This is a great, spacious and comfortable condo! It does not have AC but that wasn't an issue for us due to the consistent trade winds plus all the ceiling fans and extra fans provided by Katie. The condo is amply supplied including the kitchen so if you really want to cook you will have everything you need. The complex is nice as well, great swimming beach, pool and other condos for rent. This was a family event for us and other family members rented a condo in the same complex making it easy to coordinate our time and activities. Best of all is the owner, Katie. Seriously couldn't have asked for a better host!!!

Condo is first class in all respects. It is extremely well stocked and thoughtfully furnished. Everything we needed was provided. The kitchen is especially well equipped. We used the rooftop BBQ’s every night and enjoyed the views from our lanai where we ate every meal. The turtle lagoon right in front of the condo complex, the kite surfers, and the pool and beach were all enjoyed every day.

My family and I absolutely LOVED this condo. We travel a lot and we’ve stayed at many different condos/apartments/houses via VRBO and this was hands down the best one we have ever stayed at! We appreciate how it was completely supplied from the welcome gift basket, down to the ice packs in the freezer, this condo made our first trip to Maui that much better. We appreciate how Katie checked in on us during our visit. The condos location is centralized so it wasn’t a far drive to any scenic locations. Not to mention there is a nice beach and pool on property if you just want to hang out at the resort. You will not go wrong if you decide to stay to here.

Katie supplied the condo with everything and more! There was a handwritten welcome and a pineapple and bag of Maui kettle chips to greet us upon arrival. It was such a nice touch and greatly appreciated. There were so many supplies that even with 4 of us we never came close at all to running out of toiletries or cleaning products. Everything was well thought of whether it was boogie boards, towels, chairs or umbrellas, this had it all! There were loads of cooking utensils and pots and pans. The only thing that was missing was a BBQ spatula, and I had no problem paying that forward with a simple $5 purchase from Target. The property was immaculate with landscapers and cleaning support staff always keeping the grounds spotless and well manicured. The pool was so nice and warm, and shuffleboard was played by all. There were 6 BBQs with 3 beside the pool, and the other 3 on the roof afording amazing views! The location is so central that you can so easily get to all the other places on the island, or simply stay right there on the Kihei waterfront property with its own turtle lagoon. Costco, Walmart, Target and more stores are so close, and we of course loved shopping at the local Times supermarket that has everything you could possibly need. Thank you so much Katie for an incredible property and sharing it with us. This was a vacation of a lifetime!

One of the highlights of staying here was my interactions with Katie who is the property manager. We ended up being there during a Kona storm which lasted for two days so she anticipated a power disruption on the island, and proactively called to tell me where to find flashlights and the emergency kit. She also gave us an excellent recommendation to hike out to Dragon’s Teeth after a wonderful visit to Lahaina. Because she lives on the island she can share some great local insider tips.
The condo definitely has a Hawaiian vibe in terms of its furnishings and is well appointed - perfect for a group of 3-4. It literally has everything you need. I did find some things in the kitchen cabinets needing to be hand washed because they had been put away dirty, but that’s likely due to past renters and not the owners. The updates made to the kitchen and bathrooms were noticeable.
What makes this condo an absolute gem is the view of the ocean from the lanai. I’m certain you won’t find that anywhere else on the island for as reasonable a rate as this one. Sipping coffee while listening to the waves was exactly what I needed and it fully delivered. It was a memorable visit for sure!
And if you like Indian food definitely visit the on-site restaurant called Monsoon Bar & Grill. We had a delicious meal here on our first night.

This place was perfect for our family of 4. Katie was an outstanding host. The place had all the essentials- comfy beds, laundry, kitchen supplies, beach stuff, and lots of towels. The deck and primary bedroom have a great ocean view. We kept all of the windows open all night and it was quiet and comfortable. Kehi is a great place to stay because pretty much everywhere you need to go is 20-40 minutes away or you can stay in the area and enjoy the shops and beach at the condo. The beach at the condo includes a swimming hole with a ton of turtles and fish. The turtles were very active while we were there. The waves were not great for boogie boarding but that was a short drive away. We used the rooftop grills one night. It was the cleanest grill I have ever used. I actually saw more cleaning people around the common areas than at many hotels. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. I highly recommend this condo for its great host, affordability for a beach view, and location.

Everything about this rental property was incredible. The location was perfect and central to the activities that we purchased. The view was amazing. The beach area was private with very low traffic. The accommodations were wonderful compete with kitchen supplies, beach supplies (umbrella, boogie boards, towels, coolers, beach toys and so much more). I never expected to have access to so much. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Katie’s condo. She was easily reachable and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay and had everything we needed. The views are gorgeous, the condo is well stocked with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The beach gear was great, the bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and soap, which was appreciated! We were worried about the lack of A/C before we got here but there’s great airflow during the day. Nights did get a little stuffy since we closed the shades to keep the morning light out, but the fans kept us cool enough to be comfortable. There is no shortage of amazing restaurants within minutes (and the Indian restaurant on the first floor is some of the best we’ve ever had!) Would 100% stay here again. Thanks Katie!!!

Great little property located in Kihei. The home came with everything you pretty much need. Location was great and close to beaches, food and anything you really need. Quick drives to all the best spots on the island too.
Only thing we noticed was that the floors were fairly dirty when we got there and could definitely see it and feel it walking around barefoot and letting our babies crawl around. But nothing that would keep us from ever staying here again.
The host was great and super easy to communicate with. Absolutely would recommend to anyone else coming out this way.

The first thing we noticed when we walked into Katie’s home was how beautifully decorated it is. A lot of old Hawaii touches. It looks more like a home than a vacation rental. The house is fully stocked. You have all the amenities you could need and then some. It’s clear she cares about making her guests stay as pleasant as possible. And not to forget the view. It’s gorgeous! Overlooking the ocean, the view is awesome. None of the condos here overlook a parking lot. Sitting on the lanai with a cup of coffee in the morning or eating dinner watching the sunset can’t be beat. And going up on the rooftop for a barbecue is a must! The view is nothing short or spectacular. If you like Indian food, Monsoon is on the ground floor of the complex. Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had and certainly the best on the island. This is my 10th visit to the island and Katie’s condo is one of the best places I’ve stayed in.

We were visiting Maui for a friends wedding and Katie’s condo was an amazing spot for us to stay. We loved the central location, amenities, and that it was literally right on the beach. Katie's condo was absolutely wonderful. It had everything we needed and wanted, and more (even laundry, such a plus). The view from the master bedroom and lanai is just amazing. There is always a lovely breeze blowing that keeps everything cool and comfortable. The condo complex is very nice too, with a great pool and located right on some great beaches (with sea turtles!). Kihei is a great location, centrally located so it's easy to get to everything. There are great restaurants and shops nearby as well. We would definitely stay here again when back on Maui.

If you have any hesitations, it's time to put them aside. This is the best place to stay in Maui. The condo is immaculate and feels like home away from home. The beds are comfortable and all appliances are top notch. There is a fish pond nearby with the best beach around..turtles everywhere!! My kids loved every second of the stay. Great property with an exceptional owner. I chose this property based on previous reviews, and they did not disappoint. I feel Katie went above and beyond to ensure our family had a successful trip, communicating multiple times before our stay to provide useful information. The property is just as described in the pictures, even more beautiful in person. In my opinion this property is centrally located to all things Maui, not overly populated with other tourist, has a great beaches for everyday play and sightseeing of seeing sea turtles - we saw at least 12+ turtles everyday with several on the beach every morning.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing to wake up to every day. The unit was comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach and surf brake worked out well for just hanging out. It was also nice to take a stroll in the morning. We did not eat at the Indian restaurant but did eat at Coconuts in Kihe and would definitely recommend the fish tacos.

This property was an ideal Hawaii local. Amazing views, quiet area with all you need near by and easy drive to some of the more populated touristy areas.
The condo had everything we needed and I can’t say enough about the responsiveness and kindness of Katie. She had great recommendations and really cares about making sure you have a great experience.
There is a walled in swimming area that is shallow and protected. Perfect for young ocean explores. Every morning we walked out to see the sea turtles sunning on the rock wall and swimming. The pool and grounds are well maintained and the staff working there are also kind and helpful. We enjoyed barbecuing at night and having our meals on the lanai. There’s plenty of quiet beach space to explore that is not overly crowded.

If there was Air- conditioning especially in the bedrooms and a tea pot, it would have been perfect! Though it really cools down like the owner says if you leave the doors and windows for ventilation. We just had our son sleeping in the living room so could not keep the outside door totally open for privacy sake. Please visit this apartment as the view from the Lanai is priceless and it is a clean modern apartment centrally located to shops, dining and activities not to mention the airport. Wonderful condo! Can't really say enough about the location and the amenities. The view, the beach, the pool, the rooftop - all great! We stayed for a week with our two boys 9 and 7. All of us enjoyed our stay immensely. Katie is a very gracious host from making check-in a breeze, to providing everything you need to be comfortable, plus additional items to use on the beach, in the surf, toys and games for the kids...the list goes on. This condo was perfect our family. The view is even better than in the photos. The beach is right there! And, if we didn't want to walk we enjoyed the view from the comfortable lanai. Inside the condo there was everything you could ask for -- well stocked kitchen, boogie boards, lots of beach towels, lawn chairs and a cooler! As we made a few trips to beaches to snorkel - the chairs, towels and cooler were welcome. The condo is beautifully decorated as well. Lots of attention to detail. Loved the handwritten note and fresh fruit that greeted us upon our arrival. We barbecued in both barbecue areas -- poolside and rooftop. New barbecues had just been installed and they worked great. The view from the rooftop area is spectacular. The washer and dryer came in handy to wash towels and clothes after snorkel trips. And, there was a good supply of detergent and fabric softener on hand which saved us some $$$. A previous reviewer mentioned the lack of air conditioning. We found that all of the ceiling fans worked very well to create a comfortable airflow through the unit. We kept the door open and the screen door closed when we were in the unit and it was quite comfortable. A word about snorkeling in the lagoon right beside the unit. It is shallow, the bottom is rocky and visibility is not very good. However, we swam way out to the reef (you can see it on Google satellite images) and this was the most incredible snorkeling we experienced on the island. We saw many sea turtles, lots of colorful fish and even an octopus! Restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy are all nearby, and the complex is very well maintained and clean. Would stay here again without hesitation.

My wife and I spent a week at Katie's place celebrating our 20th year anniversary. We had a comfortable and placent time at the condo. It had all accommodations just like being at home. It was great having breakfast in the lanai facing the beautiful ocean. This unit is located close to stores and restaurants. If we are coming back to Maui, we are planning to contact Katie again. We are presently staying at the condo as we speak. We have been here almost two weeks. It is absolutely beautiful. The pictures are accurate. The condo is very very clean. It is a great location to head into Lahaina for the day/evening and a day trip to Kaanapali. Close to restaurants, stores and the airport..
We had the pleasure of meeting Katie while we were here. She is a great manager. We had a bit of a problem with the washer, but sent a repairman out immediately.
We are hoping to visit again and we will definitely stay here.

Great location and comfortable condo. The deck was the best part. It was nice to just sit out there and watch the ocean. The swimming pool was heated and made for relaxing night time swims. Good for kids. There was also a fish pond that is good for triathlon open water swimming if you are in to that. It's pretty shallow in the morning though with the low tide. Minutes to Molokini snorkeling. You have to do that if you go. Red line charters was the best. Condo was clean and well stocked with everyday household items. Close to stores, restaurants, etc. if you are planning on staying in south Maui this is a great economical place to stay. Much better than a hotel.

We stayed here for a week in November and it was one of the better places we have ever stayed that wasn't a resort property (better than some as has a full kitchen to reduce on food costs). From the comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, amazing views, stocked bathroom amenities and our wonderful host Katie, this is certainly a place we will visit again. We arrived to a lovely fruit basket and welcoming note for our family. Katie stopped by the following morning just to ensure we had everything we needed. Not intrusive in any way. We had a late flight home and Katie gave us a late checkout so we were able to relax on our final day. Only one downside and that was the heat was a little much on a couple of days, with high humidity and no tradewinds, but we closed the balcony security bars half way to shield from the sun, but allowing air flow thru the railing and used the fans. A/C would have made this a perfect 10! Nothing beats the quiet, peaceful sounds of the ocean waves to lull you to sleep or enjoying a tea on the lanai. Thank you Katie for everything!

The condo is beautiful, it has everything you need and more. The views from this condo are breath taking you will not be disappointed. From the first contact we had in the booking process to the follow up after we had returned home Katie was great to work with. We have been to the islands several times, and cant recall a better place! During our 10-day stay, this was a spotless, well cared for condo - and well stocked, also (Be sure to check supplies before you go shopping, because it's very possible the items you need are already there) We were also very impressed at how well the condo grounds were cared for and maintained. Beach was a few steps away for morning and evening walks. Communications with Katie were EXCELLENT - if you needed anything!!!! We would/will definately stay at this Condo again (i'm already trying to book for next Spring - just dont know what time we can get off work yet...and are afraid it will be booked at the time we need, since it's such a great place to stay - LOVE the views!!!)

The GREAT:
- Morning coffee’s on the lanai with a great view of the beach and the sound of the ocean waves
- We felt like locals staying in this condo not just tourists in a big chain hotel
- A great beach for morning walks
- Very quiet – no noise issues
- Condo had lots of amenities i.e.: pots/pans, beach gear, towels, shampoo etc.
- Condo on 2nd floor – nice quick walk up the stairs (the elevator was a bit slow)
- Good value for the money when compared to the other crazy expensive accommodations on the island
- Safe – we never felt unsafe at any time or worried about belongings
- Awesome sunsets out your front lanai window
- Scrapbook of Island information and activities was a great resource and there was also a guidebook for use in the condo.
- Rooftop BBQ facilities – watch the sunset and cook your dinner, a unique experience!
- Katie was very professional and responsive to any requests or questions we had.
- The condo had cozy, island décor that made it feel like home
- Maui is a beautiful Island with lots of to do and explore.
The GOOD:
- The condo was clean and it had lots of cleaning supplies for upkeep
- Location – it was a close drive to everything. We put 1600 km’s on our rental vehicle over 12 days – we explored every nook and cranny of the island. Lots of fun!
The “NOT SO GOOD":
- When there is no trade winds the condo can get really hot. We had a thermometer on our backpack and a couple of the nights it got to 27-28 degrees celsius in the main bedroom as we slept. The portable fans and ceiling fans were the only mercy. We tried to embrace this as it is part of living like a local but it was a struggle at times. When the trade winds are blowing from the NE the condo does cool down to reasonable levels as long as you get the air moving.
OUR OVERALL RATING:
- 8.5/10 – a pretty awesome place!

Everything was excellent: the condo itself, the location, the environment. We found everything we needed in the condo and even more than we exected: for cooking, for the beach... When we arrived we found a wonderful view and a very friendly welcome card with fruit. We were very sad when we had to leave.
