Alii Kai 11B has great tropical views of both the ocean and the mountains, with nice updates inside. But what you notice most is the feeling of aloha from the moment you walk in! You wont feel like a visitor here, you'll feel like you belong in this condo furnished with comfort in mind. The convenient ground floor setting is peaceful and private with plenty of grassy yard around your lanai for children to play. Plus shopping, dining, and the charming town of Hanalei are just minutes away.

Alii Kai 11B is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Princeville condo with plenty of space either for a family or for two couples traveling together. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the guest bedroom. A queen size sofa sleeper in the living room provides an additional sleeping option. There's even a portable pack-and-play crib. There is a generously sized master bathroom, and a second full guest bathroom. A full kitchen, well-equipped, gives you the option of dining in. Set the table on your private lanai and enjoy views of the ocean, mountains, and waterfalls while you eat. Because Alii Kai 11B is ground level, you also get to enjoy a spacious yard area stretching to the green belt of jungle foliage, as well as high speed internet in case you can't forget work. Alii Kai 11B comes with beach chairs, a cooler, boogie boards, and snorkel gear.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place is "dated" but located in a nice area. Our electricity turned off in the unit on our 2nd day and we needed to reset the wifi, but we were out of the unit when customer service hours were open so we never got to reset it. There's no AC, but it was cool in the evenings. There was a washer and dryer, detergent was provided. There was an airbed provided for the 5th person to sleep on, but was constantly deflating. There were 2 bathrooms which was the main draw for me. Communication before, during and after the stay was good. When calling customer service, they were responsive and called back if they missed a call.

The view from the lanai was amazing with beautiful foliage and the mountains in the background on one side, and the ocean on the other. The condo is a little outdated but that is what added to its charm and made it feel authentic. The community is well taken care of and the pool is just steps away, and you can walk down the street to the cliffs to watch the sunrise and sunsets. We will be back :)

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Finding in the dark was a challenge. The unit was very clean with lots of towels. One dining room chair was badly cracked and unsafe. Peeling wall paper very noticeable in kitchen The bath tub was slippery, the strips on the tub were worn off. The front of the cabinet in kitchen was splintered in bad shape. Dining room light was out. no light out side front door and it was really needed. Sparse kitchen wear no plastic glasses etc. stove and oven worked but looked bad. Couldn't get Tv to work. Cd's were all empty. No paper or pens or paper available. The wall mounted mirrors in bathroom and dining area are corroded underneath. The bed was very comfortable. We would not rent this unit again. I wish I had been aware of it's flaws. The pictures didn't show any of it. It's a shame it's like this. It's beyond me why an owner wouldn't care for this unit better. fixing what was wrong would last a long time and give visitors an experience they expected. We still had a great time outside of the condo. See the pretty table picture? No table cloth,plastic glasses,candles monkey or candles. You need plastic glasses in the pool area. The view was nice

Good things: the management company was well-organized, communicative, and responsive; the place was clean, and the location beautiful: a really nice view from the lanai of a wooded little valley and the ocean. Less great things: the condo is old and has seen better days, the ceiling is thin so you get to know your upstairs neighbors a lot better than you probably want, the condo is positioned so that the sun makes half the place really hot in afternoons, the lanai is tiny and has no vegetation for privacy and is unusable from the early afternoon on because of the angle of the sun. This is the fourth VRBO place that I've stayed in Princeville, and by far the poorest value for money in terms of size and comfort. It was OK, but I won't be coming back.

The pool and bbq area were very convenient and clean. The rental unit was very clean but needed an update, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. Past rentals I have experienced in the same area over the past 6 years were updated which made the visit more enjoyable. The photo's on the VRBO website were a bit misleading.

The unit needed and update especially the kitchen and bathrooms. I have rented similiar 2bd room units in Kauai over the past 6 years and each unit was in much better shape, This unit was stuck in the 1980's. The furniture and cabinets were a bit shabby and the photo's on the web site misrepresented the actual unit.

This place is 20 steps from pool and the morning rounds of birds was fabulous. Don't feed them or they will stay. We watched a few neighbors make that mistake. This location is on the North side of island and is great for doing North side stuff. If you want to do South side activities you will need to leave early as traffic is bad going south. We really enjoyed the place highly recommend.

This condo was perfect for us. We had everything we needed supplied with chairs, coolers, boards, and ice by the pool by paying a dollar on the honest system. The only small issue was running the dishwasher the tab did not flip out of the container so the dishes had to be ran over. Loved the access to a washer and dryer, especially for salty clothes from ocean trips. We would stay here again. Property Management was diligent!!

Nice clean little condo. Beach equipment was a plus! We donated a couple items as well to the closet. Comfortable beds & linens. Great views off lanai & pool was really nice too! We would return!
