Great location across the street from the ocean. The unit itself was outdated compared to other units in the complex. Towel bars are falling apart, dresser drawers are unhinged, and beds are really small and uncomfortable.

We found the property to be very convenient to access all of the beaches, golf courses, restaurants and shopping we wanted. The balcony view over the parking lot wasn't a problem. The sunsets and view of the ocean were very nice. The AC units in the rooms were adequate, but we found that the fans were all we needed by opening the big sliding windows and using the locking screen door at the back of the unit. We would definitely go again.

I have rented numerous VRBO‘s in the past and it was easy to do on VRBO but then I’ve got all kinds of emails from a management company where I had to do extra contracts and sign on all kinds of documents. Then arrived at the building parked in the proper parking spot, and then was told via a threatening note on my windshield that I was not supposed to be there. this rude property manager comes out and tells me that I’m not supposed to be in there because he knows the owner and his wife is the cleaner. My response as well. I am staying there. I have the access code. Then he had no response. This is the same gentleman that was absolutely rude to me my friend and other kids are in the pool. He came out screaming at the kids for jumping in the pool. If I own this unit I would immediately get rid of this property management company.

Pros:- location, location! Right across the K3 beach which is an amazing beach, beautiful sand, spacious beach with a bathroom, rinse station, swings for kids, lots of picnic tables/bbq to use. The most gorgeous susnsets!! Easy to get with a a crosswalk to help you cross the road from the condo to the beach. Also lots of restaurants/ touristy shops in walking distance from the unit. - easy parking however the spaces are tight. - fully equipped kitchen that provided ample dishes and cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster etc. No cooking supplies like oil provided but you may find some items left behind from previous guests such as salt and pepper, dishwashing tablets etc- has a decent stacked laundry which was handy esp when travelling with kids. - we had read some negative recent review re: the resident manager on site. We had the opposite experience with Johnnie Blevins. He was always friendly and smiling to us when we saw him. We found his rules to be very reasonable. You can see he works hard as we’ve seen him scrubbing away dirt in the lobby and cleaning things around the property. You can tell he takes pride in taking care of this older building to the best of his capabilities. We had no issues with him whatsoever. Cons:- unit 215 could’ve been cleaner. It is slightly dated but we knew that with seeing the pictures. Upon arrival, the floors were quite dirty/sticky. Turns your socks black! Also needs more dusting as surfaces and counters were dirty and dusty. We did a good 1 hr deep clean ourselves just for our peace of mind. - poor sound proofing. This really isn’t the unit’s fault as it’s a building issue and how it was built in the 70’s. You will hear people walking past your unit, furniture moving from above units, the busy road in front of the building, and birds chirping by 6am. This really didn’t bother us but I can see it can be for others. -only one s

Everything about this location was great! We awoke to the glistening ocean and saw the sunset over the beach before going to bed. The property was clean. The kitchen contained all the items we needed to prepare meals. Stores, restaurants and activities were a short walk away and the beach was across the street. I loved sitting on the balcony with my coffee or a drink after dinner and enjoying being in Maui. Excellent property.

This condo was perfect for us. It had everything we needed, a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of space for a family of four, the A/C in the bedrooms kept it cold for sleeping and the fans in the living were great during the day. The beach is just steps away, it was great to be able to come back to the condo for lunch between swims. And Kam III is a great beach! We also loved eating dinner on the balcony. It's a great condo, we would definitely stay here again.

We appreciate that there are twin beds in one of the rooms, so our kids don't have to share a bed or sleep on the couch (although there is a sofa bed). Location was great, definitely a bummer you can’t check in until 4:00 and have to be out by 11:00. No actual air conditioning in the unit we didn’t realize until we checked in. They had the blinds wide open and the sun blaring in the place was SUPER hot when we got there! Would’ve been nice to know there were already beach towels and chairs so we didn’t have to purchase any. Also only vacation rental we’ve stayed in that didn’t even have condiments in the fridge. Overall nice place and location. Literally the beach is right across the street. Would stay again knowing what I know now.

The location was great, overall the condo was good, biggest issue is that when we arrived the roof of the bathroom was ripped out due to a leak the day before we arrived. We were offered to stay at another location after we had moved in that was an inferior location. We accepted that workers needed to come in, the bathroom had a bit of a smell in it and we needed to move some equipment around. We had asked for, were promised and anticipated a credit. After following up we were told we would receive a credit of $ 280 on a bill that was over $ 4,500. We dealt with the property manager who seemed to handle this for the owner. There were property management fees and VRBO fees so overall we rate the experieence as awful. This is the only time we have had a bad experience in renting in the Maui Parkshore. We are still trying to resolve the credit that should be given to us. Very disappointing!!!

My only complaint is the beds aren't very comfortable and we have bruises on our shins from hitting the bed frame repeatedly. But the place was equipped with all beach things you could possibly want, towels, beach boards, chairs, ect. The location was amazing and the kitchen had most things you might need (no condiments).

When we first arrived everything was clean and organized. We also had all of our basic Necessities available for us and in sight. There was a beautiful beach right across the street and plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The place was quiet and well maintained. We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone traveling to Maui!

My family of 5 enjoyed this condo very much! It was clean, stocked with the essentials and most importantly right across the street from the beach! My two teenagers walked to the beach every day to enjoy the surf and the sunsets. My only critique is the family room/kitchen was warm even with the ceiling fans on however the bedrooms had AC which made sleeping comfortable. We hope to be back next year!

So, I hate to be hard on this unit, but it needs better property management. Here are a list of issues I ran into:1) standing stinky water in the dishwasher2) sofa bed was super dusty inside...looked like it hadn’t been opened and cleaned in ages3) pillow protectors and sheet protectors under sheets were stained...eww.4) oven had steam rising out of back of stove when roasting broccoli5) super loud air conditioners in bedrooms, no a/c in main living area. This was stated but didn’t realize how loud.6) on the one hand unit was stocked with some Saran Wrap, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. These were fairly generous, not the samples in some condos we’ve rented. But the pantry was basically empty (even salt shaker was empty), and only one potholder. For a family that wants to cook, there were decent supplies of pots/pans/etc., but all condiments had to be purchased (and then tossed when couldn’t finish). I’m guessing this is covid-related cleaning protocol? Hopefully that explains.7) sweeping up at end, found a dead cockroach under the bed.8) light bulbs in bathrooms flicker.Also, I called service on dishwasher after never using it before. First time opened door, it stunk so bad I shut immediately due to standing water. I called service at 9pm. Got a call back next day 1pm (missed this call). Once I called back, and was clear I didn’t wanna deal with the stinky mess in dishwasher, they sent a maintenance guy out pretty quickly. The guy ran a cycle and drained the dishwasher and said give it a try. That night, opened dishwasher, stunk still (even w/o water). No way I’m eating on dishes coming out of that dishwasher. Got pretty grump washing dishes manually for 2 weeks.Also, the parking is incredibly tight. You have to be pretty good at backing into tight spaces.The thing is, most of this isn’t the owner’s fault. This unit is spacious, clean, and well outfitted. It has a wonderfully large lanai where we ate most of our meals. We had our family of 6 adults staying and it never felt crowded. It was nice to have air conditioning in the rooms and there were lots of fans in the main area to make the temperature reasonable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We were very happy with the unit. It was a 1 minute walk to cross the street to go to the beach and a 5 to 10 minute walk to get to a variety of restaurants. About the only thing that wasn't within walking distance was a grocery store. But we had a car and loaded up with groceries at Costco and Walmart which were a 25 a minute drive away. There was a Foodland about a 5 minutes drive away but it was more expensive when you are feeding 6. We have stayed across from Charlie Young, Kamaole 2 and now, Kamaole 3. Kamaole 3 seemed to be the busiest of the 3 beaches. There was still space on the beach, but we were closer to other groups than we were at the other beaches. It was a beautiful and wonderful beach that had some great snorkelling and swimming with turtles and fish and a great spot to watch the sunset from.The management were courteous and quick to respond and take care of it when one of the ceiling fans had a problem. Overall we had a great time at this spacious condo and would definitely stay here again. The price was right, the location great, and the unit was wonderful.

As others have stated this condo comes very well equipped, the kids loved the sand toys and bodyboards, and we had everything we needed to prepare meals, the location is really nice, across the street from the beach and plenty of restaurants and markets nearby. It is on the second floor and there is only one elevator on the opposite side of the complex, we only really needed it when we arrived with all the luggage and after returning from the supermarket, otherwise the stairs are nearby and convenient. There is no AC and it does get hot in the afternoons, we only really spent one afternoon in the condo as we were always out enjoying the island but if you plan to spend a lot of afternoon time in the condo this is a consideration. The refrigerator had a water leak it was minor so we didn't call maintance but the top shelf would collect water overnight that needed to be wiped up in the morning. Our only disappointment was the cleanliness of the floor after walking barefoot inside for about 5 min when we arrived everyone had dark dirty feet, I think they forgot to mop, so we all kept of flip flops on at all times. Overall this is a nice, convinient place to enjoy Maui.

The condo was very equipped with necessary kitchen appliances. The bathroom toilets were not functioning well but the bathrooms are updated. During the mid afternoons it was very hot not having an air condition unit but the blinds and the ceiling fans helped a little. However the best part is the view is amazing and the distance to the beach were the highlight. Very convenient. Stores were close by. The only other disappointment was parking if you have more than one vehicle there is no extra parking. Overall it was suitable.

The property was everything and more than we expected, very busy road but did not affect the location at all. Size was perfect, very clean all round, plenty of equipment for cooking both inside and outside. The deck was fantastic, enjoyed breakfast outside very morning and used for dinner most nights. We met a few people at BBQ when we cooked and everyone was very friendly and most of them have been coming back years, so that is an advert in its self. Location for the beach was excellent, 2 minute walk to see the famous sunset, beach was busy but always plenty of room.

The condo was perfect for the needs of our party of four. The location is excellent and the furnishings were okay. The beds were comfortable. The negatives were a 'neighbor' who left us a 'keep quiet' note and I know we were not the noisy ones. The lighting in the kitchen was terrible. Lovely renovated unit and convenient on 2nd floor near stairs. Manager very helpful and professional. Well equipped with extra towels, sheets, beach chairs. The master is large enough to accommodate a king bed and that is only feedback for improvement! We would definitely rent again (if price stays reasonable.. :) )

We really like the location of the Maui Parkshore - we have stayed here twice before, in owner-rented condos. This apartment seemed pretty sterile and there were minimal amenities (would have preferred more dish soap and to have laundry soap rather than shampoo/conditioner/lavender soap in the bathrooms). The furniture was uncomfortable, though the layout was roomy. It would have been more convenient to have the condo rental payable by credit card (which is how we have done it 3 times before) rather than by check. It seemed like there were a lot of nit-picky rules laid out by the rental company. Also, we had a sick kid the first day and were trying to see if we could get into the condo an hour early so he could sleep, but there was no answer from the on-site building manager, and the office person who promised he would check with the cleaning staff never got back to us.

We just loved this place. Very modern and clean with lots of new appliances. We had another couple stay on the couch/sofa sleeper for a few nights and they said it was very comfortable. We grilled fish and steaks a couple nights as the sun was setting by the gas grills beachfront. Everyone in the complex was very friendly and lots of parking, so you were not searching for a spot at night. Centrally located condo as well, 20 minutes in Lahaina and 15 to Makena, 20 min to airport. We will definately be back! Very recomended!
