We would not recommend, to start arriving after sunset and there was no porch light left on but it would still not matter since the bulb was burnt out. Code might not require a hand rail but there should be one inside the condo. This is just a start. A dedicated parking spot doesn’t doing any good when other people park in it because nothing is done about the problem .

I’m sorry to post this now given the terrible state the island is currently in, but someday soon Maui will reemerge as the beautiful paradise that we adore and I’d like the next family to know what they’re getting themselves into.We’ve stayed at Wailea Palms multiple times over the years and this condo was by far our least favorite. The place is old, with dingy walls, old furniture inside and on the balcony and little cooling. There’s a single ac unit in the master which is clearly listed on the Rentals Maui listing. Word of advice, be careful if you cross shop this unit on Vrbo because the listing title on there is misleading re: air conditioning. The moment you walk in there is an immediate dusty smell compounded by the “decorative” straw hats hanging near the front door. The kitchen is newer and well stocked. However the bedrooms and bathrooms were both dirty when we walked in. We found a bikini hanging in the shower, dirty floors and a layer of grime/sunblock on most surfaces. The toilet in the master bedroom is behind a heavy sliding mirrored door, and shares the space with the water heater and other storage. The most jarring part was the second room with the pull out bed. I was preparing the room for my kids, but when I pulled out the sofa bed there was a large brown stain on the mattress. The team at Maui Rentals was quick to remedy and offered an air mattress, but our experience was already soured. The unit had little beach gear- 2 newer chairs and one old, torn and completely disgusting third chair that was useless. There was also no beach umbrella, so I ended up purchasing a large Tommy Bahama umbrella from home depot and left it in the unit upon our departure. Thankfully, the unit had 5 beach towels though, so that was ok. There were no coolers or beach toys for the kids. Wailea Palms is a great location and the proximity to the pool is a plus. The place is close to all resorts in the area that are basically news vs Lahaina very beautiful place perfect location . Great vacations!

My wife, kids, and I had such an amazing time staying at this place. Its a very quiet area but walkable (less than a mile) to the mall and Island Gourmet grocery store. It is very spacious and comfortable as well which was great for a rest/read books/hang out at home day. A+!

This was my 7th time to Maui and this was my favorite place I have stayed at to date! It was the first daddy / son vacation and we both loved this accommodation! There was plenty of room and close to everything we needed from the pool to the beach to restaurants. Plus the amazing lanai with a BBQ made it great for the stay in night and making supper. We have already talked about coming back to stay here again! I would recommend it to everyone!
