This air conditioned east shore Kauai vacation rental on the Royal Coconut Coast at Wailua Bay View 302 is perfect for your romantic getaway. The beach is right in front. Literally right in front. You've got a perfect beach and ocean view that extends all the way across Wailua Bay. Just follow the stairs and you're on the sand in about two minutes. Shopping and dining are practically on your doorstep. It's only a couple minutes walk to sushi, burgers, or pizza, there's a convenience store quite close, and other shopping and dining choices are nearby too. The main shopping area in old Kapa'a, chock full of adorable shops, local crafts, great places to eat, is two miles away. You can hoof it if you'd like, it takes a half hour at a pretty good call for an uber, if you don't have a rental car. Centrally located so you can easily explore the whole you decide to just stay in and enjoy the private lanai and comfortable bed and work on your tan at the beach!
This beach view one bedroom, one bath condo on the top floor has a private lanai overlooking Wailua Bay. There's endless entertainment watching the waves, the surfers, monk seals, and even whales. If you fancy a stroll or a swim, it's just moments to head down to the beach, literally just feet from your door. The Wailua River is only minutes away if you plan on taking a boat ride to Fern Grotto or paddling a kayak upriver.
You'll find one bedroom with a comfortable king bed, and equipped with air conditioning. There's a full bathroom with tub and shower. The living room is comfortably furnished and you'll find an office desk and printer to make it convenient if it's going to be a working vacation. There's bar seating for two at the kitchen counter. For your entertainment, there's free wifi, and a large flat screen television. Washer and dryer provided in the unit. AIR CONDITIONING is available in the master bedroom you probably won't need it. With the lanai sliding glass door open, the ocean breezes come through and keep the entire condo refreshingly cool. Traditional island decor and soothing colors compliment the spectacular panoramic ocean view from your lanai. Complex amenities include a recently renovated pool, gas grills, and free parking (one car only!). This central location on the Coconut Coast makes travel to the north or south shore a convenient day trip without too much driving.

This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators.
Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

The condo was clean except all carpets were filthy. The garbage disposal ran water from the bottom the day after we arrived. We cleaned up the water & put a pan under it & it was never fixed. It was wonderful having a washer & dryer.

The rental was clean and in good shape. The bedroom was warm but did have a fan. The view was very nice but it is close to the main road and there is very loud traffic all day and night.

The stairs up to the 3rd floor are arduous. The maid was still cleaning when we arrived. The maid [supervisor] could not get the door code to work so we sat on the stairs and sat and sat. Could not get thru to anyone for wi-fi codes--finally got a call back,
Finally the maid learned the trick to the door code and in we went, Awesome view of the ocean. Interesting watching the homeless who were camped on the beach next door building bonfires, arguing and ranting,, Again, the stairs are KILLER. Really appreciated the laundry and all the kitchen perks.
Slept like logs--very good bed and very quiet.
Would we stay here again? Perhaps on a ground floor rental. The manager is a super nice guy: so positive and accomodating.
Traffic along Kuhio is bumper-to-bumper 8AM-4 ish road construction.

The condo was fine, except for the temperature. The bedroom has ac, but that’s it. Normally that’s fine with the wind coming in from the ocean, but the way this building is set up, this unit misses all the wind. There are multiple fans around and we cranked them all up whenever we were in the condo. It was just moving hot air around though. We ended up finding a different place to stay after two nights.

Condo was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for a week stay. Ocean view was amazing off the lanai. AC in bedroom was loud but worked well. Beach access is close and pool area nice. Only down side is noise, you can hear highway noise at night and early morning.
