Recent updates include new sheers and blackout drapes, and a new mattress for the queen sofa-sleeper

The complex also has two BBQ areas along the beachfront for memorable sunset cookouts. We have stayed at the whaler multiple times and this was probably the nicest room we have stayed in. The Whaler itself is great and the beach is awesome. Great swimming pool also.

The Whaler is one of our favorite places to stay and we have been staying here since the 1980’s. It is close to restaurants, shops and amazing snorkeling at black rock.
