The lanai of this condo does not have an ocean view and overlooks the private driveway to building 2. The unit just got AC in May 2022 and is well-maintained. The Sands of Kahana invites you to come and experience firsthand the many activities and beautiful sunsets that await you. Located just a few yards from the water, you'll appreciate the sound of waves crashing along the shoreline and feel the cool ocean breezes.

This resort’s prime location on the beach in Kahana is perfect. The spacious villas are beautifully appointed. Onsite amenities include underground parking, tennis courts, basketball hoop, swimming pool, children's pool, whirlpool, restaurant and bar, beach with beach amenity rental shack, 2 exercise facilities and barbecue grills. The resort is within a 10-minute drive of 3 championship golf courses which are open to the public. Sands of Kahana is ideal to help create your impeccable Maui vacation. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or fun-filled getaway, you'll find it here. Watch the whales, listen to the surf hitting the shore, and enjoy front row seats to spectacular sunsets, all while relaxing with your favorite beverage either on the beach or sitting on your own private lanai.

Plenty of fine dining and family-friendly restaurants are within walking distance from the Sands of Kahana. If you prefer a stay-at-home meal, BBQ right on onsite or enjoy our fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities right at your fingertips. The Beach House on property serves breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a great Happy Hour! In less than a 5minute walk, enjoy Maui Brewing Company’s locally made beer (and rootbeer!) along with a fantastic menu. Dollies Pub and Café and Miso Phat are just across the street and also offer tasty cuisine. For convenience, there are two stores nearby with easy grab-and-go deli items and anything you might need without having to go to a larger busy grocery store.

Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. Please note, we are not endorsing these companies simply providing the more popular options in the area : Snorkel Bobs in the Kahana Gateway Center, Boss Frogs in the Napili Plaza and Boss Frogs in Kahana Manor. Loved the location and amenities at this property. Pool, hot tub, bar and restaurant on site. Nice beach! Room was clean and spacious, loved having 2 bathrooms. Bed and sofa sleeper were comfortable.

Everything was great with the unit. The location is perfect and we were glad it had the restaurant/bar downstairs. Great beach location and rental equipment. The unit was very clean and provided with good essentials. The only thing we would have to say is that it needs updating. It really needs a new couch and a new bed. Loved that it has two bathrooms and washer and dryer.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Greet location and the one bedroom had 2 bathrooms which was a plus. The kitchen area was clean and came in handy. We were able to pick up groceries to make breakfast and late night snacks. Only downside was it was noisy at night and the couch was very outdated and scratchy. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms and abundant hot water.

Getting up every morning with a beautiful ocean view, only if you want to sleep in the bedroom had blinds but did not block light so up early-all supplies were all there even a closet of boogie boards, chairs , cooler , & even sand toys, was a pleasant surprise🌴☀️🐢 would stay there again when in Maui!

Very clean room, easy check-in. Room 122 isn't ocean facing but the beach is just a minute away from the door of the room! Grounds were well maintained and pool/hot tub were very clean as well. Restaurant is located on the property and also plenty of grills if you want to cook out. Overall very happy with the accommodations. Would stay here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at SOK many times over decades of travel, this was my first time in a one bedroom. I found the layout and furnishings much less desirable than a 2 or 3 bedroom. This particular unit was very badly stocked with cookware and tablewear. All of the appliances were old and in poor repair. It came stocked with NOTHING...not even a salt shaker or coffee filter. No a single beach towel or piece of beach equipment. We left an unbrella and chair for the next guest, hope the owner doesn't remove them.This is the only time I have stayed at SOK and regretted it. This unit is not a good value.

This unit was spacious, nice to have 2 bathroom & washer/dryer but the bed really needs to be replaced. It would squeaks every time we moved, the mattress is worn out. There is definitely some deferred maintenance needed. Sands of Kahana is a very nice resort, sunsets are fantastic. The pool is great, perfect water temperature, the Beach Club is very convenient, good food & service.

Dated but clean and well equipped. Not ocean view but overlooking parking lot and street. Left a note with Sullivan properties as to some immediate repairs and updates needed
