Large Clean Updated Studio Condo at a FANTASTIC full service yet quiet resort that was perfect for a getaway for me & my travel partner. Nice touches the owner has in the condo like beach chairs, umbrella, cooler snorkel/fins for use at the beach. Great pool, great quality beach for swimming, snorkeling. Walkable to everything, open air trolley free transportation within Kaanapali. Great outdoor recreation. Equipment rental hut convenient at beach entrance for any items you need. Lobby tour desk helped us book sunset cruise for 30 less than we would have paid online, and gave us true idea what to expect. On site restaurant was great and convenient. Pool felt "resort" enough with waterfalls and hot tubs and lush plantings that it seemed like a bigger "chain" resort but without the busy feeling and crowds (and kids) that flock to those such as Hyatt, Westin, Marriott nearby. Convenient parking and laundry. Close to shops, Right on the beach walk to other resorts. LOVED this place. Would return to this owner's condo in a heartbeat, or rent from any other owner on same property. MUCH more affordable to rent direct from owner vs the hotel management website, probably 2/3 or less of the hotel site price. Parking was a breeze, just steps from our condo, was all self parking. We didn't use the gym but it's there. Fun fact we learned: pool restaurant Castaway Cafe is the former airport terminal building for the decommissioned airport nearby. This condo was well appointed. When we arrived the studio was welcoming with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. This Kaannapali Villas is my favorite place to stay in in West Maui. I have returned many times to the Kaannapali Villas. It is a perfect location and I love the low rise nature of the resort. I hope to return to this particular studio in the future. It was perfect. The peak of the ocean from the lanai was greater than expected. Thank you for keeping the price down and the opportunity to rent your beautifully maintained and welcoming condo.

Great property, quiet, really nice landscaping. It was too quiet for our son, though, who was looking for a livelier pool scene. But for a couple or a family with small children it is very relaxing. The only other issue is that the room safe quit working and maintenance had to drill it out to get our valuables. Nice that they have a trolley that makes regular runs to Whalers Village and other places.

We stayed for 10 days. The apartment is clean and fully stuffed. Great location very close to the restaurants. The beach nearby is very good(clean and also contains coral reefs with a lot of fish). The host is very responsive.

Unfortunately we were here the week of the fires. I just have to say that Susan went above and beyond when our stuff had to be left behind at the condo as we had to come home early. I can’t say enough positive things! Myself and my family are so thankful!
The time we did have here, we enjoyed the location and short walk to the beach. The property was easy to navigate. The room was clean with all the amenities you would need and more!
I hope someday soon you are able to enjoy this place as we did.

This place was amazing! Room was nice and clean, loved the fact the fridge had an ice maker. Close walking distance to the beach. Will definitely be booking here again in the future!

We had a wonderful time! Just a few steps from the beautiful beach. The condo had everything you could possibly need. It even had beach chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards. We had bought a few sand toys and the neighbors gave us a tube which we left to add to collection of beach necessities. This is a great location and has everything within walking distance. Definitely will be staying here again next year!

This villa has an amazing ground floor location that has a small view of the ocean and part of Lanai! The unit was extremely clean and comfortable for my family. We were able to use the many beach chairs and body boards left in the closet. We will definitely be back to enjoy this unit again. Thank you!

Loved this place. My friend and I stayed her for a week in November. We were a short walk to the ocean. The rental had everything we needed, plus more. Susan, the owner was very accommodating. I highly recommended.

MKV is located on what I consider the best beach snorkeling spot we've been to. Would recommend to family and friends.

The room was close to the pool and a short walk to the beautiful Kaanapali beach.

Having booked a year in advance everything went as planned. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was great, bathroom gets 3 stars. Proximity to smaller, Less crowded pool and hot tub was a bonus.
Cannot speak highly enough of the MKV staff people, the grounds, amenities (yoga and aquasize included) and area. No better place to stay in Kaanapali!

Very nicely appointed unit. The grounds are very beautiful and relaxing. Nicer appeal over the high rise type of property. Golden sands beach just steps away. Pools clean and a great place to spend time when not out and about.

The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful, particularly, whomever checked us in (can't remember her name), and Lisa the concierge.
The unit itself was in terrific shape, immaculate, and had extras like beach chairs and boogie boards. Working with Susan was extremely easy. She is very helpful and responsive if you have any questions.
We would definitely book again when it's time to return!

Bed was awful, TV didn’t work and the tub-shower didn’t drain properly.
When reported, nothing was done to remedy the situation.

Susan the owner really stepped up allowing us to stay and additional 4 nights at no charge due to us being stranded here by Hurricane Lane! This unit has a great view of the ocean and great, convenient location to all! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Can't say enough good things. Susan was a wonderful host to deal with - responsive, warm and helpful. The place was immaculate and comfortable (very cool and shady) and surprisingly quiet. The location is absolutely dreamy. 2 minutes on foot to the heavenly beach, no traffic to contend with, just beautiful landscaping and all the resort amenities conveniently close. No need for a car - I booked an airport shuttle, used one quick cab trip to the Times grocery store for all my food, and used the free trolley to get around Kaanapali. Wish I could have stayed so much longer - it was all just bliss.

A great accommodation for my wife and I and our two young children. Well stocked with everything we needed, made for a great vacation. Easy close parking, great pools, beautiful landscaped property. This was our first time staying north of Black Rock on Kaanapali Beach, and we really liked it. It’s a little more peaceful and quieter, and there is some nice snorkeling just off shore a little north of the property. We kind of missed being within walking distance of Whalers Village and all the stuff in that area, but there is a free trolley, and the quieter beach is a nice trade off. We will more than likely make this our new go to property when we go to Maui. Highly recommended.

Wow - what a nice condo and an amazing location. This location has probably the best view on the MKV property due to the vacant lot across the street. I have stayed at MKV three times and this turned out to be the best unit that I have stayed in. From seeing whales from the lanai to having the unit perfectly maintained with every possibly amenity needed for a month long vacation. The neatest thing about Maui is that it is always different - from the sunsets - to the rainbows - to whale watching - to visiting Haleakala on three occasions - I can't wait to return and would definitely recommend this unit. I also had the pleasure of meeting Susan and Troy and cannot say enough good things on how nice they are and how they wish to share their love of Maui with everyone. Thank You.
