We came across the property while looking to extend our stay in Maui.
It is exactly as described and shown in the photos.
The unit is well equipped with everthing you need to be comfortable and safe.
We were only here for 4 days, but quickly found our way around the property. The location of the resort is convenient and easily accessible for everything on the island.
Communication with Bob was great, and he seems genuinely concerned that our stay was enjoyable.
We highly recommend this unit to anyone interested in a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Our host Bob was amazing! Totally made my family feel welcome and very responsive to questions I had. The room itself was fully furnished and in immaculate condition.
The Papakea resort was the perfect stay for my family. Steps away from the ocean, pristine landscaping, clean pool and spa.
We are definitely staying here again.

The unit is beautifully designed and maintained. Quiet and with beautiful views of the grounds and water. Newer kitchen, appliances, and remodeled bathroom with comfortable furniture and bedding. Kitchen was pretty well stocked with most everything you'll need if you prepare your own meals (dishes, pans, utensils etc. There were no seasonings or condiments)
Air conditioning works great once you figure out the nuances of the remote control and an unidentified wall timer.
Again, a very comfortable and stylish retreat. I think most people would really like this unit and I'd recommend it as well.

My stay was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend staying in this unit . Fully equipped with everything you need including beach chairs and beach towels. I have stayed in this unit multiple times and Bob is always fast to respond to questions and concerns . The location of unit is also a plus with amazing views of ocean and pool. We are seniors and the Papakea is a wonderful place to take the whole family. It is very family oriented and to put it in our granddaughters words, it’s better than Walt Disney. We loved the whale excursions, Mama’s house, Sea house, Kimo’s, Duke’s and steaks out on the grills at the Papakea. It’s the most beautiful place on earth to us! We really enjoyed our stay! It was my husband, myself and our 2 kids (11 & 13). There was plenty of room for us all. The place was very clean and enjoyable. It had everything we needed for our stay. The grounds and amenities were very nice as well. We were within walking distance to the grocery store, food trucks and the beach. The host was very friendly and responded quickly when we booked. We didn't have to contact them during our stay at all because there were no issues! I would book this place again and totally recommend this place to others!

We have been staying on the Papakea property for 15 years. This was our first time in this unit. This unit is absolutely perfect. Nicely updated and well stocked . All the goodies you need for the beach. The lanai is beautifully situated and the view is awesome. Thank you for an awesome week.

We used this condo for our NW Maui leg. The condo was in great shape and has most of the extras you need. Close enough to the departure area for our Lanai snorkel tour and close to some great restaurants. Owner instructions were spot-on.

The room we had was amazing. The accommodations were excellent. The pool and ocean where within 90 feet of us. You can walk to just about anywhere to have fun weather it was on the ocean or on the town. There were amazing local food and entertainment areas in less then 5 miles. There were also local food trucks right around the corner. Over all this was a great place to stay and the grounds were kept immaculate . The staff and Concierge were very helpful and fun. Enjoy All.

✨Property was accurate as described on listing. Kitchen was well equipped with pans, dishes and paper towels and dish soap, etc. There was a washer with detergent and dryer which was large enough to wash a few items. The oven did have pepperoni sauce on glass and a piece of pepperoni on door. Bedroom was great with drawers and closet hangers and a/c and fans and a comfy bed! The bathroom was good except lighting was a little dark by sink /vanity area which we didn’t mind because the living room space is bright and well lite with mirrors all around.
The beach front of hotel was gorgeous and water was so clear blue. Coming from Oahu it was a real treat to have a quite empty beach with only 2 small families nearby but enough privacy for my husband and I. We went to to beach earlier around 9:00am and the beach had a good area of sand that was clean with no debris in water or sand. Go early because the tide covers the sand area up. The hotel grounds were well taken of and relaxing to walk through. We didn’t go to the pool but it was fun for many. The koi fish pond was pretty with a small water features and a little Bridgetown walk over.
Overall I would highly recommend this rental!

We arrived arrived at noon and thought we might be able to check in a bit early. The reception staff was super nice and checked us in and said the room we had a guaranteed 3 pm check in. We drove to whalers and came back at 3pm, unloaded everything and made our through the large compound to our floor where our room was located. A cleaning lady was working on the room and said she was sorry, but the room was filthy and she needed at least 15 minutes. We had already brought everything up to the floor so thought we would wait. 1 hour and 45 mins later, almost two hours past our guaranteed check in time, we were let in the room. Aside from the bumpy start, the condo was beautiful, property was awesome and the stay was super relaxing. Mahalo

The condo was perfect for what my wife and I needed for a few days. The condo is updated very nicely in the kitchen and bathroom. Beautiful cabinets and granite countertops in the kitchen and a nice bathroom with a glass walk in shower. The place was very clean and the best part is the beautiful lanai looking out to the ocean. Book this place the grounds are beautiful and it would be perfect for a couple. We will be back!

Apartment was comfortable. Balcony overlooks one of the pools. Washer/dryer convenient too. This is a large resort. Mostly an older crowd, didn't see many children. Quiet in the evenings. Never did get either of the A/C's to work, but the nights were cool so just used the ceiling fan. Overall good for the price

It’s hard to believe that it has already been a week since we returned from our wonderful holiday in Maui. Thank you Bob for your hospitality and the use of your beautiful island home at Papakea. Every time we walked into the condo, we were impressed by the breathtaking view! Everything we needed was provided - from the fully equipped kitchen to the beach chairs. You thought of absolutely everything to ensure our stay was perfect. We began and ended almost every day on the lanai - it was heavenly. Although the location is very private it is still close to everything . We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and loved every aspect of your amazing piece of paradise. The property was nice, neat and clean. Couple things that could have been better, we don't come to Maui to watch TV but when we were here there was a hurricane heading towards the Islands and we tried to get updated on the TV. Getting the cable on and set up was way more compilcated than it needed to be. There is a rather loud noise (think pump, compressor or fog horn) that an be heard in the condo thru out the day and night. The noise was not so loud we could not sleep but loud enough to be a bother. Other than couple things its a nice condo and would stay again.

My husband, teenage son, and I stayed in E207 for one of our annual trips to Maui. We have stayed at Papakea in various units over the past 40 years and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
E207 was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The A/C was wonderful to have for those hotter days but mostly we didn’t need to use it because of the breeze you get in this unit.
Bob, the owner, was great to work with and was extremely responsive to any questions we had. We will absolutely be staying in this unit again when we return next year.

We enjoyed our stay. We really liked how close it is to several beaches. It was nice that there was snorkel gear and a cooler provided. The property was nice, but not a lot of beach front access. We were not told ahead of time that there is a $17 a day resort fee not included in the initial cost. We also had a hard time figuring out the bedroom AC, but the fan worked well.

We loved this unit! We traveled as three married couples and each couple chose individual units at Papakea. We loved our choice! It was clean, a great location, comfy bed, and we loved being on the second floor overlooking the grounds. There are two AC units that cooled the place right down when we got back home every day. The bedroom AC unit made a bit of noise every minute or two, which was annoying. But it didn't ruin our stay. The two other couples we traveled with only had one AC unit in their condos, so we were grateful we had two.. The kitchen was well stocked, we loved being able to use the washer and dryer. Supplies for the beach were plentiful! They had towels, chairs, boogie boards, coolers, etc. The owner response throughout our booking and stay were very responsive. I've stayed in vacation rentals all over the world and this one did not disappoint!

Always a treat to get to stay in Papakea E207. I have now stayed in Bob’s unit many times and it never disappoints . The views from Lanai are amazing and location is awesome. The unit is fully stocked I left a new Tommy Bahama chair and there’s another 3 plus in closet along with cooler , umbrella and multiple body boards. I highly recommend making dining reservations well ahead of stay as many restaurants are booked out months . Thanks again for letting us enjoy our stay in your beautiful unit Bob. Can’t wait to return next summer !!!!
