Property is newly remodel and amazingly clean. Location is perfect. It’s right next to Hilton village, lagoon and the beach. Walking distance to a lot of things. Check in is easy. Beds are comfortable. Just one suggestion: for week long stay, please provide enough toilet papers.

We loved the condo! Modern, very clean, lively open city view, loads of storage space so it didn't look like 3 adults had their stuff everywhere! The Ilikai is situated at the beginning of Waikiki which is perfect for outings to Honolulu or further into Waikiki. 100% satisfied with our nearly 2 week stay!

Description is as described on listing --updated, beautiful & close to everything. Check-in and check-out was easy. Property is close to elevator and laundry room. No sunset view but the city view is just as nice day or night. We had some shower drainage issue, took a few days to get it taken cared of by maintenance, after the first notice of issue. However, we did not let that bother our vacation. It is a minor thing. Overall, we had the best memories here.

It was a great property in a lively neighborhood with everything nearby. The upgrades were done well and we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had everything we need (a few more pot spoons and a spatula would be nice) to make breakfast before leaving for the day. The laundry facilities on the floor were perfect as they were clean and convenient. The ice cream shop in the lobby was where most of our days ended. LoL We would highly recommend this unit.

We stayed here for a few nights to acclimate to the time zone before adventuring out to other islands. We had 2 adults, a six year old, and a four year old. It was a great space!
The mattresses were firm and comfortable (HUGE plus!). The room was bright, clean, and quiet, but the curtains did a pretty good job blocking light when we were sleeping. There was some noise from the street at night, but nothing a white noise machine couldn’t drown out. We made multiple meals there and had ample kitchenware.
The beach and lagoon were less than a 5 minute walks. The lobby includes a general store, ice cream shop, coffee shop, and restaurant (among other things).
The mall is less than a 15 minute walk and there is an ABC store across the street.
If we find ourselves staying in Honolulu again, I will definitely check this listing first!

We were mostly satisfied with our stay and the condition of the rental. It fit our needs as far as comfort, size and proximity to the event we were attending. However, even though the unit has a full kitchen it is not set up for any kind of actual cooking. Due to food allergies and a multiple week stay we needed to cook our own food but the kitchen lacked most basic cooking supplies. The unit was nice and clean when we arrived except for a weird sweet unpleasant smell in all the cupboards and drawers. The Ilikai property itself is aging and on the edge of a run down part of Honolulu with near proximity to many areas with homeless camps. If you don’t mind an inner big city experience and can travel to other areas for that peaceful Hawaiian paradise type experience it’s an ok place to stay. Plan to pay valet charges if you have a car as there is no (free) parking nearby. Then add extra time if you leave as the valet drive is extra busy. It was also unfortunate that the Ilikai chose to have the tile removed in their entrance during the height of the summer tourist season adding to the chaos of the valet drive and entrance.

Looked good in the pictures. Was okay for the price but it wasn’t what we were expecting. Had a strong mold smell right as we walked in. Windows were dirty. A few stains on wall and fallen painting. At one point during our stay had a family knock on our door and try to deliver an amazon package, which we of course did not order anything to our stay. Texted provided number about smell and attempted delivery but no response back.

I travel back to Oahu twice a year. This place made me feel like I never moved back to the mainland. The 11 days I stayed made me feel like home. It had everything I needed. I will definitely book again.

Unit was as pictured/described. Bathroom was better than expected, great shower. Would be nice if some beach accessories (chairs, umbrella) was included, as per some other rentals - but definitely still worth renting this unit. Also great communication upon our arrival requesting some extra blankets via email with Ali’i property team— which was much appreciated!

Great time in Honolulu we loved our condo very clean and full kitchen was so convenient to lots of places to eat and play!!This is in a great location but I do suggest having a can opener and a flipper to turn eggs or pancake instead of spatula but it worked! I Would Definitely stay here again!!

Excellent location just steps from the lagoon & beach. Lots of shopping & dining just blocks away. If you want convenience you really don’t have to leave the property as everything is on site. This is a definite return property location.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this unit in the Ilikai. Everything works well and is very clean. I stayed with one other person and we had more than enough towels (even for the beach!) and kitchen supplies to be comfortable. Very convenient to be so close to Ala Moana and an "entrance" to Waikiki, didn't get caught in any traffic and parked at the Ilikai Marina. Would love to stay here again in the future.

Besides a few minor issues, my experience with this Air BNB was amazing. The pictures describe exactly how the property looked. The location was amazing and very close to everything. Minor issues were that the TV remote was not working, the water in the bathroom was not draining properly and the AC would not get as cold as we wanted but these are minor issues I guess. The TV would turn on but we couldn't scroll left or right. Overall, 4/5 stars. Thank you for a great first experience for me!
