This stay was all around excellent. Communication was excellent and accommodating, the place was clean and looks great, had lots of thoughtful amenities, wonderful views, a pool that's not crowded, and restaurants and shopping a short walk away.

Carla’s place was perfect for our family of 5. I loved the stylish decor and comfort of the whole condo! Carla had plenty of EVERYTHING! Beach towels, pool towels, shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, etc! If you forgot anything the condo had it! I especially appreciated the AC in all the rooms. The view was beautiful! The location could not have been more perfect as we were able to explore north and south without a long drive. Having Lava Lava Beach Club next door is an added benefit. We ate there 3 times for dinner in one week! The island lost power one night and Carla’s contact was immediate with her responses and updates. As others have mentioned, Carla even took the time to call us before hand and answer any questions we had. Could not have been happier with this unit!

My family and I just got back from a week at the Lae Nani condo. We were all floored and impressed by this home. This condo is well stocked for your stay. The kitchen has all you need to cook for a group at home, there is plenty of beach equipment to go around, and all the lights/appliances/etc are well labeled so you don’t fumble around.
We mostly appreciated the personal touch from the host Carla. Definitely felt like we were in good hands.

The beach in front of the property was even better than advertised. The view of the ocean was amazing from sunrise to sunset. The location of the property was perfect for us, in the center of the island so that no matter if we were going north or south we were not very far away. It’s right next-door to lava lava beach club that we walked to every morning for breakfast as well as many lunches and dinners. It’s also walking distance to a market where we could purchase food as well as souvenirs and alcohol. And it’s minutes from the airport. Honestly, I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Starfish has got to be one of the best condos in Kauai. First, it is centrally located and walking distance to a few restaurants and shops (walk to the coconut marketplace). It is also about a 45 min drive to either the north part of the island (Princeville) and the south part (Poipu) and about 15 min from the airport. Carla gives very detailed and specific instructions on checking in so that process was so easy. Carla was very responsive to any questions or issues. Carla also employs someone who oversees the property named Deanna. Deanna was so pleasant and helpful. We had one issue with the air conditioning units in the 2 guest bedrooms not working. Deanna first tried to walk me through the problem over the phone and then she came over to help fix the problem. Unfortunately, the guest bedroom with the twin bedroom never worked, but that still did not spoil our visit. We managed to keep the bedroom at a comfortable temperature using the fans. It seems that the island is not equipped to handle the amount of electricity needed for air conditioning. Carla's did her best to fix the issue and it was finally resolved on our last day. Despite this issue, the condo still remained cool and comfortable. Everything about Carla's condo is amazing - the views are stunning!!! The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. Carla is well stocked with everything imaginable - from spices, sugar, salt, and condiments to suntan lotions, laundry detergent, towels, beach bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.. She also has plenty of beach gear such as noodles, goggles, chairs, boogie boards. There's a swimmable beach straight ahead or you can go out to the beach and make a left and swim in that beach which is adjacent to the Lava Lava restaurant. We went to many restaurants throughout the island and Lava Lava was one of the best because the food is good, there's live entertainment and you are right on the beach with the best views. I recommend going to Lava Lava rather than the Beach House in Poipu because of the reasonable prices, variety in the menu and better views of the beach and mountains. Overall, I highly recommend Carla's Starfish condo.

Our familly of two adults and three kids (two teens) had an absolutely amazing week at the Starfish! Everything was even better than adverstised and Carla was a pleasure to work with before and during our stay! We had no issues that needed to be addressed. The best aspects of the property were the beautiful decor, attention to detail (we ate in several nights and found everything we'd need and more), and the proximity to the beach! LOVED sitting on the lanai for coffee and dinner and watching the waves! Highly recommend and hope to return someday!

Our family of 5 stayed at this beautiful home for 10 days and it wasn’t enough time! It truly is a “home away from home” (only our home isn’t on a beach on an island in the Pacific:). I tend to be a little picky and this was the perfect place for me—Carla has thought about all the little details and you will want for nothing. We were there to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday so our extended family also rented condos at this same property. While nice, they were not like ours. The air conditioning was a great perk (there are not a lot of places with A/C in Kauai) and it is stocked with everything you will need —beach chairs, washer/dryer, designer decorating, comfy beds and sheets, plenty of bed pillows, lighted make up mirrors, hooks galore, lots of drawers/closet space, super soft bath towels, and the list goes on. There was an awesome (and delicious) gift basket awaiting us and the condo was super clean. We had to work with the property manager on one item (no fault of anyone) and it was handled quickly—Deanna was a joy to work with! Would we go back? Without hesitation! This condo is so much better than the pictures (and the pictures are pretty great!). Plenty of kitchen dishes, appliances (including a super good blender to mix up Lava Flows), coolers, games, beach and pool towels, etc. If you have young kids (we didn’t), there are tons of sand toys! We all agreed that the property landscaping is the best —the plants and flowers are beautiful!! And the tiki torches at night, along with the sky full of stars, will take your breath away. There is yoga next door every morning at 8:30 and it was nice to have the beach restaurant, Lava Lava, right there as well. The beach is perfect —and there is a little tide pool for kids. The pool is heated and was refreshing after a day sightseeing. At first I was nervous about the location as we wanted sun (and thought we would need to stay in Poipu)—I was wrong! It was sunny every day with only a couple of brief rain showers. The location is central to everything! Make sure you try the Hawaiian Shaved Ice in the Coconut Marketplace —we had it 3 times. Thank you, Carla and Deanna, for such a memorable stay!

Carla is a wonderful host/owner. She supplied everything we needed before our trip. The condo is convenient (can drive to end of highway north or south within 1.5 hours) and beautiful and has many supplies. It has more than enough beach supplies, bedding, towels, kitchen appliances and supplies, shampoos/soaps, etc. Highly recommend!

This property is great and just as advertised. It was extremely clean and the check-in process was easy, thanks to detailed instructions from Carla. The location was perfect because there was a pool and it was walking distance to restaurants, shops, a small grocery store, etc. We were there in winter so the surf was much too rough to swim but it was a beautiful view onto the water. The condo is on the first floor so if you are a very light or late sleeper, be aware that you can hear the people above walking around above you. The complex itself gets very quiet at night, though. Everything you need is there - kitchen ware, great towels, beach toys, tennis rackets, scrabble, and chairs. You won’t need anything. Easy parking, too. All in all, a great place!

Upon entering you’re immediately aware of the quality, cleanliness and attention to detail. After settling in for the evening we were pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the condo was for our stay. The added bonus of having AC in every room was so nice! We love Lae Nani and all the wonderful features like the close proximity to The Coconut Marketplace, Beach access and pool access. The pool is especially lovely and always heated to an optimal swimming temperature! If you’re debating a stay in Lae Nani look no further than a stay in the Starfish!
