Everything about the condo was perfect. Clean, well furnished, comfortable bed and nice kitchen. And the patio was amazing—coffee and breakfast each morning, and afternoon cocktails were enjoyed each day. And, there was a nice set of beach supplies—mats, towels, chairs, umbrella. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the big island.

I’ve stayed at this complex previously and I loved our condo each time. Our unit was just perfect for my family of three. The only hiccup we had was that the towel bar in the master bath fell down off the wall after just putting a damp wash cloth on it. We did notify the property and it was not fixed before we left so hoping that does not incur us a fine. There was no AC in the unit BUT the fans kept us plenty cool with the trade winds along with it. Mahalo for a great stay!

The view is unbeatable!! Also, the free, easy parking is a great feature! I have stayed in the facility before. This space is a bit more dated than other units. There is no AC. While they provided a lot of fans, my 72 year old mom was pretty hot during the day. That said, this unit was very clean and had everything we needed (e.g., internet, washer, dryer, coffee maker, cooking supplies, bathroom supplies, and beach towels). We felt safe and the check in process was easy.

Beautifully furnished. The people who own this condo obviously loved Hawaii, its flora and fauna. It needs some tlc, which I’m sure they would do if they were here. Perfectly wonderful to stay here and I would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful place outside kona with everything you need. Well furnished, well equipped and carefully decorated. Very close to the sea with a beautiful view. Little beach in front of the house. Swimming is more difficult because of the rocks. Didn't want to leave. Really bad experience with property manager Vacasa: Communication was non-existant and not satisfactory at all. Booked a second apartment through Vacasa first, but had to cancel it unfortunately. Never received a confirmation for the cancellation. Instead they asked me to pay the full amount, although I had cancelled it in time. For the second (still existing) booking I asked them, if it would be possible to check in a little earlier. Never received a message. Only automated generated messages. Very unpleasant experience.

The view off the lanai was AMAZING! We loved watching the clear water and sunsets every day. This place looks quite dated from the images and we booked it knowing we’d be able to look past the style, however, we were not expecting the decor, fake plants, books, and furniture to be coated in dust. This place needs a deep cleaning from top to bottom or a renovation. The carpet is sticky, each cabinet smells different, and the building/exterior itself was quite worn. We love the lanai and view so much that we really just tried to spend our time there when we weren’t out and about. Would love to see this place cleaned up and it would be a gem. Won’t stay here again until then :(

There’s not too many condominiums that are this close to the ocean; facing west we had beautiful sunsets every night. The furnishings were slightly dated but efficient with Hawaiian decor. Communication from Vacasa was great. One negative, the queen size bed in the master bedroom was a disappointment. The mattress is worn out and lumpy.

We loved waking up every morning to the sound of surf and the colors of a beautiful sunrise. The sunsets were also spectacular.

Kona Bali Kai #310 will take your breath away with it’s amazing views and location just steps from the ocean. It is spacious, with plenty of storage, a well appointed kitchen, great shower and nice amenities like beach chairs and boogie boards. It also has no air conditioning, so the unit stays very warm in the evening and through the night. Better floor fans and comfier pillows would make a difference.
