Condo wasn't quite what we thought it would look like. Upstairs bedroom had no shower. Condo Needs some maintenance. Had ant and bug issues.

We really enjoyed our stay Kona Alii. This condo has everything you could want and need. Location of the facility is right on the Main Street, but this condo is set back enough and on the 7th floor so you don’t hear any noise. The lanai had a great view of the ocean where we would sit out every morning and enjoy our coffee.

Ideal place to stay to explore downtown Kona. Close to all amenities which was perfect for lounging around Kona. The ocean view was good from the lower balcony whilst the upper one was quite hot since being a penthouse unit. Overall enjoyed the stay and would stay there again if visiting the area. Felt safe walking anywhere around the area.

Loved the amazing view from the main floor deck, spent lots of time there in the mornings and evening. A wonderful surprise was being able to hear the ocean waves at night from both bedrooms. Super convenient location, an easy walk to lots of restaurants, and great deals at the Farmers Market. Loved that this unit is on the top floor, and the property is access-controlled. Highly recommend!

We had a great time staying at this lovely property. It is nicely decorated, has a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of beach towels and a boogie board that we made use of. We especially liked having the upstairs suite and a laundry and having breakfast on the balcony with the lovely ocean view.

Our family trip to the big island was awesome with this wonderful property as our home base. Very spacious and clean with an excellent location allowing you to walk the beachfront with numerous shops and restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend!

We have stayed at Kona Alii quite a lot. This is the first time staying in this unit. Was a great spacious unit. The only thing I didn’t like was the upstairs had toilet but had to shower downstairs. Other than that was an awesome place to stay with friends. Had everything you needed in kitchen. And great having laundry and dryer.

Really well set-up and maintained unit in a great location in downtown Kona, good for family of 4 or two couples. Having 2 decks (one in shade, one in sun) was nice. Disappointing to see that 2023 rates have doubled across the board (high and low season) from the 2022 rates. We've rented this unit twice in last 3 months; however the price change would impact us renting again unless we were sharing the cost. Regardless, a very comfortable unit, and excellent communication with management company.

The location is awesome. You can walk to everything, shops, beaches, restaurants. There is a great bar/restaurant just outside the building, facing the beach side.
You have a lovely view from the balcony of the waves crashing onto the shore line. We spent many breakfasts and lunches there, just enjoying the view and the sound of the waves and the smell of the ocean.
Since the property has two floors with one bedroom on each floor, there is as much as privacy as you want between the two sets of guests. The upper bathroom does not have a shower so they will have to come down to the hallway bathroom, which is fine, but just thought you should know.
There is no detergent for either the dishwasher or washing machine left automatically for you so you need to ask for it if you want it. We did not know you could ask for it so we simply did our dishes by hand and did not use the washing machine.
Overall, we were super-happy with the place and I highly recommend it.

Absolutely great location, we have stayed in this building before and it's walking distance to everything. Unit is very well appointed, well laid out. Unit and location is 5-star. Only drawback, the upstairs bed is very uncomfortable, so hoping it gets changed out as we are renting this unit again this year.

We had a fantastic stay at the Penthouse! You can walk to so many great restaurants and see a luau at the Royal Kona just down the street. The Kona Inn is a hidden gem we found in the shopping center area. Beautiful view of the ocean from the main lanai.

This property is perfectly located and has wonderful views! We really enjoyed the amenities but the only hitch was the check-in process and lack of supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, hand-soap) during the stay. The property manager was great and available for communication but their cleaning person did not hold up her end with delivering the supplies needed. Also, the building had parking garage painting the entire week we were there. We had to move our car before 8AM each day, otherwise it would’ve been blocked in for the day. The only way we knew about this was through a flyer placed in the elevator the day before they started. Overall, it was a good experience!

It is a great place to stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. I was decorated well with its palm tree theme. We loved the balcony off of the dinning room. It had views of the ocean and town. The Condo is right at the center of town. We walked to dinner and the beach. The area is a great place to see lots of sites.

Rare find in Kona to have everything you need. Covered parking and close to every thing, we walked a lot and made great memories. The lanais were amazing and this unit was well stocked.
