The location was good. It was quiet and clean. The condominium had an elevator, pool and BBQ area. The condo had everything you need for the long stay. There was an AC but we did not use it because the big trees made a nice shade and temperature was comfortable even in the night. It would be good to have more Laundry Detergent then for two loads because we stayed there for almost 2 weeks and it was not enough. The Charley Young Beach was good but I would not recommend it for kids becasue of the rough waves even they looked quite. We've checked all beaches and found that Keawakapu Beach was better for kids and there was a riff with high chance to see turtles. You can actually investigate new beach every day from this location. The most useful local store was ABC. The cheapest store was COSCO. The best and cheapest car rent was Kihei Rent-A-Car. We would definitely recommend this place for staying.

We arrived on Maui the day of the fires. Sadly, we only stayed one night as non-essential travel was discouraged by officials and one person in our party had issues with the smoky air. We were so sad to leave this beautiful, clean and comfortable condo. It had everything we could possibly need. The view from the lanai was beautiful and lush (we even had a slight ocean view). The birdsong in the morning was beautiful. The beach was a few-minutes walk from the condo.
Communication with the local management company was great and they were able to help us through this unfortunate change of plans. We will definitely book this condo again should we travel to Maui again in the future.
Praying for Maui. May it come back even stronger from this tragic event.

Overall a great place to stay in Maui, it’s in a good location to travel to all areas of Maui. Lots of places to shop and eat. There is a nice beach within walking distance. The place is nice and clean.

Great Location with Charley Young Beach Access Across the Street! Great family beach especially with younger kids. The waves were gentler here than other beaches. We traveled with 2 10 year olds and it's an easy beach to hang out at! The condo was well stalked in the kitchen (we only ate out 2 times for the 9 days we were there) and they had everything we needed for cooking. King Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning an essential for night time sleeping.

A good condo with an ocean view from its 2nd floor lanai. It was well stocked and had a washer and dryer. the bed was good too with a beateaful Hawaiian cover. The only negative was the fry pans which are old scratched up Teflon. We ended up cooking in the two stainless steel sauce pans.

We really enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy and I was really happy that the place was clean. Sometimes with these older apartments, they don't feel clean...but this one did, so I really appreciated that!
The apartment had everything we needed, really loved the beach chairs and umbrella. The bed was huge and comfortable so I liked that. The only thing that would be awesome, is if they put a smart TV in the bedroom!
The AC in the living area worked great, it can get warm in the bedroom so we would leave the bedroom door open and have the fan on.
The location was ok, there are definitely some things I love about Kihei. I didn't prefer the beaches in the area, we loved going North by Lahaina.
Oh and definitely a nice quiet complex! Which is the other huge thing for us, so that was lovely.
We'd definitely go back.

Had a comfortable stay at this clean and neat property in Kihei. Perfectly located across the road from the beach with ample parking and easy walking distance to shops and lots of delicious food options. I found it to be a very convenient base for getting around Maui both by car and on foot. Check in process was easy. Would recommend.

If your looking for simple and don't need anything fancy, this condo is perfect. It's quite dated, but it's clean and has pretty much everything you need. Including a small washer and dryer, which was really convenient. It's very small, so I did a load or two a day, but we came home with all clean laundry. The location is GREAT. Walking distance to numerous beaches, shops, restaurants. Parking can be tricky if you come in late at night, but we always found something, even if it was a little far. I felt very safe/secure. The office staff was helpful/friendly. The owner replies promptly. The lanai does face a parking lot, which kinda stinks, but it's always shaded and roomy. Sitting there and enjoying coffee in the morning, despite the parking lot view was nice. They do provide coolers to take to and from, which is great. There is only two beach towels, so I'd plan to bring more. Luckily we packed two of our own. There is an umbrella and beach chairs. The umbrella is missing the long piece to be able to stake it in the ground. The chairs are old and not worth hauling. We stayed for 9 nights. Our two kids shared the pull out couch in the living room, which worked well. The king bed is okay, not awesome and it does get hot in the back room as the AC is in the front of the condo, but there is a ceiling fan and small fan. They had an iron board and iron, which I appreciated for family picture night. I don't know why, but the coffee samples the cleaning lady leaves are amazing and I wish I could have found that exact coffee. The owner tried helping me, which was greatly appreciated. We spent most of our time in Lahaina, which is only 18 miles, but a 40 minute (easy) drive from the condo. Again, it's perfect if you are not looking for anything fancy or updated. The price was great. The unit was clean. Communication was great. For this reason, I still give 5 stars even though it was much more dated than I had expected.
Oh, the pool is very very small, but just fine. Who comes to Maui for a pool anyway? We spent just a couple hours there one day to appease my daughter.

Our condo was quick walking distance to a sandy beach where we could watch gorgeous sunsets! The condo was clean and had the necessities needed for our 8 day stay. ( I did find the the two slice toaster did not work. ) The condo is on the second floor with a slight view of the ocean but still nice to sit out there with coffee and listen to the birds. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

For the price, the room was great. Well stocked kitchen for east cooking and leftover food storage. Bed was cozy. Hide a bed for the kids worked. Only problem is beach chairs and umbrella are not useable. Figured that out after lugging then to the beach.

The condo was amazing! Everything listed was exactly as it was. The space was big enough for my husband and I. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen and laundry area were perfect. It took us 2 days to figure out that the full length mirror was behind the bedroom door! Haha. The living room has a large TV that isn't mentioned on the listing. The sound wasn't working at first but we figured out that it needed a technical update and we did that. And as soon as it updated, the sound worked perfectly. We were able to watch football and the local news. Which we enjoyed quite a bit. The company that manages the condo contacted me to ask if a drapery company can come to the condo and install some drapes. They confirmed day and time, but the install company never showed up. Which was fine with us. The location of the condo is absolutely perfect. It's right across the street from Charley Young State Beach. And has a partial ocean view from the lanai. The living room is a perfect size. And set up beautifully. All the decorations in the condo are super cute. The bedroom and the living room both have ceiling fans Which is necessary. The bedroom also has a rotation desk fan which was also necessary as the wall unit ac is in the living room. The ac worked great. Just wish there was one in the bedroom also. But that is okay, it doesn't drop any stars on this property. When we come back, we are hoping to book with this condo again next year. It is affordable and worked just great for my husband and I. The property is beautiful and well maintained by the HOA. There is also 24 hour security here! And very very quiet!

We booked the suite as a last minute honeymoon. Everything about the property was as listed. Simple, comfortable, great location, pleasant amenities. Huge and comfortable king size bed. Free Maui Vista parking! We walked the 2 minute stroll to Charley Young Beach every day. Stunning and quiet beach. Shopped at Foodland, a 10 min walk away. Better selection and prices than Walmart. This was a perfect spot to enjoy the island, in the best part of Kihei. Don’t expect luxury. It’s a simple suite and a bit dated, but a perfectly comfortable home base for two or for a family with small kids. We would definitely book again.

I was there with my two kids (11y, 14y). The location is perfect. It’s good to have a car, as we wanted to discover more bays, but there is a beach just 5 minutes on foot or 3 minutes by car an other one which are good for little kids.
The kitchen was amazingly equipped! Storage boxes, toaster, pretty clean pans, so it’s really possible to cook and to live in this condo.
For us the fancoil was perfect, the roomtemperature was just as we like (I am not a fan of airco).
Even there is an aloe gel for sunburnt!:-)
There are 3 beach chairs, but one of them is broken for a long time I gueds, as the Metall part is full with stain. The other two were ok.
There are planty of towels, even for the beach.
The bed is very comfy, the couch is ok for kids :-))
I didn’t have any contact with the property manager, I didn’t need it.
It was easy to find a parking place each day.
I can really recommend this condo! It was just a perfect stay.

We really loved the condo and its location is perfect. Cross the street and you have the Chatlie Young beach. Great restaurants, shopping, and markets in both directions on Kihei Road within a short walk. Ample parking and easy access. The AC unit helped keep us cool when the temps crept up. The condo is well-appointed amd comfortable. One more comfy chair in the living room would be nice, otherwise it was a nice setup for our family of four. Lovely sunsets through the trees from the balcony and we enjoyed waking up to birds singing and roosters periodically crowing. Complex pools are nice for a dip but too small for laps. Front office staff were super helpful with n easy and quick check-in process.

Note that we've stayed in Kihei once before. This location was fantastic, walking distance to beaches (5 minutes), shops and coffee. The beach options were perfect for surfing (out the front and to the right), or being at a beautiful sandy beach for paddle boarding, snorkeling, or playing in the surf (out the front and to the left - note this area has a beach break and you need to keep an eye on the surf conditions, but a lifeguard station is right there for consultation). The unit was a nice 1 bedroom and quiet! The entry key arrangement was great and you could never lock yourself out. Everything we needed was provided for (kitchen items, beach towels etc.). In general in January not much air conditioning is needed, but that worked well when desired. The unit essentials were clean (floors, carpet, bathroom). Our only improvement suggestion would be a deeper clean for the unit once a month (door handles, microwave, under the sofa etc.). We have a beach house in Oregon and find that a deeper level of clean is needed periodically. This place and location were a great value for the price. Thank you Stewart!

This property is centrally located in Kihei. Two important upgrades include a king bed and renovated bathroom. The lanai is shady which keeps the condo cool without air conditioning. The kitchen has adequate cooking supplies. We were satisfied with everything.

Thank you very much for the wonderful time my family had in Maui. The condo has the best location. Beach access is just a few steps away and cafe's too. Had a chance to swim with the turtles. You have all the basics in the unit.
