We stayed almost a month and enjoyed every day! So many stores, restaurants and live music within walking distance. The condo is high up and on the water side so it’s quieter than most places in Honolulu. We needed a few extra items for the condo and they were delivered our first day. We enjoy the condo so much that we have stayed there twice so far. We bought a monthly parking pass for $150 at the Ala Wai Boat Harbor (at the SecurePark office). Plenty of pass parking right in front of the Ilikai Marina Condos. Parking in the condo garage is $840 per month. Perfect view of the Friday night fireworks next door at the Hilton. A perfect vacation!

Can’t beat the view, and location! Great size of the place, especially if you are traveling with just two. Anymore than 2 and it could feel cramped. It’s nice that there is a dividing wall between the master and living room if you did need to separate the two. The kitchen has all the appliances you need including a toaster, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, fridge/freezer, and even a rice cooker. They do only have 2 ice trays, so I would highly suggest getting bags of ice for the freezer if you plan on taking a cooler to the beach. There are also not many towels. There was only 2 sets (VERY SMALL) for 2 people for 10 days. But the unit says it can fit 4 people. If so, 4 people would each have 1 tiny towel to use for a long vacation. If we wanted clean towels we would have had to take them to a laundry room on another level and pay for the laundry, didn’t seem right for the amount you pay for the unit. It’s a small change that would have really helped our comfort along the stay. The bathroom does come with a hair dryer and curling iron which is nice to not have to pack if you know ahead of time. It also does come with 2 beach chairs which is very nice. Only other thing is the lanai chairs are metal folding chairs, but again, the view is unbeatable. All in all it was a great unit and stay and priced very well. I would highly recommend staying here and will be sharing the link with family and friends!!

I almost believe this company is a scam. This place was second place we stayed since the first place we have rented had a planned plumming project that resulted in extensive water shut off. They sent us an email at 6:30am on Saturday informing us that there will be a TWO MONTHS water shut off from 8am-5pm Monday- Friday starting Monday morning. It was not an emergency water shut off, it was pre-planned Plumbing Project that affected the unit we were renting from this company. They were impossible to get ahold of. Their two emergency phone numbers listed on their voice mail were, one, an old employee who no-longer worked there, and one that went straight to a voice mail. I truly thank VEBO for stepping in to help us navigate this disaster, but if you are looking at any properties (because they have a few on this island), I highly encourage looking at other listings. They were impossible to work with, also their units were not that clean. After getting re-located to this place in Ala Moana, they did it again! There was once again a planned water shut off that started on the day we were checking out at 8am. This time, they didn't bother to let us know at all. We found out about this because we happened to be paying attention in the elevator signs. Understand we are checking out by 10am, but we would definitely be using water while getting ready or cleanning the condo to be respectful. Highly unsatisfied with this company. This realty company is a horrible company with a bad reputation. They will rent out units knowing there will be a major construction or water shut off without informing the renters.

The Illikai Condos are a great place to stay. This one was very comfortable with a wonderful harbor view and close to DT Honolulu, very convenient. The lanai had a perfect view to the Friday fireworks at Hilton, as advertised. Would stay again.Managers were responsive and kind.

Hi, our stay was ok. I knew it would be small, but it was reaaaaaly small for our family of four. It was hard to have three suitcases plus carry ons in the place plus us. I think it’s a great rental for a couple though!
Our unit didn’t have linens for the pull out couch on our first night. When I called the unit manager, she acted like she didn’t believe me. She had to make a call and then called back saying they could’ve get any to us in til the next day. So we had one set of sheets and a very thin blanket for four of us. We had to sleep directly on a mattress. Gross. And the next day it was hard to get an update, and wasn’t until late in the day that we got the linens.
The kitchen is very sparsely stocked. Things like a pizza cutter are not there. No oils or seasoning other than salt and pepper. No dishwasher detergent (but yet a nice new dishwasher). And the water tastes really bad and their Brita doesn’t help unfortunately.
Location is closeish to Hilton Hawaiian village. If you stay here, go to the 2nd floor and cross over the bridge and go through the Modern hotel next door to access their nice above ground walkway. Far from the main beaches of Waikiki, and we ubered quite a bit to get places.
Bring binoculars, it is fun watching the surfers and other ocean activities from the very tiny balcony.
Overall, it suited us fine. We probably wouldn’t recommend it, but it is a nice cost efficient option if you want a view and a full condo.

Loved the sweeping marina view and the gorgeous sunsets from the lanai. The property was beautiful, well stocked with all the appliances...dishwasher, Ac, all kitchen appliances, cleaning appliances, hairdryer and curler(dint use it as the humidy had my hair curling up naturally!)
The sofa bed was quite comfotable for our 12yr old son. Overall our stay was quite relaxing. The property was clean and definitely recommend staying here for the price point.

That room Ilikai condo 1692, we can stay wonderful time with very beautiful view from the room especially sunset!
The equipment and service items are also make us wonderful stay in Honolulu.

The unit was right in front of the ocean and we were able to see some rainbows from the lanai! The kitchen was conveniently equipped and we enjoyed cooking our own meals.

Well, the view is superb! It makes up somewhat for the 2 other things that probably needs mentioning:
1. The bedding was of poor quality and didn't even fit the king size bed! Get new bedding and for a KING size bed.
2. I have never been in a vrbo place where they did not have a Guidelines/Instruction sheet on the counter when we arrived. It would have sure saved all day when we arrived trying to figure out the air conditioning, especially since the room when we arrived said 85 degrees! We have never been told anywhere that the sliding glass door needs to be completely closed for the air conditioning to work!!! We had to leave it open for a little air in the place and the 85 degrees. It is imperitive you leave those notes and guidelines on the kitchen counter when we arrive. Assume visitors don't know that! PB

Enjoyed our visit. but a few things for improvement. sliders and windows almost impossible to open! very old windows. Need better blinds as so much glare. had to wear my shades in afternoon. Bathroom? well. please install grab bar and bath strips or bath mat. so slippery! had to put small towel in tub. so I would not slip.
Lanai is listed . but only 2 by 3 .no way can you sit out there.
kitchen well stocked and plenty of towels. we appreciated it. a few minor improvements. thanks

So, it's a great view and priced reasonably. The location has its' advantages but it has drawbacks as well (noise, traffic, no swimmable beach nearby). It's clean and well furnished, but it is as plain as it gets.
The bad: location in the building is way down a long hallway. Combined with the 16th floor and it takes a bit to get in / out of the building. The sliding door is a beast (lucky to be 58 and in good physical shape) and the balcony is tiny and has tiny folding chairs. There are no supplies to make anything (no salt/pepper/sugar/powdered creamer for the coffee they "give" you). There are 2 microwave ovens bc the one above the stove doesn't work. Wear sunglasses to bed as the entire place is like the surface of the sun at about 7:00 a.m. There are lights in the soffit and in the living space but no way to turn them on. The tv works, but use a streaming app - we could not get the local channels to work. You must pull the curtain open by grabbing...the curtain - no wand or pully system. The AC worked great after a surprise visit at 8:30 a.m. by the grumpy maintenance guy. Oh, the pest guy came as well on a different day - poor scheduling by owner / operator. The shower drain is slow - very slow. No beach towels or umbrella, just beach chairs. Contrary to the description, you can park in the building lot. It's $28 a day with in / out privileges - do it as there's not much for alternatives.
The good: it is clean and the location is ok. The pub on the first floor is a bonus with a good happy hour and tasty food. The price is about right, given what I've described. I would not call it a bargain or a "fantastic" place to stay. On our return, we'll most likely look elsewhere.
This place could be so much better with a minimal investment to improve what I've detailed. Like a couple thousand bucks and it would be a much more pleasant experience.

Very beautiful stay! I really loved the view of the marina and the firework show! Absolutely stunning room! The only downside for me was trying to find parking in the building and then bringing up all our belongings to the room. I also wished we could checked out later but next time we will communicate better with the host on when weʻd like to check out. Otherwise, would 10/10 definitely be returning again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the condo. It's in a prime location and the views are incredible. Only issue was there was a power outage in the neighborhood and it caused the TV to go dead. I called the property manager and I guess they attempted to fix it, but it was not resolved.

Really enjoyed this space. Great view and spacious compared to a hotel room. Friday night fireworks from the Hilton next door is a really cool bonus. Fold out couch and room dividing sliding door allows for a two bedroom scenario. There is a small hallway to the bathroom so the bedroom and living area with fold out couch can access the bathroom independently. When you compare this to getting two rooms side by side in a hotel the cost difference is noteworthy. Spend the difference on fine dining, as you'll find that everywhere in Waikiki.

We visit Hawaii every year for sporting event and this was our second time at this property. It is one of our favorites I love the simplicity and cleanliness of it. My husband, three-year-old and I Will continue to book this for our visits. The location is great and check in is always so easy. Our son has been there now three times and he refers to this place as our Hawaii home.

Condo was exactly like the listing! It was in a really good area, we were able to walk just about everywhere. Parking was adjacent to the building and cost the same as any other location, very convenient. Would definitely recommend this condo to anyone/everyone!

This condo has great ocean views . Very smart layout and use of space. It was great to use the built in desk Space with ocean views for my remote work. Close walking distance to the popular beach yet away from the cluster of tourists. Very close to the large mall here wt lower priced dining options. It’s not a ultra modern newly renovated space but contemporary open layout and comfortable at a reasonable price. Very few other guests so felt private
Cons: Only one dead bug upon arrival, Otherwise not an issue. The pillows could be better and blackout curtains might help. And need a blender for protein shakes. No beach chairs or umbrellas so rent them on the beach if you need it.. I would recommend it overall !

Overall the stay was decent. Could of been better, and could of been worse. Found live cockroaches in the kitchen several times, even with keeping ALL food in the fridge - even crackers. So that was off putting every time when making breakfast lunch or dinner.
I would recommend the cleaning crew to deep clean the cupboards and drawers.
I will say that their communication was excellent and they did offer to come spray the place again but then we would have no where to go and have poison everywhere after we cleaned everything we would be using.

The condo was beautiful and have stayed at the Ilikai Marina almost every time I visited Hawaii. It was probably the best...until the cockroach infestation. I came home one night to find multiple cockroaches scattering on the kitchen counter. I was able to kill those 10, but had to kill 2 more the next night until someone finally sprayed the condo. Quite disgusting to say the least and if my wife would've been there we would have left for a hotel that night. It was probably just the time of the year and just got the luck of the draw. I did not have any food anywhere in the place, so I'm not sure where they came from or what they were looking for. I was disappointed to say the least. Other than that, I really loved the place.

It was easy getting checked in as you don’t have to go to a front desk. Easy to walk to several different locations restaurants beaches etc. it was a few cockroaches we saw when we first arrived but we didn’t stay in the room much or use the kitchen so i’m sure that helped keep them at Bay . Be sure to save extra time for cleaning before check out!

What you EXPECT FROM PROFESSIONAL. MANAGEMENT AND A SMART OWNER. Everything we expected and more…needed a dish drainer and tea towels for general clean up….delivered new, the next day!
HOA has the a/c filters cleaned every 3-4 moths….we been in places where mold was very evident, and the filters had more ‘wool’ than a wooly mammoth! Everywhere was spotless!

The pros include great communication before check-in, the location, view, and a "one bedroom" at a bargain price. The cons included an air mattress that doesn't hold air overnight, mold in the shower, and a dirty couch that needs to be professionally cleaned if not replaced. One of the selling features of the ad described the great view of the Friday night fireworks; however, turns out the fireworks have not taken place in over a year. We saw other reviews about the building being cockroach infested, and we only saw one the four days we were there.

We visit Hawaii every year and have stayed in the marina condos a few times before. It is the perfect location to be downtown but not have all of the crowds. You are right next to the Hilton lagoon and walking distance to downtown Waikiki. You have a beautiful view of the marina and and get to see some pretty beautiful sunsets. I have to say by far this was one of the nicest condos we have rented. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with accessories for cooking (not that we did a lot of that lol). I will also say I really liked the simplicity of the apartment, there were not to many decorations and trinkets and that was perfect for us. We had our two year old toddler and he had his suitcase of toys in the corner and I didn’t have to baby proof anything. It was a very easy check in and check out which is always nice. We are looking forward to renting with them again.

It was not very clear on all the amenities that they had such as hair dryer and coffee pot. Also the towels need to be updated and there were 3 of us and only 6 towels!! For a weeks stay you need at least 3 towels each

We had a great stay in Waikiki. We saw whales from the room, and we enjoyed watching all the boat activity. The condo was ok. The furniture is not comfortable and the place is crawling with roaches, literally they are everywhere. There are roach motels every 2 feet which is gross to look at and think about. We were within walking distance of quite a few restaurants and shopping places, so that was a bonus also.

great location, excellent view, condo is as described and shown in photos. overall in good condition, lanai on the small side but was nice to sit out to enjoy our coffee. property managers Aiko and Roy responded to our concerns very quickly. would stay there again if available on our next trip.
