach gear for us all to use, which is such a plus when you have kids that want to stay out on the beach all day. We enjoyed our stay so much, we are SURE to stay here again. You will not be disappointed to choose this condo as home during your Maui vacation.
