Located in the much-desired Bamboo Building, Hanalei Bay Resort 9205 is a one-bedroom, one-bath condo with amazing views of Hanalei Bay and Mt. Makana. This home away from home has air-conditioning in the main living area. There is a king bed in the bedroom and an en suite bathroom. A full kitchen, including a dishwasher, is ready to help you prepare unbelievable meals for the entire group. The washer/dryer on-site adds endless convenience to your stay. A private entrance and a private lanai round out the features of this condo.

Hanalei Bay Resort is one of the premier properties on Kauai. Nestled into the beautiful coastline of Kauai’s north shore and built on 22 acres, this resort abounds with lush tropical foliage, amazing views of lush green mountain ranges, waterfalls, tropical sunsets, and the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. Overlooking Hanalei Bay, with views of Mount Makana (Bali Hai), and steps from a white-sand beach located below the resort are just some of the things that you will enjoy while staying at Hanalei Bay Resort. This is a tropical property that reflects all that is Kauai!

Originally built as a tennis resort, it still features some of the finest tennis facilities on the island. You will enjoy access to eight tennis courts, a Tennis Pro Shop, a front desk, bell and shuttle service, and the Activity Hut where beach gear can be rented easily. The resort also features a lagoon-style saltwater pool designed for family fun, as well as a quieter, smaller pool for those looking for something a little more relaxing! Hanalei Bay Resort is also in close proximity to many North Shore attractions, shopping, and two of Kauai’s best golf courses.

THINGS TO KNOW
Condos contain lockouts, meaning there are shared doors. Sounds may be audible between connecting doors.
Hanalei Bay Resort fees are due at check-in to the resort and are collected by the front desk. These include a one-time fee of $50 per reservation, a reservation fee of $6.75 per every non-owner reservation, a $25 a day resort fee, and a $20 fee per car a day for parking.
Internet provided by Hanalei Bay Resort does not support streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.
This retreat can also be rented in conjunction with either Hanalei Bay Resort 9204 or 9026 making a two-bedroom, two-bath condo or in conjunction with both 9204 and 9026 to comprise a three-bedroom, three-bath condo perfect for a larger family or a group of friends offering each their own private bedroom and bathroom.
Due to staffing shortages caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic, the hotel restaurant and bars may be periodically closed.
This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii LLC.
Hanalei Bay Resort swim-up pool bar is indefinitely closed.
This is a privately owned unit in a resort. Since it is privately owned and rented, hotel-style housekeeping is not offered. There is no daily housekeeping.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We loved hearing the waves and ocean breeze. The views are spectacular and the grounds are well manicured, exquisite. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

A Room with a View for sure!! A homey and warm home. However, there were several “broken” items that we reported. Walls are VERY thin. Neighbor had a constant bad cough and slept all night with the TV blaring. The view made everything special.

The home is in a great location with amazing views of the mountains. The furniture in the condo is a bit dated but I think all of the photos online are very accurate for the Property. The home comes fully stocked with beach equipment which is great. Considering the price I think it’s a great deal for the location. The resort that the condo is within has nice amenities such as a pool and tennis courts. The parking is a bit far from the condo but isn’t bad. Note that the condo management team on site does charge an additional $10 parking and $25 resort fee per day that you pay at the time of check-in.

We have stayed at Hanalei Bay Resort on several occasions in other units, usually closer to the resort lobby. This unit is further down the hill with a tremendous view of Hanalei Bay, Bali Hai, and the mountains. It’s only a short walk down the hill to the beach. We had a lovely stay, and enjoyed the sunsets from the lanai.
