We just checked out of KaMilo 111 and already miss it! This gated community is one of the best we’ve stayed at here in Mauna Lani! The house is conveniently located just inside the gate, not too far from the pool. If we needed groceries or snacks, we could run right down to Foodland. In the evenings, we’d catch the sunset at nearby Holoholokai Beach/Petroglyph Park. If you’re one that likes to hang out at the pool or gym, you’re in luck because this community has really great options! There are 2 pools (quiet pool for adults and a separate family pool) and a hot tub, as well as a really large gym with great equipment!
We had 2 couples and 2 kids staying in the house and it fit everyone very comfortably. The layout was perfect because each family could have their own half of the house. It came with beach gear, a golf cart (loved this!), and a lovely lanai where we got to hang out in the evenings. And the kitchen came fully stocked with everything we could have needed.
Another big plus was how easy it was to communicate with the property manager, Kai. He was always just a text or phone call away if we needed him.
Overall, we loved our stay at this property, and would stay here again. Hopefully everyone else loves their stay here just as much as we did!

The condo was not maintained at all It was not very clean. Outside furniture was so stained that we put towels on it. One dish towel and one dish cloth and we were there for 1and 1/2 months. Lots of issues. Food in the refrigerator. We only had one key. Tv had to be repaired and the AC. I would not recommend this condo.

Property was spot on as listed. House was beautiful. Couple of small issues taken care of quickly, except tv which we didn’t really care much about. Communication with Kai was great!!
Beds were comfortable but pillows need to be replaced, really flat.

Our family loved this home and the surrounding area. The home was super clean, the air conditioning was amazing, the beds were great, the kitchen is perfect, Kai was easy to contact as needed to answer questions, and the gated community is immaculate. The backyard lanai is peaceful and has a beautiful view of the nearby golf course. The community pool and exercise room is within walking distance and both are super clean and beautiful. I would not hesitate to rebook this property. We had an amazing experience.

The condo floor plan, location, development were wonderful.
We were disappointed by the wear and tear. Broken blinds, broken lightbulbs, a refrigerator shelf that fell off and broke a bunch of eggs.
Broken glass dining table covered by a placemat. Very stained outdoor furniture. A water stain on the kitchen floor.
Wet sheets on one of the beds.
The property manager was very responsive, but many of these issues couldn’t be fixed.
We’ve never seen so much damage to a Mauna Lani rental over the 15 years renting around here.

A great place for a family stay: close to beaches, pool, and grocery; good shopping and restaurants not too far. Best of all for our mixed age group was the use of the house snorkeling equipment and sand play items. Bikes, golf cart and paddle board are also available. The neighborhood and shared pool areas are beautifully maintained, the house and kitchen have everything one could possibly want.

Our family of five (3 children, ages 22, 20, 14) had an incredible stay in Hawaii and at this home. The home was beautiful, with everything needed to cook, stay, and play at the pool and beach. The home was convenient to everything. We loved it and wished we could have stayed for longer.

We are a family of five and had so much fun on the big Island! We did something different every day as there is so much to do! Our condo in Kamilo was the perfect place to unload, clean up and recharge every day. The condo itself is beautiful with high end appliances including a giant TV, which is nice at the end of a long day. There are three spacious bedrooms, the master bath is big enough to do a cartwheel and a lovely little quiet backyard. The pool and fitness center where great. My favorite thing was to get up early to run around the resort and then take a dip in the pool. AHHH! My kids were not always up so early so they could do their workout in the the cool fitness center. This location is great as we are off the beaten path a bit but very close to the grocery store and the Mauna Lani shops. We are also very close to the Fairmont hotel and the Mauna Lani Hotel which has beach yoga every morning at 8:30 (Thursday with Maya was the best!) I recommend that you stay for breakfast as the Mauna Lani offers quite a feast! There is also a private beach just a short drive away with a fabulous restaurant, the Napua, great for lunch or a delicious dinner and you cannot beat the view!
If you are thinking of coming to the big Island and want some SPACE to spread Kamilo #111 is PERFECT!

My husband and I were in Hawaii for a business trip for him, so as we were already there, we decided to fly our children out for a week for vacation. This was in January and this was a wonderful place to be. This house looks beautiful online, but believe me, it is so much more when you are actually there!! It was so clean, and I mean CLEAN.....I am picky when it comes to that! The pictures don't do the master bath justice....it is enormous and beautiful. the shower itself is very large and fabulous. Our 2 daughters liked their bathroom, but loved ours and enjoyed using it!! There is a golf cart (and toys) in the garage that we used to run to the grocery store (right around the corner) which we all enjoyed, and to get to the beautiful pool!
My husband and son golfed on the course which this house is on, and they enjoyed it!
They were paired with 2 ladies and they had a lot of fun. TV/Living area was great...very comfortable. In the pictures, notice the doors open completely up to the back yard. it is BEAUTIFUL!! The golf course is right behind, but never any noise from that. The beds were VERY comfortable, and again, am pretty fussy about that too! The kitchen is wonderful to work in, and has almost anything you could need. Our whole family talks about this trip and the home we stayed in quite often. Although the majority of the trip was wonderful because we were together, and had a lovely time, I believe if the home wasn't SO wonderful, that would have had an impact on the memory of it. This is truly a home I would HIGHLY recommend! Hope we could return sometime!!!!!!! Sorry it took so long to leave a reply, wish I would have done it sooner! Thanks for the memories!

The area that the condo is located in is simply gorgeous, it is very close to some fun shops and really good food. The beaches are amazing and just minutes away by car. Great running and biking as well. The condo itself is completely amazing. The layout is great for families as well as friends. The lani doors open up completely to create a whole new addition to the house and keeps everyone connected whether inside or out. The kitchen has all you need and the appliances work great. The openness of the layout allows all to stay connected whether in kitchen, dining area or outside. It is very clean and felt like a home away from home.

We stayed at this property for 2 weeks with a family of 6 (all adults). There was enough space for us all, the lanai was great for entertaining in the evenings. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils/high end pots & pans/lots of cutlery/dishes etc. 3 nice bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, TV in each bedroom. Lots of beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel equipment & fins, Coolers, beach umbrella - everything you need was supplied. House is close to the pools/gym/garbage & recycle. The 2 cruiser bikes was a nice touch for after dinner rides. Great location with the market/stores/restaurants in walking distance. Beach club access was nice for days we wanted to stay closer to the house.
Kai - the property manager was a pleasure to work with. We have previously stayed across the street at the Fairway Villas and now prefer KaMilo. This is higher quality rental than most. We will definitely be rebooking this property!

We have stayed in this property with my family including two children. This property has plenty of room for 6 of us to spread out, very comfortable, very clean, in a great location and just just everything is perfect! Kids loved to play in a yard. Kitchen was amazing. We rented a golf cart which was great for exploring the resort and fun for the kids.
The property managers Kai and Burt are very responsive, accommodating and they could speak Japanese fluently.

We have stayed in this property with our two teenaged children twice. Obviously we love it as we keep coming back. Beautifully appointed, great location, plenty of room giving everyone the own bedroom and bathroom. We love the the Big Island and always stay in the Mauna Lani area. Having the beach club access is a great feature but we also drive around to other local beaches and this condo is very well located for that. Plenty of beach chairs, a cooler, umbrella, and beach towels. Everything you need for a relaxing stay in paradise! The property managers Kai and Burt are very responsive and accommodating.

Great property - plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out. Kitchen was amazing and had EVERYTHING you could need, more than any other place we have stayed. Very comfortable beds, plenty of seating through out the house and having a washer/dryer was such a nice bonus!
Tons of chairs and umbrellas for exploring beaches other than the beach club - speaking of the beach club...lovely beach with plenty of chairs and great snorkeling - even saw turtles! Paddle boards and snorkeling gear is available to rent and the restaurant was really good.
We rented a golf cart which was great for exploring the resort and fun for the kids.
The management folks were great and very accommodating and always quick to respond.
Can't wait to go back!

We very much enjoyed the home, community and proximity to island fun.
The kitchen was well appointed, the linens were luxurious and plentiful, and the back yard sitting area was our favorite place to be.
With any luck we will be back to the same house next year.
