This unit is in a really nice spot. The good, we were able to check in early and check out late. The unit was clean. The bad, this place really needs updating the electrical is all over the place, out in the open. From the couch we counted 4 different light fixtures/ceiling fans. Furniture dated.

Gave it a 4 because of the mattress and the overall need for some appearance improvement.
Location is fabulous
Don't freak out too much when you pull into the parking lot and think OMG it is an old motel from the 50s. While it is definitely not the Ritz, it is clean and the ocean is right out your sliding doors. Shame you can't walk out your room right to it. Great beach right next door. Well furnished kitchen for cooking considering the other rentals I've stayed out. Even a rice cooker and coffee grinder was there.
Pool was clean and just big enough.
Outdoor grills a bit past their prime but I did get one to function.
The bad - the mattress sucks big time and for a guy with a bad back it was brutal sleeping on it for 6 nights.
Would I stay here again? Could be, but I'd look at other properties first.

Lovely relaxing place - near to outdoor activities. All the facilities and equipment for self catering. Spacious for a couple - and the two fans were more than adequate for those hot nights. Nice and relaxing breeze from the sea. Enjoyed seeing the tropical fish and turtles in very nearby sea. Property management team extremely responsive and friendly. One little suggestion is an update of bed and bedding.

Not a so good stay , There were massive baby and adult cockroach's. Washed anthing that came out of the cubords dishes glasses silverware . also the evening and day to leave tried to call to extend my stay a few hours beiongs my flight was delayed . No one was available to respond to my situation . Housekeeping was there at five of 10 am . embarrasing really.

Everything was great except we had fruit flies (excessive amount) upon arrival until we left. We kept all food sealed and/or in the refrigerator, the kitchen clean, ran the garbage disposal, but did not make a difference. Location was great (right next to Magic Sands Beach) and the pool was nice!

Great location the White Sands is a very safe area whoch was important to us in choosing a location. The water was very close and captivating as you looked and heard it from the room. I will definitely be back here again. The price was fair and the room had everything you vould ask for and more. The area is very quiet no revelry or drunks walking around like a crazy party town. Highly recommend, its not shiny new or very modern but you didn’t go to Hawaii to stay indoors either, its extremely comfortable. Food is expensive in Hawaii so stock up at Costco or Walmart and cook breakfast at least you will save some money.

Don't like that there is a permanently open window in bathroom and above door which is street side on a busy street so all that noise comes in as if sitting right there along the road. Doors and windows at least block out some noise but these openings have now windows. Luckily the road noise died down during the night.

I arrived late at night and had access to the unit through a keyless punch code access system (they need to upate their arrival instructions which refer to "two keys." Upon entry I found the unit to be clean and ready for my stay. I immediately opened the sliding glass door and was greeted by the ocean breeze and sounds of the surf, which was wonderfully present throughout my stay. I enjoyed my stay in the unit. The unit has two very comfortable beds. With the hide-a-bed being used the unit does get a bit cramped but not a problem. Plentiful linens and beach towels, never ran out during the stay. The unit provides a starter pack of laundry pods for the complex's laundry--a nice touch.We cooked steaks on the clean communal gas bbq units near the pool. The unit is well stocked with dishes, cutlery, all the usual appliances.Unit is secure with easy access to our assigned parking space.The one small downside to staying is the unit has signs posted throughout reminds guests of operations and a few rules. Other units I have stayed in has signs, but Magic Sands 113 overdoes it a bit. Not a big thing just a little our of place.There is a new restaurant in the complex, Magics. You can dine in the restaurant, one their patio, or take out to your unit. The food and drinks are tasty and reasonably priced.Magic Sands 113 is a wonderful bargain with great ammenities and access to the beach.In the days leading up to the stay, Ireceived no less than four emails from the management company--all containing the same info.The complex is quiet, especially at night, with some street noise from Alli road. Most of it can't be heard over the sound of the surf and none of it is out of the oridinary.

This unit was clean and was kitted out with some super useful items for our use. Most useful inclusions for us were the cooler, folding chair, beach towels and coffee maker. We were a party of 2 sleeping in the Murphy bed and the fold out couch. Both super comfortable and the proximity to the ocean meant we had built in white noise at all times. The listing should NOT be for 1 Bedroom as it is definitely a STUDIO. We are super close friends so we shared the space effortlessly. It would be a great space for a family or close friends to travel but if 2 couples tried to share thinking they may have the privacy and f a bedroom, there would definitely be some disappointment. We loved the location as we had a car and were able to adventure out in every direction. The retro decor gives this place a unique flavour. We were grateful for this space to call home and we thrilled that any issues were addressed immediately. I would like to know more about longer term stay rates. 💜🌴🦎🌋💜

Did not like that there were only 4 towels , 2 rolls of Toilet paper , one roll of paper towels, Shower only has about 5 minutes of hot water , garbage disposal doesn’t work . The room is small for 3 people , I think maybe a renovation should be done ,, definitely not worth the money we spent a nite there ,,

The location was excellent and we had no issues with the Condo other than it is listed as a 1 bedroom. Probably my own fault for not reading the description better but I was surprised upon arrival. We were happy with the condo and location. Unless they are small children, I would not put more than 2 people in this condo. We really did not have any issues.

The location was beautiful. But there was a huge ant problem in room, we decided not to cook anything while there. Couldn’t find washer/dryer. Was given a map, but map was wrong. I complained about cleanliness and was offered a “complimentary” cleaning. But it should have been cleaned properly before our stay. There were roaches everywhere.

This property was perfect for our mother & daughter snorkeling trip. It really is right on the water with good snorkeling in front (as long as the surf is calm) and close to all the other beaches we wanted to visit. Shopping is nearby for food and the Kona village is just a few minutes away as well. They provided a cooler, chairs, and beach towels.

We stayed here few days. The place is so closed to the beach. Every morning we walked to the beach (about one minute walk) and went swimming. We had a minor problem with the door lock but the manager was very responsive to attend to it.
