Ilikai Resort is beautiful but the unit itself was less desirable. Only had one kitchen hand towel, no paper towels, no scissors, no seasonings left from other renters, cabinets throughout are in rough condition, no instructions on tv remotes (3+). Wifi signal was not strong if out on the lanai, unable to reserve tickets for attractions. The resort only has valet parking for $45/night, not $35/night that was listed in the description. The pool hours are very limited 7am-7:30pm with lap time 7-8am. That was difficult for the little one that enjoys daily pool time. Friday evening entertainment posted was hula dancers but ended up a one man singer taking requests. We had questions prior to and during the stay, beware if it is after hours or weekend, you won't get a response. For the price paid, the unit was a little disappointing because you did not get to use the entire resort.

We loved our stay. Four retired women on a Hawaiian adventure. Location was excellent. The property had everything we needed (except for ice when we got there). The only problem was that I, not being technologically savy, was not able to get my emails while on vacation until I could get on the wifi. Snafu for me because my room code and instructions were not available at check-in. It was late at night and the contact number we had was a business that was not open at the time so we were a little stuck. The hotel (not VRBO) security department was able to help us and track down access to our reservations and room. We did hear from the VRBO agent the next day to make sure we were all set. It all worked out in the end and the space was wonderful! Nice balcony to sit outside and plenty comfortable on the inside. All in all we had a great time and would stay here again.

View is beautiful however condo is outdated, bathroom shower dirty, food left in fridge, tv issues the whole stay, couch ripped and dirty, coffee pot needs replaced , AC unit in living room is very loud….. would not stay here again!

Ilikai Apartments (1618) was everything VRBO advertised it to be and more. The location was perfect and very comfortable for 5 adults and a 16 year old. The beds were very comfortable and we loved everything about it and will definitely tell our friends about it. The response from the facility manager to replace a non working kettle was super fast and much appreciated. Mahalo!

Definitely wouldn’t book this place again. Lack of communication. I booked this place because of space and multiple showers the day before I checked in I got an email saying not to use one of the bathrooms because it is broken I was told I was going to get a partial refund and never received it. Place looks old and outdated inside the pictures will definitely catfish you.

The location of the until was great. The unit itself could use a little updating. The listing of 2 bedrooms is a bit deceiving. The second ‘bedroom’ is right next to the dining room table, separated by a pull out partition. Their is a little peeling paint. The whole unit could use an update.
We had an issue with the door lock one day. The phone number I had for assistance was not a good number. It took several emails before they called. They then sent maintenance up. They determined the lock needed replaced. It took a couple of hours before they repaired it. Over all it did not take long but there was no communication from management on what or when the issue with would be resolved. If you are going to Waikiki, it is a great location.

We enjoyed the condo a lot. Perfect local and great view. My only complaint is that neither of the toasters, the toaster oven and some outlets didn’t work. Besides that, it was perfect!

For the price this place is unbearable. Short walk to the Lagoon and Beach. Restaurants and ABC store all walking distance. Beautiful huge Balcony overlooking the Lagoon and beach. Beach chairs and snorkeling gear provided. Beautiful resort property too. Easy check in and check out. Would stay there again.

Place is okay, definitely needs upgrades to the kitchen and bathrooms and all the furniture. The living room/dining room has too much furniture, when the "second bedroom" is closed off there is literally no room to move around. It worked for 2 adults and 2 teens but no way would I try and fit 6 people. You cant sit on the couch because its so old and creaky and you sink down too far. The bedding is really really old, but the beds are comfortable enough. We knew all of this from reading previous reviews so there was no surprises. Having 2 bathrooms is fabulous, and the view is the amazing part. The hotel is far from all of the action and nightlife of downtown so be ready to walk if that's where you want to hang out.

View was awesome - better then picture - great location -Ilikai hotel itself was awesome - good service - nice resturants - condo needs up dating - furniture old - whole place could use a paint job - picked this unit because of good cancelation policy -
