Beautiful area, check in was smooth, got an extra parking permit no problem. The condo was nice, perfect fit for the six of us. Loved the ac in most of the rooms. The location was beautiful, lots of walking paths and an easy walk to the Turtle Bay resort.

We stayed three nights with our family of 6. I appreciated that everyone had a bed without having to use a pull-out sofa! It’s a quiet location close to Turtle Bay, which has a smaller sized beach. We drove to get there, because it is a bit of a walk.
The unit was clean and covered the bare minimum of essentials. I would have liked some extra blankets, Kleenex, and salt & pepper but these aren’t deal breakers. They didn’t offer toiletries besides some bar hand soaps in the bathroom and the kitchen had no spices.
The beds were comfortable and there were multiple types of pillows from which to choose. The patio had a few beach chairs to use, as well. My kids loved the bunk beds!
Overall, it was a nice stay. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. Great for families with more than two kids.

Great condo accommodation for our family of 4. Plenty of space to chill, swim in the pool, or cook our own food. Walkable to Turtle Bay beaches and resorts and Leileis restaurant. Would be nice to have a kettle otherwise 5 stars. Recommend a car to go explore the North Shore country too.

Very nice large resort location with lots of activities, tennis, golf, snorkelling, hiking, etc. The North Island is a good location, not as hectic as Honolulu.The condo was very comfortable and the loft was especially convenient with two extra beds, therefore no one needed to sleep in the living room. Upstairs carpet could use a deep cleaning. Glassware was severely lacking, with only 7 mismatched large water glasses, no juice glasses, no wine glasses.Management company sent good information and made arrangements for our Sunday arrival. Helpful people.

The vacation home was more than sufficient for our needs. There is a King bed upstairs, a set of twin size bunk beds in the loft, 2 twin beds in the room downstairs, and a sofa bed in the living room. We used all but the sofa bed. The place was clean, although be aware that the only cutting board is about as big as a lime. The Wifi was not working during our stay, but it was only a minor inconvenience since our stay was short (2 nights). Our main concern is that the listing did not list that it comes with only 1 parking spot. After payment was received, we were told it only had 1 parking spot, and that we could request 1 guest parking from the resident manager upon arrival. I sent 3 emails the week before our trip asking for clarification on the parking, and there was no response. When I called the property management company, they claimed to have not received any of my emails, and they didn't seem concerned at all that they didn't receive emails. Key pick up was between 3 and 4pm. At 330pm I picked up the keys and asked the hours of the resident manager. The property management company didn't know, but guessed it might be 4 or 5pm. Upon getting the rental just a few minutes later, I went to the resident managers office to discover that on Fridays, the office closes at 3pm. Thus there was no way to get guest parking on a Friday since you have to pick up the keys first. Fortunately we ran into the resident manager shortly thereafter and were able to get 1 additional spot. The property management company really should be aware of the resident manager's hours, and the listing should include the parking situation before booking.

We have been to Turtle Bay six times in various condos. Our experience has all been positive. We love the beautiful landscaping and the pools and tennis courts. It is a short walk to gorgeous beaches where we see turtles and Hawaiian monk seals. It is peaceful and relaxing. Our times with the staff has been good. From setting up our reservation to the security and landscapers, and especially the resident manager Marlene Almadova, who went beyond her friendly helpful service. She even gave us delicious warm cupcakes ! So we will be back for sure. Our annual family vacation is here and now that we are retired we can enjoy more times at Turtle Bay. Mahalo Nui !

The condo was exactly as advertised. Well equipped, clean, comfortable. AC in the bedrooms was helpful - especially for the downstairs bedroom. Good trade-winds through the family room and upstairs bedroom. Minor issue that needs attention is the ceiling fans in the bedrooms spin at such a slow rate they are ineffective... time for some new fans. We decided to extend our stay on the North Shore an extra 3 days. The property manager was able to accommodate us in another unit (Flip-Flop). Paniolo is definitely the winner. When we return in future years we will try to stay in Paniolo again.

We stayed in this same condo about 4 1/2 years ago, Fall of 2012. Overall this unit has not changed at all, is exactly the same and needs updating, painting and needs to be taken care of better. Faucets dripped, TV in living area needs to be larger, TV in BR downstairs is WAY out of date, MBR TV needs to be mounted on the wall (too low to see from bed)and remotes were somewhat difficult to navigate. Front door needs to be more secure as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The property was just was it was described to us. It was a little more than what we wanted on our budget but when we stayed there, we knew why. The property was well maintained and new appliances were in the process of being moved in. It didn't get in our way because we were more out and about but we were notified ahead of time about it. Unfortunately our first night was very uncomfortable due to hairs found in the sheets when we went to bed. There were only two washcloths provided for 6 people. The kitchen was not well supplied (not enough plates and glasses; no paring knife for example). Refrigerator and stove needed a good cleaning or replaced. Some of the mop board was literally splintering apart. The sweeper was worthless. We bought new sheets and blanket because I refused to sleep in what was provided. We also bought new washcloths. We also bought ant killer to rid kitchen of ants. I know cockroaches are common in Hawaii but I have never stayed in a condo in Hawaii with so many of them. Once we got bedding replaced with new sheets and blanket, the bed was comfortable. The pool and tennis court was good. It was in good walking distance to beach and golfing. However the condo has not been well maintained and updated which put a big damper on being able to relax and enjoy our vacation.

We spent 4 nights here in April. We loved the location, beautiful grounds, and security of the condo. The screened in porch was so nice. We have 4 kids so having 4 single beds was perfect for us. There was always a lovely breeze so we did not use the a/c but it was good to know we could. Our only complaint is the king bed in the master was not very comfortable and the sheets would not stay on the bed. Also the loft with the bunk beds could get a bit too warm, it would have been nice to have a fan there. But, I feel this place was a good value and We would stay here again.

On arrival we had to wash one of the twin bed sheets and mattress pad cover It had something sticky on them. The floors had hair and sand and the bath tub had cleanser residue. The condo could use some more lighting and maybe air in the main living area. When the air came on in the bedrooms it went under the bed and was blocked so it could not reach the living area.

We had only one little mishap and that was the oven handle fell off while we were using it. However, maintenance fixed it the very next morning! So all was well again! This year family vacation we decided to rent out a beach condo. Since all my kids are adults we thought it would be fair enough instead of staying in a hotel. Positives:Lots of Room sleeps 6 easily. Nice to have a washer and dryer and WiFi. Adequate kitchen supplies for 5 but more than that would see people sharing bowls, spoon, knives, etc. 5 minute walk to beach. Great beach fro snorkeling Great to have the hotel near by for evenings out and to play golf, Frisbee golf, ride bike, rent surf boards, get surfing lessons, etc. Nice to have so many pools to choose from and the barbeques were cleaned daily. We did not play tennis but it was available just outside our door. Very quiet and garden like setting. Way away from the din and glitz of Wakiki!Challenges:The cleaning staff needs to clean the dusty fake plants, very dusty overhead fans, and the garbage and underwear under the beds. Although WIFI speed was not a big issue for us, don't expect blazing WIFI Speeds (e.g., Took 5 hours to download the Hobbit through Itunes.

The pictures do not do this place justice. There were four of us staying and we had loads of room and everything we could ask for. The furniture is what you'd expect from a holiday rental. The condo is an easy walk to the beach and beautiful snorkeling. Everything we needed was supplied and the location was great to get to everything we wanted to do and see along the North Shore.

We took our family of six to Oahu and to the North Shore. We researched on line and found this reasonably priced condo at Turtle Bay. I appreciate the owners opening their home to us and allowing us to experience the Hawaiian life. Check in and out was very easy. It is a good location with tennis courts and a swimming pool a hundred feet from the condo. If you want to go to the beach I would suggest Sunset Beach about 15 minute drive from the condo. The beaches at Turtle Bay were too rocky for our liking.We enjoyed eating out at the many food trucks. They are pricey and all are not created equally. If you want a good burger that is reasonably priced you want to eat at Seven Brothers. We also made repeat visits to Ted's for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We loved everything we ate there: e.g. Omelette, sandwiches, meat plates, garlic shrimp and pastries. We did have sticker shock at the local grocery stores, Foodland. On the condo key is a tag that will give you some reduced pricing at the store. Buy in Honolulu before coming up the coast.Before you choose to rent you need to be aware of a few items; e.g. the mattresses are not pillow tops but were reasonably comfortable. We did have issues with little black ants climbing out of the cupboards upon arrival. I called the management company who stated they would send someone. We never saw anyone. Two days later I decided to buy ant traps and clean the cupboards myself. I destroyed several nests but could not get rid of all of the ants. A professional exterminator service needs to be hired to take care of this. When I reported the concern again at check out there was no apology only trying to find out where they were. I hope they resolve this situation. Would we stay there again?, yes. We had a wonderful time and the condo fit our family perfectly. Aloha!

The unit we rented was perfect for our family. A few small items had to be fixed by ourselves such as a door knob being loose (tightened)and the shower knob fell off (reattached) but otherwise perfect. Unit was very clean and was in a great location. Never saw a single cockroach!

Our stay at the Turtle Bay Paniolo condo was perfect for us and our family. Everything was in great condition, it was large enough for our family of six and was in a great location. Loved the amenities of the pool, gated area, etc. The only negative I can think of would be to not dry your laundry on high. We had some socks and shirts shrink considerably. We would definitely come here again and hope to do so in the future.

The location is great and easy to find. However you probably need a car to get there as fast as possible. The condo is well equiped but would need some maintenance. Because there were no non-stick-pans we had a hard time cooking. Also the amount of plates and stuff could be higher for a condo suited for 6 people.Cleanness was fine but not spotless.

I can't wait to stay here again! Beautiful area and such a safe and clean area to stay in. Every thing about this place was wonderful! The only con is that it is kinda far from Honolulu and wakiki but if you have a car than who cares. The other con is that the air conditioner in the rooms work great but if you are sleeping in the loft area it might be really hot because there is no air conditioner in the loft of the living room. Other than that our stay was an absolute blast!!

Great unit and enjoyable stay. We enjoy the Turtle Bay condos as we hike most afternoons to Kahuku Point (to see the albatrosses, occasional booby, and shorebirds) or west to Kawela Bay for a swim. Lots of open space compared to being right in the thick of the north shore. We snorkel, surf, hike, and birdwatch. I prefer to rent from Turtle Bay Estates as they are professional, friendly, and dependable. Mahalo.

2bedroom plus a bonus room was great except the sheet had some smell like mildew - needed new sheets . It would be nice to have the AC centralized. We had to leave each room door open so the air con can be distributed within the house. AC only in rooms, feeling bad for the balcony guest just having nothing . The big fan was just in the living room.

I have to say I had high hopes for our stay,we have stayed at Turtle Bay Resort before so I expected the be fair I blame most of my issues with the Management that takes care of the unit then the owner & I hope the owner changes companies, when I 1st booked the unit they double charged me the deposit & I had to call to complain & to get my $$ back. The unit was mostly clean, but there was hair in the one shower & sand in the other tub (we at 1st just overlooked it & cleaned it up ourselves) We also Noticed the front door had no deadbolt or other lock, the door did lock but the safety lock bar was missing & the door only had the door lock which left us feeling unsafe & uncomfortable (we used a chair in front of the door to feel safe) The main issue that caused us the biggest problem was the dryer, we had been in Waikiki 4 day prior to our stay in turtle bay, being the unit was suppose to have a working washer&dryer we waited till we got there to do laundry, the 1st night we were there we found out the dry didn't work, So the next day I called & was told an emergency maintenance call would be made the next day still broken NO ONE CAME! I called again & was told the same thing & when I told them no one came out they said they would this time, the next day NO ONE CAME AGAIN! we where only there for 3 night so we had no clean clothes & had to buy new underwear not to smell while we where there. They told me I gave them the wrong unit # when I called but I called twice if I did they would have known so & as for the info THEY DIDN'T I believe there is an issue with the management that oversees these units & the owner should check into it. they are suppose to check the unit after a person leaves for damage (thus the $250 security deposit I paid & got back due to no damage) So they didn't check to see the damage to the dryer, So I paid over $200 a night & feel disappointed I did & they offered NOTHING for our inconvenience, That should tell u how they care!

This condo was lovely. Breakfast on the lanai was wonderful, lots of birds to watch outside. The pool and tennis court are right out the front and back door respectively. The walk to the beach is a decent one, however there is a parking lot if you’d rather drive. The condo came equipped with everything you need including beach towels and beach chairs/equipment. Don’t bother with the AC, just open the doors and windows to enjoy the cross island breeze. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is described as is but this particular rental was not thoroughly cleaned at all and not well maintained at all. The dryer didnt work at all because the start knob will not stay on to run the machine. I notified the manager who didn't bother to check the dryer and the reason I know this is because I left a note and it was untouched. This place definetely need a thorough cleaning! . I would not recommend this rental

We had some trouble getting in the front gate (the code they gave us just called the office, and no one picked up), but after we got the key fob, everything worked wonderfully! We stayed in Jan 2014. The condo was just ok. Our main problem was the ants crawling everywhere. There was a major infestation in the kitchen. I tried to make sandwiches one day and had to throw everything out because there were ants crawling all over the counter top. The condo itself is pretty nice. The amenities, however, could use some upgrading. It looked like they stocked the kitchen with whatever they found at garage sales and goodwill. The outside of the refrigerator was rusted and looked like they had dragged it in from the dump (the inside looked ok). None of the outside doors open and close properly. This place just needs a bit of maintenance and care. The baseboards are dusty and dirty and it just looks like the place needs a good cleaning. We will not stay here again.
