Although the view is beautiful this property has seen better days. Carpet and furniture was beyond musty and needed to be replaced. Location is less than desirable due to property being surrounded by parks that attract homeless. Roosters were brutal. Started crowing at 2:00 am and kept it up all night.

Great location and beautiful room, but never found the DVD player mentioned in listing. Also No A/C but we were aware of that, so as long as storms don't bring humidity too high you can stay cool with the oscillating fans provided and window screen ventilation. The dining room light bulb flickered constantly like a strobe light but this could be corrected with proper watt light bulbs. The deadbolt on the front door was loose(needs tightening is all) and lock on actual door handle would not lock from the inside of unit. Overall this location was extremely pleasant and it truly would be hard to beat the view and spacious Lanai offered here. The views were breathtaking!! Noticed a bit of a bug problem just not sure if they were coming in from somewhere we were unable to notice (because we were sure to keep screens on the doors closed to avoid this very issue) Might just be time for a good exterminator. Overall we'd give this room 8/10 stars.

I think it would be impossible to beat the location - the property is just steps from the beach with miles of great sand and uncrowded strolling.

We loved the view of the ocean off the deck - gorgeous sunrises every morning and a cool breeze off the ocean every afternoon. We even saw whales passing from the deck. The bed was a little on the hard side, but overall the place was clean, easy to access, and a lovely experience. The location was great for beach access, right next to a beach park with a lifeguard. It wasn't within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops of that's important for you. We had a rental car so no issues for us. I would stay here again.

A peaceful, private feel to the condo! We loved this place. It felt like a restful retreat as soon as we walked in the door every time! The views of the ocean on the full glass wall are stunning! We would love to return!!

We stayed here for two nights and loved it. The property was clean, well-equipped, and check-in was super simple at the front desk. We appreciate the beach amenities, including beach towels, umbrellas, and a body board. The sunrise views from the patio are AMAZING: we woke early every day to enjoy coffee, watch the sunrise, then walk along the beach in the morning. A note on ocean safety: the waves at the beach here looked chaotic, but once we got into the water, it was relatively safe and swimmable. That said, if you have little kids, you'd probably want to consider walking a few hundred yards north to Lydgate Park's protected swimming areas.

My stay was amazing on this beach front property! The unit was clean, albeit a little dated, and had plenty of space for a work/play trip. The view and direct ocean sounds are stunning. I spent my time mostly NW of the location in Kapaa, but also moseyed to Princeville, Poipu, and other areas of the island. A 1.5ish mile (it's probably not even that far) stroll lands you at the closest market place, and it's an easy/breezy walk across the bridge and sidewalk. Closest bus stop, and bus is completely decent and reliable, nearby as well. Grab some snacks at the stores and stock up for all the adventures. There's no restaurant or stores on-site, but I knew that going in. There's a small pool, but it's completely fine for a quick dip at day's end. Lots of folks seemed to be using the bbq's as well, and were cheerful to chat and share. Beachfront directly by unit *is* swimmable, but not entirely recommended given coral and rock. Walk, 2 mins to the left and Lyndgate state park is right there. It's a locals beach, so you know pretty darn decent. Great playground there too, with plenty of lounging and parking available. Unit location is <10mins drive from Lihue (airport). I did not have a car (i know this is a thing right now...), but did completely fine with uber/lyft and bus. Give yourself a window of time if you're trying to catch one, and you'll be fine. It's island time :).

It was a fantastic stay in Lihue due to a very nice apartment at the beach with a very nice view. Everything was perfectly clean and the kitchen was fully equiped. The apartment is quite big
