Mauna Kai 8 may be the perfect location for that memorable vacation you've been planning. Enjoy the tropical surroundings from your lanais or the views of the Kauai jungle like landscape from your windows. Unwind by the largest condominium swimming pool on the North Shore where you can barbecue lunch or dinner while the kids play in the pool.

Enjoy the short (though somewhat steep!) path to Anini Beach (use caution), or access to the world-famous Makai Golf Course. The Westin Resort, within walking distance, offers unique dining and entertainment opportunities.

This condo has been recently updated in most living areas and a fully equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer, and a dishwasher. It is a two-story condo featuring three bedrooms and a loft and two full bathrooms. Perfect for a larger family group. We do not believe you will find more square footage of family friendly value anywhere!

Our family stayed here with my partner and our kids and my mother and there was lots of room for everyone. The place was perfectly clean, great location in Princeville, a very well-stocked kitchen, and even had some treats waiting for us upon arrival which was a great touch. Some reviews had mentioned the lack of A/C, which we noted right away coming from an air conditioned unit on Oahu, but once we got the fans going, it was perfectly comfortable, even on the hottest days and nights. I would highly recommend this house!! Mahalo

We really enjoyed our time at the condo. It was well equipped for our family (4 adults 2 children) and there was plenty of beach gear and towels. The location was good however it was a bit of a hike downhill on a muddy trail the closest beach so we only went once and ended up driving to other nearby beaches instead. There is a great playground and park within walking distance though and just beyond that is the mall and grocery store. The pool area is great and the kids loved the beanbag toss and ping pong. Our only complaint was that there wasn't a hot tub and that would likely stop us from booking here again, but if you don't mind that it's a great place to stay!

The property was exactly as described we had everything we needed to have a lovely stay. Although I disagree that the deep cleaning should be done more than twice a year as in every time someone stays. It doesn’t take much effort to dust sans.

This condo was a great place for our family of 8. The floor plan / layout worked really well for us. We were very comfortable there. The unit could really use a deep cleaning. The carpets and furniture need shampooing and there is built-up dust and grime on walls and ceiling. Most of the window blinds don’t really work and could be replaced. Some of the windows wouldn’t open. The loft ceiling fan in the loft is really loud and sounds like it should be replaced. The kitchen had most things we needed to cook a few meals. The electric griddle didn’t work. There were enough beach towels and a couple of cheap boogie boards but no other equipment for the beach. We had to rent better boogie boards and snorkel gear for the week from Pedal Paddle. The pool was awesome and the kids loved spending time in it. The location of the unit was perfect within walking distance to Wylies beach and a nice shopping area with some places to eat. We would have given 5 stars if the unit would have been cleaner and if there would have been a few beach items and better equipped kitchen. If we come back to Kauai, we will probably stay here again and hope the property manager has done a deep cleaning and fixed a few things.

The property has plenty of space for our party of 6. It is well-stocked with laundry, kitchen supplies , and towels. Providing beach chairs , pool toys and cooler are nice touches . Check in and check out processes are smooth and hassle -free. I gave it one less star as the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms quit working on day 2. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

Property was good the only issue was there were times when no parking was available and no instructions on where to park when that happened. Understand that central air is not common but would have thought air units would be available in rooms.

The place was clean and enough room for all 8 of us. The location is perfect and everything you need is close by. Beach towels were provided but it would have been nice to have some additional beach supplies such as a couple chairs and umbrella, but I understand these things are not standard (and can be rented). The pool at the complex was cloudy the entire stay, and was closed for maintenance at one point. This happens and is typically transient, but it was disappointing that we couldn’t really use it.

Overall, a wonderful place to stay. There were a couple of maintenance issues but nothing that spoiled a wonderful vacation. I would definitely keep this place in mind for my next Kaua'i visit.
