With our fully stocked kitchen, you have the ability to cook your meals or head to any of the restaurants nearby in Kihei or Wailea (we are on the border). You are in the center of it all with the best beaches & golf courses Maui has to offer. We are here to help with absolutely anything you need to make your trip memorable, fun & relaxing!
South Maui Surf Shack, Unit B110, is the largest 1 bedroom floor plan in Maui Kamaole complex, over 1050 sq ft of living space. It is a 1st floor, ground level unit so no flights of stairs to carry your luggage or groceries up.
When you walk through the front door, you will be greeted with a bright, open room. Plenty of space for a couple, a family or a group of friends. The living room is enormous and there is plenty of space on the oversized sectional for you to snuggle up on and watch the 75 inch TV. (South Maui Surf Shack provides basic cable, internet service and a smart TV. We cannot guarantee you will be able to hook up to any of the thousands of Apps available.)
Wake up to the sounds of tropical birds & head over to your in-house, fully stocked coffee & tea bar! It is guests' favorite at South Maui Surf Shack.
FYI Maui is known to grow some of the best coffee in the world!
There is a large, lush lanai with partial ocean views through the double sliding doors right off the living room. Sit on the cozy outdoor furniture drinking your coffee, looking at the ocean.
Don't forget sunsets on Maui are quite the event! Grab your adult beverage & walk 30 yards straight off your lanai & watch the sun set from the top of the hill.
The Master bedroom also has a tropical, secluded lanai with a large sliding door to let in a cool nights breeze.
The master suite is extremely spacious, private and airy with a king size bed and a relaxing beach vibe. Attached to the master suite is also a bathroom with a shower/tub combo (completely redone in December 2023)
All of our mattresses, bed linens and bath linens are luxury bamboo from Cariloha (store is located in Shops Of Wailea & all of our guests will have a discount code and be able to receive 20% all orders)
We chose a Murphy bed because nobody is comfortable on a pull out couch!
You will wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the days activities after a fantastic nights sleep.
Another bonus to this spacious condo, there is a second full bath in the main part of the condo (completely redone in December 2023).
This gives couples, families or a small group of friends, the space and privacy they need!
South Maui Surf Shack gets an excellent cross breeze! Leave the sliding doors open and you will have that fabulous ocean breeze running through the entire space keeping you cool.
The property is 23 acres of tropical, beautifully manicured grounds. Maui Kamaole has 2 swimming pools, hot tubs, tennis courts and is the best complex in Kihei.
The condo has a fully stocked kitchen with new stainless appliances (June 2022), coffee & tea bar, new full size in-unit laundry, ceiling fans and AC and many other amenities included.
We provide you with an abundance of extras to make your stay even better...toilet paper, paper towels, sunscreen, beach gear, full size shampoo/conditioner, full size laundry soap etc. We don't give you a "starter pack", you're here on vacation, we don't want you to lose precious beach time because you had to go buy toilet paper. Our kitchen is stocked with everything from olive oil and spices to zip lock bags and aluminum foil.
The best of all, we ask you to do NOTHING at check-out!
No need to start laundry, strip the beds or start the dishwasher.
We rather you enjoy your last morning relaxing before your travel day, we'll handle the rest :)

This was by far the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in. The condo is attractive, spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. Cleanliness was exceptional. The lana’i is private, with comfortable furniture and a great peak of the ocean. The hosts provide everything needed (and more) for an exceptional stay. This was our first visit to Maui and our first Christmas away from home. Jes went above and beyond, giving us recommendations, a thoughtful welcome package and even set up a Christmas tree. I highly recommend this rental, and would 100% rent again.

This is hands down the best equipped, most lovely and well laid out rental we've had the pleasure of staying in, certainly in Kihei and likely on all our travels. Everything has been thought through, is well organized and curated to make your trip effortless. Easily better set up than our house! And the space is so lovely with lots orlf room toove around and be outside, with easy access to Kam 3 and Keawakapu beaches. Would recommend to anyone with 3-4 people in their group and perfect for our family of 3. Pools on site are nearby and BBQs aplenty. Hope to return here again and again!

This is a very nice apartment with easy access to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. We enjoyed sitting at the outside patio and watching the birds.
The washer/dryer were pretty new and were very nice to have.

We loved every moment. We were there with our family of 4, including our 2 and 4 year olds. The location in Maui Kamaole is perfect. The 1st floor unit with the back lanai and lawn was lovely. The unit is remarkable. Designed beautifully, thoughtful. A true home away from home. The 1 bedroom is large enough to accommodate a pack n play and a toddler blow up bed. The bed is SO comfortable. The owners have provided many little details that make a stay in a rental 1000% more comfortable. The beach accessories are abundant and make for a great day out. Jes was kind and thoughtful, easy to communicate with and so helpful. We loved it all and can’t wait to be back.

Three of us stayed here over Christmas and had a fabulous time! Property and condo are beautiful. The condo is fully stocked with everything you need, and beautifully furnished. The beds were so comfortable! We enjoyed drinking coffee each morning on the Lanai. Easy walk to beaches and close to all the shops. We’ll be back!
