Spent two weeks here and enjoyed every minute. All the comforts of home in paradise. Nice to be only a few steps from your car, grill and also the pool and cliffs for sunset. All main beaches are an easy 10 min walk away. Looking forward to another extended stay in the future.

We were very comfortable in this spacious 2 bedroom condo. The kitchen was well equipped, having everything we needed to cook all our meals. It was a short walk to either Poipu or Shipwreck beach; it was also possible to watch the sunset from the grassy area just past the pool.
We really appreciated the detailed instructions sent to us, which made our late night arrival easy.

We had a great stay! The location is excellent. The property amenities were very nice. The condo was quiet, comfortable and well equipped. There are beach towels/chairs/cooler to use. The condo unit is a ground floor, so you don't get the trade wind breezes. The ceiling fans were running the entire time, but they are not high enough velocity. We ended up purchasing a Vornado fan at Walmart to help move the air better. Would love to have had blackout curtains on the primary bedroom as there are outdoor property lights on all night.

We had a great stay at Pete and Jerry’s winter vacation home! Pete made sure we had all the details for our arrival a full 2weeks ahead of our stay. The property amenities were very nice-heated salt water pool; hot jetted spa; newly updated BBQ area; tennis court and lovely area to take in the waves crashing on Makahuena point. Saw sea turtles and whales from this vantage point. A easy 1.5 km walk to Poipu Beach one way and about 2 km along the coast to Shipwreck Beach the other direction. The condo was quiet, comfortable and well equipped. Since the condo location is a bit tucked in amongst a couple buildings, the trade winds didn’t really help with cooling us off at night. The ceiling fans were running the entire time. It would be helpful to have a couple more high velocity type oscillating fans to help move the air for comfort.
This is a great location to take in all that the south coast has to offer and is a quick half hour from Lihue and the airport. I look forward to returning in the future.

We loved the lawn access and the ocean view from the patio. The grounds were well kept and the location was great. The unit was spacious, well laid out, and well-equipped.
We were unlucky with some loud and obnoxious upstairs neighbors a few nights. There was a strong musty smell in this apartment. The beds were clean, but we noticed that every other surface and object in this unit needed a thorough cleaning.

My wife and I stayed here for a month and found it quite nice for the value. This property is a nice size and located close to the ocean.it is a little dated and needs a little work but is excellent value for the dollar. The host was very accommodating and took care of issues quickly. Definitely recommend this condo

We had a real nice 9-night stay in this spacious two-bedroom condo. Everything you need for a stay of this length is provided. The kitchen is updated, and the bedrooms are definitely large enough. Given the unit is on the ground floor there is no balcony, but the small patio is nice for sitting out on warm nights. It is walking distance to Poipu beach and a few local restaurants. Sunset views are spectacular and only about 75 steps from the condo. Sunrise can also be seen from the other side of the condo buildings and the wave action on the lava shoreline is impressive. The start of the Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail is just outside the condo complex and is certainly worth checking out.
All in all we were very happy with our stay in this unit.

Good value property. Pros: pretty lanai with view of ocean (esp when you moved chair a few feet); well stocked kitchen; extra fans in closets; wonderful maintenance man Frank who stopped by next day after I alerted owners that the sliding screen wasn’t working properly; attentive owners; 2 beach chairs in closet; washer dryer in unit; excellent wi-fi; 30 second walk to benches overlooking Pacific (stunningly beautiful!) A few watch outs : like many Kauai properties, no air conditioning which was hard on my 80 year old parents (I was fine); ground floor unit so at night we felt we needed to close the sliding glass doors to prevent theft which made the unit very hot overnight even with fans. Coffee maker takes the cone shape filters (not the flat bottomed filters); bring your own salt and pepper.
Great tip from Frank - The Hyatt hotel has a restaurant- Terrace- which has nightly entertainment and is surprisingly good value for dinner for Kauai - and you don’t need reservations.

The condo has two good size bedrooms. The kitchen is well stock closed to Brennecke's beach and Poipu. Loved having coffee on the patio and enjoying the view of the ocean. The breeze was amazing. If you leave the doors in the master bedroom and living room cracked the breeze cools the condo. Nice walk to Shipwreck Beach. Beach towels and regular towels are available. An ice maker was a plus. You get some detergent and dishwasher soap. Restrooms had soap. One roll of paper towels was provided and three rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. I had a very nice stay. If I get the opportunity to go back, I will try to stay there again.

The condo was clean and well kept. No air conditioning but helpful to keep windows open for the breeze. The sliding screen doors were the only thing that were a problem. Them were very hard to open and close and kept coming off the tracks. The place came with beach chairs and towels which were very helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Great location in Poipu, with water views on the patio, the ocean is just a small walk away. Close to the beaches and food options. Condo size is comfortable and well stocked. Loved having morning coffee on the patio or on the chairs at the oceans edge. Definitely would stay here again and hosts were very accommodating.

Our stay was comfortable and relaxing as the unit is easily accessible given its ease of entry onto the property grounds, including the pool and ocean views. Our needs (some at late hours) were quickly and courteously addressed by the property owner and house-keeping service, and thus would not hesitate to book again should an opportunity present itself.
