Newly installed air conditioning and the only one of its kind at Mauna Kai; Mauna Kai 8B is one of the largest condominiums available on the island of Kauai.

This 'home in paradise' features three bedrooms plus a sleeping loft along with three full bathrooms. Inside you will enjoy the newly furnished family room and a large and fully equipped kitchen. Outside there is a wrap-around lanai that affords you beautiful views of Kauai's famous green mountains and beautiful waterfalls. Enjoy your lanai as you watch the rainbows come and go from the mountain side mist.

Need to cool off after a day at the beach or hiking one of our many trails? Enjoy the largest condominium swimming pool on the North Shore. The pool also features a covered pavilion and barbecue area. Exquisite tropical landscaping adds the final touch to a fantastic vacation spot. Off the site surrounding area is as inviting as is your condo. The location is very close to restaurants and stores, and just a short drive to Anini Beach. Spacious rooms with lots of upgrades. We really enjoyed the location and this condo was nice and open. The wrap around lanai was amazing! Lots of beach chairs, snorkeling gear and boggy boards were available to use. We will definitely be renting again!

We didn’t expect to use the lanai much, but we were all kind of obsessed with it by the end of our stay. Lots of seating—we ate many meals out there! The beach gear—chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, sand toys—was a nice bonus! This is a very spacious property surrounded by beautifully maintained landscaping—it felt like our own private botanical garden. The pool was nice and We would gladly stay here again!

Overall a nice stay but really needs a deep clean and maintenance. It was like going to our 70s era cabin in the mountains of Utah, but dirtier. The master shower was furry at the edges with black mold, curtains and walls are stained with dirt and food, one of the air units leaked like a waterfall, one didn't really cool and in that room the carpet was filthy and the top sheet was a full for a queen bed and the covers had to be washed, also filthy. We were encoraged to go shoeless, but realized quickly that we needed to clean all of the floors as our socks and soles if our feet were black with dirt. Just dirty, dated and worn. Vacasa was responsive overall and did refund the cleaning fee, but it took almost to the end of our stay to get the unusable air unit repaired and get our guest off the couch and into a bed vs sleeping in a hot box like a prisoner of war.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo for our time in Princeville. It was very spacious for 4 adults with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms plus an extra seating area upstairs. We also enjoyed our coffee on the covered wrap around porch. The location was also good as we could walk (10 min) or drive (2 min) to the grocery store and small plaza which also had restaurants. The grocery store had everything you need including hot take out meals, Poke, sushi, alcohol, beer, wine and even snorkel gear, water shoes and other beach gear. We were also within walking distance to a nice beach and from there you could walk to Anini Beach (steep hill but otherwise easy walk). Also a short drive to Anini Beach from the unit. Our favourite beach was Tunnels Beach though. Really great snorkelling and beautiful green mountain beside. We went there several times to snorkel and one evening we picked up takeout from Hanalei Bay then went back to Tunnels to watch the sunset. Stunning!

Huge condo. We had 4 people. Could easily sleep 6 or more. Plenty of space to spread out. Nice and clean. Washer and dryer was a plus. Unit had AC but we didnt need/use it. Lots of windows which we like but unit is surrounded by other units so not much privacy unless you close all the blinds. Convenient location to Kuhio hwy and north shore stuff. We really enjoyed the unit but wouldn’t stay here again simply because we’d prefer more privacy.

Master bed room was great, master bath has great storage, Lanai wraps all the way around the condo, property was quiet minus the roosters lol, great pool area, close to stores and shopping, 3 private rooms and a second living/ extra sleeping area upstairs. Parking was a challenge at night, but overall a very comfortable stay. Washer/dryer and A/c were a huge bonus, we left a couple boogie boards hoping other families can use them ❤️

We stayed here with a large group of 6 people, the condo is incredibly spacious and allowed for us all to have some personal space when we needed it. The condo itself was in great condition, very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Close to the Princeville market as well as the walking path to Wylie beach. Beautiful views of the mountains from the lanai and only a 10 minute drive from Hanalei. Would stay again and recommend for anyone, especially those traveling in larger packs.

This condo was perfect for our family of seven. We had tons of room to spread out and enjoy the space. The kitchen and dining area allowed us all to be together for family meals. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the wraparound lanai. All in all, a wonderful place to stay.

Perfect condo for vacation with family. We’ve stayed in this condo three times now and have loved it every time. We are a family of four with a one year old. Mom, sister, and brother in law joined us this time and there was plenty of space. The upstairs is perfect for a couple to have a little privacy as the bedroom up there has a full size bath and the loft area is like having a separate living room. We stayed in the main bedroom with the baby, and Vacasa graciously provided a pack and play for the baby. The main bedroom and bathroom are beautiful with tons of closet space and access to the lanai. My daughter and mom stayed in the front bedroom that has two beds and the third bathroom was theirs. The lanai is huge with multiple dining areas and views of the mountains. At night you can hear the waves. The pool is huge and always the perfect temperature. Love this condo. We’ll be back.
