This condo is exactly as advertised and more. From the moment we reserved, Jill ( the property owner) was in contact with us and answered all our questions. The condo was easy to find and easy to check in! She even gave us a late check out since our flight didn’t leave until later in the evening. We love Maui and Luana Kai!

Jill and Brian’s place is exactly as described and our family of four felt right at home immediately. The condo was stocked with cleaning supplies, bath supplies, kitchen essentials and even a rice cooker. I especially appreciated the ziplock bags and takeout containers that allowed us to pack lunches during our day trips. Everything was organized and labeled. Jill was very communicative from the start and we felt we knew exactly what to expect. We appreciated the open communication especially during the Maui wildfires when we were unsure if we should proceed with our vacation plans. Our family enjoyed the quiet amenities onsite, especially the pool and our sunset walks by the beach, only a short 5 minutes away. We also appreciated the ground floor access where our kids could play in the grass. A minor complaint was that the patio door lock was old and we struggled locking the door with our key. All in all it felt like a home away from home and I’d strongly recommend Jill and Brian’s condo to anyone looking for a relaxing time in Kihei.

The listing does not to the condo and the rest of the property justice. We loved dining outside, having coffee on the beach, and enjoying all the green space. (which is much needed with a 7 and 11 year old). The condo was well stocked with not only the basics but lots of extras, including all the beach items we needed. When we come back to Maui, we will come right back here!

The rental property suited our family of 4 wonderfully. It had all we needed and more. Communication with the owners was easy and very helpful. Location is nice and central to be able to explore the Island. We would return to this property again.

The condo was very clean and nicely furnished. The equipment was great and nothing was missing. The owners were incredibly nice and took care of a smooth process. The condo is very conveniently to reach all the highlights of the island in not too long time.

My family of 5 stayed in the condo for over a week. It was perfect and spacious enough for us. We love the extras that were provided including boogie boards, coolers, bags, golf clubs, frisbee,…etc. It was convenient not to have to buy basic supplies for the kitchen and bathroom. They were provided by the owner. The Luana Kai resort is gorgeous and just a very small walk to the beach. We had a great vacation and Jill was very helpful with booking and answered all of our questions very quickly before and during our vacation.

This property exceeded our expectations. I am a meticulous person, and the condo is exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet, and very well maintained. The complex is overseen by onsite professionals who are friendly and accessible, and there are staff who work daily to keep the landscaping, pool area, and common spaces well kept. The bedroom sizes are generous, and we loved the floorplan which provides separation between the master and guest bedrooms. Open kitchen / living area was awesome, and we ate most meals on the patio area. Washer/dryer & all appliances worked great, and the kitchen had more than everything we needed. The Owners are highly organized & went above and beyond to make sure that our visit was perfect. A BIG shout out to Jill: we cannot thank you enough & hope to be back soon!

This property was absolutely amazing! It literally had everything we could possibly need. Jill (owner) was so kind and easy to work with. The location was perfect for a family. Right on the beach and close to everything. All the neighbors next to her condo were so nice. It was the best vacation experience we have ever had. We will stay there again for sure!!!

We loved our stay at Jill and Brian's condo. The location is on the north end of Kihei with easy access to restaurants, grocery shopping and the local flee market. We enjoyed the ground floor access with a grassy courtyard to enjoy. It was very fun the hear the laughter of kids playing in the courtyard, neighbors enjoying drinks on their patio with friends and family, and the birding is really good from the patio as well. We liked the layout of the condo with the bedrooms at opposite ends and the kitchen/living space in the middle. There was also plenty of space to store our suitcases and other larger items. Jill and Brian were also kind enough to leave access to a small and large cooler, beach chairs and boogie boards. The beach is easy to access, although it has an abundance of coral on the beach making it a little hard on the bare feet. No worries, we had tons of fun exploring other beaches while we were there.

We are a retired couple who enjoyed the ground level access to the beautiful grounds, pool and beech. The condo size was ideal for ourselves and one other adult friend who joined us. The happy surprise was how quiet it was during the night. The guests at this complex are mostly young families with children and "old folks" like us.
With the pool closing at 9pm and families back in their units, there was no late night party crowd. We enjoyed watching and meeting the young children and their parents. We would like to return and rent two more condos in the same complex for our two children and the grandkids.

Jill’s condo was absolutely perfect for our stay. My granddaughter (7) loved being able to run outside to do cartwheels, and to wait “patiently” for the pool to open. She and her mother took a sunrise walk every morning on the beach. We saw turtles and whales on our walks, and the sunsets were gorgeous. The condo had everything we needed and is beautifully appointed. The master suite was perfect and provided a welcoming respite. We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it. Jill is wonderful to work with - communicative and helpful, provided all the information we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in the Luana Kai condo in Kihei. The condo was very clean and well stocked. The lanai was a short distance to the pool and the beach. The owner Jill was a pleasure to work with, she was responsive and a real help navigating the travel rules to Hawaii.

Our hosts provided us a beautiful home for our family vacation! We had all the supplies we needed for a week in Maui (kitchenware, beach towels, cleaning products). It made my grandma's 70th birthday so special! We are so grateful for this wonderful, comfortable spot where we rested up before trekking around the island. We hope to stay again!

Everything what was said about this condo is true! We are a family with two young kids and we had an amazing time! Jill is amazing host. There is nothing what we were missing. We literally brought just our clothes and toiletries. Everything else was provided by host. We will be back for sure. Can’t wait until next time Maui!

I had the easiest process renting this property from Jill & Brian. Booking was a breeze and all accommodations/questions were tended to promptly.
Prior to arrival we received an arrival packet that made everything even easier. Check-in was also easy, quick, and convenient. The place was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go and was ideal as far as quiet and relaxing.
The rental itself was extremely clean and had everything you needed as far as necessities, household & water sports. The only thing I would suggest is bringing your own A/C if you overheat but the weather is so beautiful and there are plenty of fans to keep cool.
I would like to thank Jill & Brian for everything they provided, my family and I would stay here 10 times out of 10 and it really was the best part of our trip, knowing that we had a great place to come back to.

We loved the condo, right on the ground floor steps away from the pool and a beautiful patio. Very well stocked, clean, comfortable. So nice to have two bedrooms with the kids. Jill was so great at communicating, we felt like we were staying at a family members property! It was a wonderful trip abd we were so sad to leave!

The condo is very spacious and had everything we needed (even ziplock bags)! The ground floor location was perfect for letting our girls run around the lawn while we made or ate breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen served us well when we wanted to eat in. It is so close to Ululani's Shave ice and the Huli Huli truck (Wed, Sat) that we had to enjoy each more than once! We ate at Sugar Beach Bakery on the last day and wish we had tried it earlier. My husband loved the Musubi! The condo's location on the island makes a drive to Lahaina, Wailea or Paia very easy but is far enough removed from the large resorts and crowded Kihei center to be very relaxing! The only downside was lack of AC but there were plenty of portable fans and ceiling fans to use. We used the beach chairs, sand toys, boogie board, beach towels and clothes drying rack. We weren't lacking anything! Thank you Jill and Brian!

Jill was constantly in touch and helpful during the booking process. The information provided was easy to follow and helped us settle down quickly in the condo. Once we checked in, we found the condo to be very comfortable and well stocked with all the daily necessities - plenty of sheets, towels, kids toys, utensils, appliances, extra bed etc. With two little kids - it is a great relief not to have to worry about all sorts of logistics and only focus on them and their activities :)
Our stay at Jill's condo made our vacation in Maui very stress free and comfortable. So a big Mahalo to her and her crew :D

This super clean condo is beautifully and comfortably decorated making it easy to enjoy as soon as you unpack. Jill and Brian have gone out of their way to make their home a wonderful experience for vacationers. This condos location in Kihei is central to all areas in Maui; sight-seeing, excursions and beach-going are SO easy and convenient. The condo is generously supplied with all household and beach-going necessities. We are so happy we chose to stay at Jill and Brian’s condo...it is superior.

The condo was very nicely updated and quite pleasant to stay in. Our family of 5 was comfortable in it and it was great for our 3 young kids to be able to run out and play on the grass. One of the draws for this spot was the great location, with the beach just a short walk across the grass, the fantastic pool and BBQ set up with a view of the sunset, the tiki torches being lit at night, and the general comfort we had with all aspects of the condo and property. The office was always very helpful in suggesting different beaches as well. We also did a lot of the great recommendations that Jill gave us on things to do. All around a fantastic place for our home base while on Maui!

Had a great experience renting from Jill. She is very detailed and responsive. She was a wonderful host and the condo was well stocked with everything needed. Condo is close to pool which has multiple open use BBQ's. Pool temp was nice and cool for the warm days but not so cold that you needed to get out. Condo was really quiet and at times felt like we had the place to ourselves even though most units were being stayed in.
The rooms don't get dark during the day which made naps difficult for our two small children. The unit doesn't have AC but has ceiling fans in each bedroom and the living room along with multiple portable fans. It would get really warm during the day though at least when we were there. Can't imagine what an upper unit would feel like. Loved having easy access out the back door to the pool and grass open area. Jill recommended we rent a vehicle and I am glad I did because the nice walking sidewalks on the main street ended just a block down the road and the shopping is a little further down the busy street.
Would definitely stay here again should we decide to return to Maui.

Well maintained property, pool and hot tub. Easy quick walk to the beach. Loved the ambiance of the tiki torches at night.
Jill was quick to respond to questions. Very easy to work with. Would stay again and rent from her. Information book available at condo on how to use appliances. It also provided recommendations for dining, hikes shopping! washer and dryer available in condo for use so I could take a carry on. Clear instructions and expectations for care of condo.

We totally enjoyed our time at Launa Kai from April 16-26. Having a ground-floor suite was marvelous, given that we were travelling with 4 adults and a 7 month old baby. Great location!
The open grass courtyard between the condos is beautiful. Spent lots of time in the pool and enjoyed dinners using one of the many poolside BBQ's and patio tables. Working with Jill was very positive ... she is a gracious host. Gotta try the fish tacos at Coconuts.

If you are travelling with a family, this property can not be beat! The grounds are beautifully maintained. The property is the perfect size, the walk to the pool and beach are not too farat all! This was our first time staying in this location on the island and it was perfectly central to everything. This unit sits right where the kid action was so it was great for our son. It was spring break so probably had more kids than other times. Jill and Brian have their place stocked with everything you may need which is so thoughtful. They are amazing hosts and were very accommodating to us. I loved the layout of the condo, it felt very spacious. We will definitely be back!

Jill and Brian's condo in Kihei was everything they said it was and more. We were there for 9 nights and we had a wonderful time. They had all of the amenities that were described in the ad for the condo. Any questions we had, Jill was able to help us with. They had everything you need for going to the beach, from chairs to umbrellas and snorkeling equipment. Great lanai to sit and have your morning coffee on or an evening meal. We will most certainly go back and will tell friends and family that if they want a wonderful place to stay, this is it. Thanks again Jill & Brian.
