We had a great 10 day stay at the unit over Christmas. Everything was as promised and we had no issues at all. The unit was clean and comfortable. We took advantage of the Karma Closet for beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkel gear - which was perfect for our daily walk across the street to the beach.
The only negative comment I could make is that the “starter kit” for household supplies was a bit lacking for a 10 day stay. I didn’t want to go buy toilet paper and dishwasher detergent for my last few days. For the daily rate, these things should be included for the duration. But that is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things and didn’t impact our rating.
Scott is very personable and we would certainly stay here again.

Kihei is a dreamland and being able to stay at Scott’s place was the cherry on top. I’ve never had such an attentive, accommodating, and kind vacation rental host before. Scott bent over backwards to make our stay a good one, and oh was it ever good! I would highly recommend staying at Maui Kamaole — incredibly convenient beach access, great restaurants nearby, an amazing pool, and this apartment was well stocked with beach essentials.
The ONLY consideration I would mention is soundproofing if you’re travelling with a baby. The unit isn’t the most soundproof between the bedrooms. Other than that, our group has only the best things to say about this place. Thank you Scott!

Excellent host: Scott went the extra mile from the very beginning. He arranged for us to check in earlier. He contacted us several times to see how we were doing. Even after we had checked out and the wild fires started, he called to see if we were safe.
Excellent location: The property is 15 minutes away from Makena beach, in our opinion, the best beach in Maui. There is a super market 5 minutes away and plenty of shops at Kihei. You are also 5 minutes away from Wailea and the shopping area.
Excellent apartment: the unit is on a second floor, which allows for more light and less noise. It is very close to the pool, but not too close, so you do not hear the noise of the pool. The parking spot is as close as it gets to the unit.
Very well equipped: The unit is very well equipped with a beach umbrella and several beach chairs and body boards. It also has all of the kitchen utensils you may need + dish washer, microwave, washer/dryer, etc.
Spotless: We received the unit spotless. Very clean and tidy.

Fantastic location with complex pool/spa/bbq right next door. Great size for our family of 5 with awesome Karma cupboard. 3 tvs in the apartment which was nice for some time alone if needed. Lots of little extras provided which was nice, even a box of muslie was provided! Loved our stay! Only problem was the dishwasher didn't really clean very well so we hand washed our dishes most of the time.

We stayed here for the last leg of our 3-island Hawaiian vacation to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. It was in a great location walking distance to the beach. We were able to watch the sunset every night! We loved the layout of the unit and it was very well appointed with everything we needed for our home away from home. We’ve been to Maui many times over the past 20 years and have stayed at various complexes in Kihei and Wailea. This is hands down the very best unit for families. The property is beautiful and very family friendly. We traveled with our 2 kids (4 and 1), the staff was friendly, the pools were great. It was so close to beaches and shops. We never had to leave the area. The condo itself was clean and comfortable. Also there was a water main break on our last day, while we were trying to get ready. The management company was so kind and sent someone with jugs of water so we could prepare for our travels! 5/5 recommend.

There were 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 kids, ages 13, 13 and 10. The location is good, right across the street from the beach, which was an easy walk down the little hill. Condo is right next to the pool and spa, which was super convenient. The condo itself is nice and clean. The whole process of renting it for the week was very simple and easy from start to finish. I like how we were texted a code that we entered on the door keypad upon check in. We didn't have to go to a front desk or get a key from anyone. We had a great week at the condo! Thank you!

I was very satisfied w/ my stay at this property. All was "as advertised" from the location proximity to the beach <5 mins, recently updated, comfortable beds, super clean and great amenities in terms of appliances, dishes, beach towels and most importantly the "Karma Closet" which had boogie boards we used almost everyday, a tent to shield you from the sun, 3-4 beach chairs, pool noodles etc. Property owner was great & prompt in answering questions and providing recommendations before and during my stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the beautiful town of Kihei!

Nice condo with lots of space. Kitchen has everything you need. Has 3 balconies to enjoy and is right beside one of the pools. Short walk to the beach as well! The parking spot assigned is also right beside the unit.
Although much of the condo is newly upgraded/renovated, the main floor washroom could be cleaned better or the bathtub upgraded. It smelt mildewy and a bit like urine during our stay. (Also found some used tissues under the mater bedroom nightstand that wasn't cleaned up from the previous guests).
Finally we did find a cockroach but honestly, this seems common in Maui. We had one in all 3 places we stayed including the fancy Westin Kaanapali. We would have no qualms coming back here or recommending it to friends and family.

Loved this condo, great option for families needing some space to relax. Perfect spot next to the pool, short walk down to the beach and into Kihei shops. Breakfast on the balcony, peek around the corner for ocean views. Appreciated the fast internet, large tv with cable, laundry and full kitchen. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!

We really enjoyed ourselves on this property and this unit!
It is very well taken care of, well appointed, and a great location….you can’t get any closer to the pool!!! Our grandsons LOVED that!
The owner is great to deal with and responds quickly….we had one small issue and even though he had a rental agency, he personally was right on top of it and handled it!! We couldn’t have asked for a better response!
This is a great unit and we will be looking at re-renting it when we come back to paradise!!

Well appointed, beautiful condo across the street from great beaches and ocean path. Scott is easy to communicate with and was incredibly accommodating. We loved the location of this unit, very close to the pool and bbq grills, yet quiet. The lanai is spacious, private, and wonderful for morning coffee and evening sunsets. The beds, pillows, and linens were very comfortable.

our experience started with a pleasant text chat with the owner who gave us good advice and clarified important details that made the trip more comfortable. The property was a central location, wonderful pool facilities, roomy, there were five of us there and we were all quite comfortable. The property was newly renovated as advertised, and very clean, and had a pleasant decor that put you in the mood for island exploration. We were not disturbed by any noise from neighbors, and as my son says above, it was very restful to sleep there. I had a conference I was going to and truthfully I could’ve spent much more time in the condo if we were there for only vacation. Really grateful for this opportunity and would love to come back. One comment about logistics, the fact that three different groups, VRBO, the VaCasa, and the condominium property management group all independently contacting us made things a little confusing. Also some of the numbers did not make sense for entering the property. In the end however these are very minor disturbances and everything else was fantastic

This is an amazing property. We were in Maui with a number of other families staying in units in the same complex and ours was the most updated, comfortable, well-stocked and definitely had the best air conditioning! The 'Karma' closet has everything you and your family need for the beach or the park and both are within walking distance. The pool is only steps away from the unit. The location right between Kihei and Wailea is amazing to get to all the island has to offer. We had one rainy morning to hang out and watch TV and I wanted to mention that the cable package in the unit has something for everyone! It has Hallmark, Food, HGTV, Sports, The big networks and movie channels. There are new TVs also in the bedrooms so if you are in a group and need downtime there is lots of breakout space. The multiple patios of this property also make it great for sharing space comfortably. I would definitely book here again! Don't look at other units just book this one.
