The host John could not have been better! The condo is equipped with everything anyone could possibly need. The view, pool, area quiet, so great. Only negative is that the decor and furniture is tired and could really use some upgrades. Great value nevertheless and worth the stay.

Very nice compound with very well taken care of grounds. Units are so tightly grouped with windows facing the lanais, you could hear everything going on in the other units. Great location and beautiful sunsets from the lanai

We stayed here for 3 weeks in the lead up to Ironman WC, what a spot! Loved the apartment it had everything we needed, was lovely and clean, peaceful and the pool area was awesome. I didn’t want to leave! John was easy to communicate with and the check in was very easy. It has been 6 years since we visited last and we loved every minute of the trip. Won’t be waiting 6 years to visit again!

My sister and I rented this condo for 6 nights. It is a beautiful condo with plenty of space and excellent amenities. The kitchen has great space, all the appliances you expect, plenty of dishes, pans, silverware, etc., and a large counter area with seating (comfy barstools). It's an open space plan with both dining and living room areas. There's a separate bedroom with a great bed and lots of storage and closet space. The bathroom is nice, too, and we LOVED having a washer/dryer in the unit. There's also a large lanai with plenty of seating and great views of both the pool (very inviting) AND the ocean. Sunsets were gorgeous from the lanai.
The only drawback for me, personally, was no A/C. While there are plenty of fans (both ceiling and standing), it never felt really comfortable for me except during the evening when it was a bit cooler. During the day, we were mostly out and about so I didn't have to deal with trying to cool the place. But, as a post-menopausal women, I found it difficult to cool down when there was no breeze even with all of the fans running. That said, I know many people won't have my issue so they should thoroughly enjoy this condo rental. All in all, my sister and I enjoyed both the condo and its location to so many beaches and activities. Thank you.

Walking distance to downtown area for restaurants and shopping! Would definitely stay here again!

Great location condo. Lots of views, walks, pool, and amenities. Communication was right on. We adapted to no air conditioning with provided fans throughout the condo. Hiked a lot and enjoyed national parks. Wi-Fi perfect. Thank you!

The condo was exactly as shown and was wonderful. It has been newly renovated so it’s very modern looking. It was extremely clean and everything was organized nicely. We spent a lot of time on the lanai which is a nice size and it has an ocean view from the corner. It is a nice quiet complex and the building is very sound proof so we did not hear our neighbors. The area is really nice and is easy to go to different areas of the island from there. We loved it our stay and are going to go back next year.

The condo was exactly as shown and was wonderful. It has been newly renovated so it’s very modern looking. It was extremely clean and everything was organized nicely. We spent a lot of time on the lanai which is a nice size and it has an ocean view from the corner. It is a nice quiet complex and the building is very sound proof so we did not hear our neighbors. The area is really nice and is easy to go to different areas of the island from there. We loved it our stay and are going to go back next year.

This condo is in a great location.
Easy walk to all the shops and restuarant on Ali'i Drive and a short walk to some beaches.
So close to the waterfront where you can hear and see the surf pound against the shoreline.
Sunsets from the waterfront are amazing.
The condo has king size bed that super comfortable to sleep in.
The kitchen is well supplied for pretty much everything.
The Ali'i Villa's grounds are well maintained.
Only downside that I see is the recycling.
Pretty much everything goes into the garbage with exception of glass beer bottles and cans.
The recycling program needs to be greatly improved.

We had a nice relaxing time. We didn't rent a car so walked into the the village or took the trolley which wasn't ideal as the stops on the maps didn't agree with the actual stops. Not the fault of the owners. The bed was very comfortable but the ceiling fan was a little noisy at times. Would stay again and would recommend to others. We were vrbo owners until we sold our property a couple of years ago. We know how important it is to be good hosts. NICE JOB John and Carol!

We had a nice relaxing time. We didn't rent a car so walked into the the village or took the trolley which wasn't ideal as the stops on the maps didn't agree with the actual stops. Not the fault of the owners. The bed was very comfortable but the ceiling fan was a little noisy at times. Would stay again and would recommend to others. Planned a surprise trip for just me and my almost 12 year old. The condo was perfect. kiddo really enjoyed the pool and the condo was centrally located for all our adventures. The place was clean and comfortable, the grounds were well maintained, and we met some lovely fellow travelers. There were plenty of things supplied (pool toys, boogie board), and kitchen was well stocked, though we only used it for breakfast and coffee. John and Carol were very communicative and made the process very easy. Great stay! Mahalo!!

Beautiful property and condo on the water and away from all traffic noise.
The condo was clean and lovely.
Our only issue was that the beautiful salt water swimming pool was closed for over 2 weeks having deck resurfacing done.
To us, the pool was essential giving the hot temperatures and environment.

This condo is perfectly located in Kailua-Kona. It was recently renovated and looks beautiful and elegant. The bed is soft and comfortable. Great kitchen layout and spacious living room with a sofa that converts to a pullout bed (if needed) for evenings to unwind. Good for a couple or a small family. It’s minutes away from grocery stores and shopping areas to get set up or to restock during your stay.
Hosts are very kind and prompt with communications.
A great home base for traveling all over the island.
