We had a lovely time at the Kona Makai. It doesn’t disappoint. John was very easy to communicate with and the condo was very comfortable for our stay.

Great spot to chill if you’re visiting Kona, the complex has a pool and there is seating next to the ocean. Two miles to town, we walked a couple of times

Great proximity to diving all water activities food and Kailua Kona clean quiet beautiful location Hot Tub amenities were awesome. Great sunsets I hundred percent recommend his condo for anyone. Looking to snorkel dive Surf eat drink and just overall have fun.

This unit was perfect for our stay. Everything was super clean and in good working order. The kitchen has everything you need to cook any meal. The washer/dryer was a great feature for our longer stay. Lots of seating inside, it was nice to relax. The balcony seating was a plus for lounging and outdoor meals. The complex itself had a very nice pool, hot tub, BBQ area and seating right by the ocean. We’d recommend this unit to couples or families. Can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay.

Quiet gated community, close all of the many things to do in Kailua-Kona town. Condo was better than the pictures describe. Very comfortable bed, modern plantation feel, kitchen stocked with plenty of housewares if you plan to cook. Nice sized lanai. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice sunset viewing spot by the ocean. Quiet (no roosters), good location, about 30 minutes from Two Step snorkeling (be there by 8 for parking)!

What can I say. This was a perfectly located property. The condo itself was great and was stocked with nearly every you could need. The host did a great job of thinking about the extras —- there were extension cords and plugs everywhere with usb for the digital folks. Plenty of extra towels and necessities. Plenty of dishes and cooking utilities.
When a tiny issue came up the host was super attentive and responsive.
Only thing to be aware of is think twice if you have young children. The HOA seems to be VERY (overly?) sensitive about noise. Was not a problem for us but I did hear our neighbors get “shushed” repeatedly by another property while using the veranda. Aside from that, amazing property!
