Waikiki Beach Tower 2302 Reviews

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) had to change from Maui to Oahu because of the fire. We saw this property and even though it seemed way over priced we had little other option. There pros and cons to staying at this property. Pros: the location is PERFECT. it is right across the street from a protected area of Waikiki Beach, there are tons of stores, food and activities within very close walking distance! The views from the balcony are wonderful. We have stayed in many places on Waikiki and this is better than all of them! Despite being on the 35th floor the elevators were VERY quick, the parking is included and the staff is more than helpful! Cons: FOR THE PRICE the air conditioning does NOT cool down the master bedroom, both the shower head AND the toilet paper holder were broken, the drier takes FOREVER to dry closes (in part because the lint trap looked like it had not been cleaned in literally YEARS), the floors are so dirty that you have to wash your feet before bed or your sheets get dirty, there are bed bug fitted sheets which is a concern, the beds were so bad and uncomfortable that we were all in back pain, no K cup coffee maker (pretty standard for the price), old balcony furniture, no extras of any kind. It is a room with a view but more like a very cheap hotel room with a view. For this same amount of money you have easily rent a house on a beach. If it was half the price as it should be, then I would say great but not for what we paid!

We loved this unit. It is as spectacular as the pictures show. The building comes with incredible amenities (all day valet parking, swimming pool, outdoor bbq area, gym, 24/7 security & front desk) that made our stay even more enjoyable. It is literally across the street from the Duke statue at Waikiki Beach. Our only two complaints are: - wish the weather & waves were better during our stay - lanai furniture and sofa cushions were old and worn from over exposure to the elements (reason for 4 star rating on cleanliness). This is the perfect place for families visiting Oahu and staying in Waikiki. We'll definitely be back.

Overall was adequate, but for the money paid it was disappointing that the toilet paper holder in the master bedroom was falling off the wall, the knobs on the stove top are worn off and you could not easily tell what setting you had the burners on, and the TV in the smaller bedroom would not connect to the cable box or the cable box was not working.

The unit was on the 35th floor so the views were great. The furniture and beds were above average for a rental and comfortable. We had a few issues with the lock and what looked like plumbing in progress but the management company sent the housekeeper over quickly and she was able to show me how to use the fancy electronic lock.

Loved our stay here and will be on the list to return someday. Can't beat the views and sounds of the ocean. Sliding doors open full length of living space, loved the open feel. convenient location to beaches, shopping and dining. Helpful they had some beach mats and beach towels. Beds were comfy. A little ackward with disorganized cleaning buckets in the closet I was to hang my clothes and store my luggage
