Bay Villas is an extraordinary condo rental property adjacent to the Montage. We have visited this property every year for the last 6-7 years. Although I like the two story, one bedroom layout better than this single story lay out, it is still an extraordinary vacation home!

We have been spending time in Kapalua at the Bay Villas for years and love the area. Building 34 is a great oceanfront location and just a short walk away from Kapalua Beach and Oneola Beach. The rugged shoreline is beautiful and fun to explore. We enjoyed all the green space and walking trails. The condo was clean and as advertised. The view is breathtaking and we saw dozens of breaching whales during our stay. Would highly recommend.

We love to travel in February to Maui , during peak whale season. I always try to get a good picture of the accommodation before I book, this time I failed. There were only few reviews , all only positive .First thing after arriving was stepping outside to greet the ocean , location was great. But the condition of the outside furniture was ridiculously bad. The table was broken, the chairs rotten. The laundromat and dryer were the oldest I ever saw. Dryer sometimes didn’t work. Bed was medium , kitchen sink old , partly broken. Modern were fridge and television. Thanks god we immediately get into Aloha mood on Maui so we enjoyed every minute anyway. Even the cockroaches (3 during our 10 day stay) didn’t bother us much. The nature, ocean, wildlife were wonderful as always. I hope the unit really gets an upgrade that deserves the name to also justify the price . We will come back next year but I will consult the helpful staff of Aloha vacation and communicate our expectations before we book. Ursula and Michael

If you've never had that "don't pinch me I don't want to wake up" feeling, you will feel it if you stay here. The property has that luxe feel you would expect at a 5-star hotel, which perhaps is unsurprising as it is sandwiched between the Ritz and Montage - two of the fanciest hotels on the island. It feels like you are staying at both of them at the same time - because you can freely use most of the facilities at either place - with the added benefit of having the privacy of your own "home". This is especially good for folks who enjoy cooking some meals and also if you have one infant / toddler (like us). Additionally, “check in” and “check out” are entirely contact free. Unless you have a problem (we did not) you never have to talk to anyone, feel watched by anyone or feel guilty that you don’t have any cash on hand to tip someone. There is a supermarket in Napili (10 min drive) where you can stock up on any food you might need for your stay. If you love poke then make the effort to visit Tamura’s Fine Wine & Liquors - trust me. Be sure to snorkel with the sea turtles either at Kapalua Bay Beach (10 min walk) or Honolua Bay (15 min drive north). If you are an adventurous driver – take the North route to the Iao Needle – a huge stone taller than the Eiffel Tower – situated in a sacred valley. There is so much natural beauty in Maui – hard to do it justice in this short review. The only downside to staying here is that it is at the extreme north-west of the island, so if you want to experience the Road to Hana then you must plan in advance because that is a long round-trip, especially if you are on a short visit. We stayed for 10+ days so had plenty of time to drive around and Kapalua is really the nicest place to stay in Maui. We feel very privileged to have stayed here. Enjoy your trip!

The place was perfect. Easy to find and get settled. No issues with the code or parking. Had everything - full kitchen, washer/dryer and a fold out couch for the teenagers. We literally walked to the beach and pool everyday. Could stay there for a month or more and next time probably will.

We have stayed at a lot of Kapalua condos over the years, and this one has been absolutely wonderful. You can walk right out from the patio to 4 incredible beaches (we saw sea turtles at two). I can imagine that during humpback season you could literally watch them breach from the living room. The room was perfect for our family. The kids slept on the foldout and we had a king bed. We could tell the management company is different than the other condos we stayed at - room was clean and had high end toiletries. Also the room had everything we needed - dish soap, laundry soap, etc. Another thing we really liked about this condo is the pool is right in front of the building, so we could go to the beach and then take a dip in the pool after. Also we grilled at the pool area since it’s tough to get a reservation in Maui these days. Highly recommend this place and will definitely book it again.
