I had always stayed on the west side, but decided to keep our trip after the fire and chose Kihei. This condo was great. Amazing view. Close to beaches, places to eat and shop. Pools were beautiful. Condo very well stocked and beds comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Beautiful view of the ocean from the lanai. Spacious unit and well equipped (beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc.). Did not get to use the bikes (I usually take a 6 mile walk daily), but the opportunity to use a bicycle was really nice. We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. Also, Alice (the owner) was quick to respond to any issue we had during our stay. Great experience!!

Absolutely perfect. Beautiful grounds ,the entire condo property is so clean and like a mini jungle. We really enjoyed all the birds, listening and watching them were so fun. Comfortable and just overall a great space. Everything was clean and cozy. There is plenty of room to stretch out and you can enjoy the outside as much as inside the condo. Amenities, we enjoyed using the fully equipped kitchen as well as the beach gear. The pools are also clean and kept up well. Location was perfect. You will find beaches, food truck corrals, and shopping options as close as 2 minutes away. Communication with the host was easy and straight forward. And last but not least - Sunsets. Breathtaking view while you sit on the patio or from inside, the palms and plants make a lovely frame .

This condo was perfect for our family of four. The view from the Lanai is BEAUTIFUL. We saw whales breaching one morning while we enjoyed our coffee on the Lanai! (The binoculars helped). The location of the condo is great and within walking distance or a short drive to fantastic beaches, shops, restaurants and shaved ice for the kids. The condo was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our trips to the beach (chairs, cooler, umbrella, etc.).
Alice was accommodating and very pleasant to communicate with. We highly recommend staying here!

Great location! Plenty of things at the condo for beach adventures. The only downside was the linens with flat pillows and old towels. Very roomy condo. If you live to watch the ocean & sunsets from your room, this is the place to be.

My first question to the cleaning company was what was their responsibility to the homeowner when things needed addressing or replaced. It would appear that this cleaning company surfaced cleaned and didn’t do such a good job of it. But who’s checking when the cleaning company is checking themselves. These homeowners are absolutely taken advantage of. For cleanliness this unit rated poorly. The lint above the dining table that had embedded into the popcorn ceiling I understand it is difficult to clean. But what is the excuse for the walls. I don’t think the cleaning people looked above the counters. Our stay was only seven days, had it been longer I would have been very disappointed. Thankfully there was an additional bed to sleep on as the bed in the bedroom although it appeared to be relatively new it was bottom of the line when it came to comfort. Spring coil for sure because every time you moved around you could feel the springs. I can’t say that I have ever been in Hawaii and have not encountered ants. Never as many as I encountered in this unit. Adding additional ant traps on the kitchen counters helped. Although the B52 bombers( flying cockroaches) and centipedes were a first for us. The office was closed for a couple of days when we went there to address the problem. Stopping at Costco for groceries was an error after I looked at the pots and pans I was expected to use. I had two small skillets, two egg size and one small pot capable of melting a cube of butter to use for the week. It seemed to me that the homeowner relied on the cleaning company to work with them as they were not on the island. The view from the lanai was spectacular although the sliding doors had to be manhandled as the rollers were shot on each door. Would explain the broken door jam from putting to much effort into closing the door. All the closet doors are by-folding with probably the original hardware. Thankfully there was a stool to stand on so I could fix the doors to properly close without them coming off the track. I’m okay doing this in my own home not at a vacation rental. The stain on the ceiling in the hall (the shape of a toilet bowl) was the deciding factor when it came to writing a review. I never have because if I was ever unsatisfied with something all the other good things made up for it. The unit itself has potential for being a great space. Currently it’s a handyman special.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maui Kamaole unit G104. The apartment fully matches descriptions/photos from the website. Having our meals in the lanai/patio while looking at the ocean and enjoying a light breeze was wonderful. In evenings we could see sunset.
It was great having beach chairs, sun umbrellas, large beach towels and snorkelling equipment at our disposal. All appliances are in great conditions and 2 BBQs (shared with other guests in Ginger section but we never needed to wait for our turn) are only 50 meters from the unit. One of the BBQs is old and needs fixing up/replacement but the other one is fine.
Having 2 bathrooms, each with shower was extremely convenient.
The unit is well maintained and clean and the beds are comfortable. Even though this is one-bedroom unit, it contains 2 proper beds (as opposed to bed + a pull out sofa)!!!
Overall , we enjoyed the stay a lot and if we come to Maui again we will stay at the same place.

We wife and I loved this spot. The sunset view from the porch was perfect. We walked across the street to catch a boat to Molokini Crater for snorkeling (Red Line Rafting) and walked frequently to the beach and shops just a little north of the condo.

First time to Maui and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Owner communication was fantastic. Right across from the beach, plenty of beach accessories to use and walking distance to restaurants and some shops. Short drive to Wileai for all the same stuff. Highly recommended and will be back!

This was the perfect property for our family to use as our home base for our Maui vacation. We loved eating breakfast on the lanai overlooking the ocean and having the grassy area for the kids to throw the football. So convenient to have boogie boards, snorkel gear and beach chairs available for our use. We would definitely stay here again.

Property was overall very good, great location, views were amazing, large lanai with all the beach toys you need. Although only one bedroom the second bed works great as a second room. The condo was stocked with everything you need, and being so close to Kihei makes it very easy should you need anything. The property itself was amazing, two great pools, tennis, beaches 1 min walk across the road. Parking was great, right in front of the condo. Overall this was a great place to stay, the condo itself is a little dated on the inside and could use a refresh. It could also stand for a good cleaning. I would stay here again.

What a wonderful place! Great ocean and sunset views. Great location, short 2 minute walk to a great beach. Easy walk to some good restaurants but still far enough to be away from the main drag to be quiet and peaceful.
Kitchen has everything needed for cooking your own meals, 2 bathrooms allow for couples to get ready at the same time. Tons of beach items, chairs, umbrellas, towels. Boogie boards and even bikes!
Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay in Alice’s condo very much. The location was excellent and a great starting off point for all of our excursions and activities. We loved the sunset views and daily walks along oceanfront trails, searching for and finding turtles each day. Our teens loved the bikes to have some independent time about town. The condo has a well-equipped kitchen and a great layout for a family of four. Great communication and clear information from Alice.

Alice's condo is a lovely 1 bedroom, with a large lanai/ porch area that overlooks a large grassy hill, overlooking the ocean. Watching the sunset with my wife and two kids, from the lanai was very special and memorable. The condo its self is roomy with a large master bedroom for the adults and a day bed in the living room for our 4 year old and even a portable crib for our 2 year old. The condo comes fully stocked with almost every beach amenity you can think of from beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, boogie boards and snorkles, as well as, a fully stocked kitchen with all the utensils, pots and pans needed for cooking. The Maui Kamaole is a well kept property and the two pools onsite were great to bring the kids too in the afternoon when the winds picked up and the waves got bigger. The condo is also within walking distance from Maui Kamaole 3 beach and many of the restaurants in Kihei. On top of all that, Alice is very detailed and responsive and ensures you're taken care of when staying at her place.
