We absolutely loved our stay. It felt like home…. but in paradise. Stunning views and amazing accommodations. There was no Air Conditioning, but we didn’t once feel like we needed it. We just opened the windows and let the breeze do what it does best. The only negative thing to say was that the master-bedroom mattress was ROCK hard. I jokingly asked my wife if she thought it was granite or marble. And the other negative thing was the two roll-away mattresses that the facility provided us for kid #3 & 4 felt like stiff springs covered in single-ply paper. We were able to remedy the issue by piling up the bed spreads as a mattress topper and placing the mattresses on the floor. With all that being said, my wifey and I would hands-down stay here again. The positives far outweigh the small negatives. And, who knows, the issues might already be fixed. We would recommend and revisit.

Don’t get me wrong. This is an excellent location on a beautiful island. The condo is a little dated but it’s made up for by the fact that you can see the beach and the pool from your balcony. Unfortunately we could not enjoy the balcony because there were painters out there during our stay sanding with belt sanders. I tried to discuss this with the management multiple times who would not answer my calls. The only reason I got some money back was because of persistence with going to the office multiple times. I would consider going back to this place but I would make sure there is no work being done on the unit at the time of my stay. There seems to be a lot of miscommunication between the condo association and the rental company.

We absolutely loved it here. Location was great pretty well central to everything. View from lanai was beautiful just as in the picture. We would have early morning coffee on the lanai listen to the waves and watch surfers. Condo was very clean. Everything you need is made available by the owner, and owner was very responsive to any question asked. We hope we will be able to visit here again one day.

We have stayed in different condos in this collection for over 20 year. This particular unit has a spectacular view of Shipwreck Beach. But the accommodations are lacking. The tv’s are small and worn out. The beds are as comfortable as laying on the floor. If you have dust allergies the drapes will keep you sneezing. At night you can hear the luau at the Hyatt or a dance party.

The pictures are accurate. The view from unit 123 at Poipu Sands is gorgeous. If we return to Kauai, we will want that exact unit. It is located right next to the Grand Hyatt so we usually walked next door for our morning coffee. The pros include a well stocked kitchen (plates, glasses and cooking supplies), two spacious bathrooms, two bedrooms, a nice living room and balcony. The main reason that we are not giving this unit a five star rating is that the furniture is a bit dated and the unit does not have air conditioning (we were there during the coolest part of the year, so the lack of AC was not an issue; however, it would likely be an issue if you are booking in the warmer months). As well, Suite Paradise was a pleasure to deal with. We arrived late (midnight) and they had our key waiting. As well, check out was effortless. Overall, a near prefect experience.

We loved our stay there. The condo was on the second level, but all on the one floor. Bedrooms are not close together. Quiet with such a beautiful peaceful view. Phone could use an answering machine of some sort. J. Park

Our family loved Poipu sands! We loved the access to the pool and the beach. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. They even provided pool towels. We can't wait to go back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The place was very clean and airy. No need for AC, nature does all the work. The lanai is spacious and comfortable; we ate most of our meals there to better enjoy the view and breeze. There were six of us in our party, so we rented two futons with bedding, which ended up being perfect for our 6yo and 9yo, though I think they would be fine for an adult who is okay with a firm mattress. A couple of minor maintenance issues came up and Suite Paradise responded quickly and to our satisfaction. Since there is a washer and dryer in the unit, we were able to pack light. There were plenty of towels (bath and beach) provided since we could wash them as necessary. To save costs, we ate every meal at the unit and the kitchen served very well for this. The Lihue Costco helped us stock the kitchen and nearby Safeway rounded out what we needed for our 9-day stay. We also went to the Kukui'ula Farmers' Market on Wednesday afternoon for some fresh Hawaiian produce. This unit was perfectly located and we never had to go very far to do the things we wanted to do. There are many places to go within walking distance and/or short drives. The end of the road up on North Beach is only about 90 minutes away and the end of the road up Waimea Canyon is only about 70 minutes away, so we were able to go everywhere we wanted without a lot of long driving. Poipu doesn't seem like the center of everything on the island, but it sure was for us! One last thing, this unit has a lot of books and one on the history of Koloa. I loved getting to read from this every evening! If we are ever able to get back to Kauai, we will definitely book this unit!

We are family of 4 and had a great time staying for a week. Place was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Also has nice view from balcony and master suit. Place is located between poipu beach and shipwreck's beach, so you can enjoy both snorkelling and hiking. Staffs were helpful. We would stay again. Miss sunny poipu alreay!
