Condo is beautiful and very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and beds are comfortable. Property is well maintained and quiet. Only issue is it tends to get warm late in the afternoon because the windows get full sun and the ac can’t keep up. We mitigated by keeping the blinds closed during that time and positioning a box fan to pull cool air from the back bedroom. Worked fine. It cools off in the evening so no issue sleeping comfortably. This place just got better everyday. Everything was great...no detail forgotten. We so appreciated all the thoughtful touches (kitchen wares/beach chairs/plenty of charging plugs) that make you feel at home. The pool and its setup was amazing as well...full (nice) outdoor kitchen and multiple gas grilles, a clean and useable hot tub and pool, beautiful grounds and just a few steps to the beach. Out highest recommendations and many thanks to the VERY thoughtful owners! We will be back!! Mahalo

The moment you step inside, you will not want to leave! This retreat away from the exploring during the day gave us some much needed rest and relaxation. At night, we could open the windows, listen to the ocean, and the bed is like sleeping on a cloud! The condo is clean, well stocked with whatever you need, and the fact you can just walk to the beach is a huge plus! A serious recommend to any couple or family!

This unit was beautifully decorated and had absolutely everything you would would need for your stay. The location was close to the beach and the pool was also great. We grilled out on a poolside grill. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was so very convenient. Luxurious towels and bedding and even robes were an extra special touch.

Great location and great unit. Had all we needed and a few extras. I do recommend that visitors be aware of the amount o heat the air conditioning compressors throw off. Made it difficult to enjoy the balcony.

Three stars for a nice updated and clean unit with thoughtful and quality amenities and friendly guest services staff who tried to be helpful - unfortunately, docking two stars because the AC didn't work for our entire 6-day long trip, and it never got fixed despite an AC Technician being sent twice. It was extremely hot and stuffy in the unit, especially the loft, making it quite hard to sleep. It was really frustrating that despite alerting the management of the AC issues the day we arrived, they weren't able to get it fixed within our 6 day stay. The grounds of Luana Kai are beautiful but it wasn't as walkable as some other places I've stayed in Kihei, which meant we had to get in the car a lot. Overall a nice place but the AC issues really overshadowed the positives.

Excellent! This condo truly is a vacation retreat. Beautifully decorated, extremely functional, truly comfortable, including very comfortable beds, with everything one could desire. Grounds are well groomed with an amazing pool and spa. Just a few steps from the beach. Love, love, love this place.

Luana Kai is a perfect place for a family vacation. The checkin was super easy. The location is perfect. We watched sunset on the lanai, walked to the beach, we even saw two giant turtles on the beach the last day! The place is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked. We used the beach chairs, binoculars, and umbrella during our stay. Highly recommended!

The Unit was exactly as described and truly excellent. The extra touches included robes, fluffy towels, high quality bedding, cleaning supplies, beach paraphernalia, well equipped kitchen and starter soap, shampoo and conditioner. Every was clean and check in was a breeze with follow up emails. The location was ideal and I would stay in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful stay, it truly was PERFECT.

Best place we have stayed at in Hawaii. The owners made sure that everything we needed was supplied from beach towels to chairs. Fully stocked kitchen for utensils, even a rice cooker and instapot! Perfect place for a family or two couples. Super comfortable beds also. Thank you to our hosts! We loved our stay!

After looking at 100’s of listings and combing through the details of each, we chose this unit due to meeting most of our criteria. Like most of us we were looking for a unit with nice furnishings, good view from the patio, beachfront w pool and good location to resturaunts. This unit checks off all those. We are a family of four that spent a week here at Luana Kai and it had every amenity needed. More importantly the complex was family friendly and the pool was area was fantastic (not too crowded). We hope to come back every year and make a tradition of Maui.

This was a wonderful condo, very clean and well equipped with an ocean view. The beds were comfortable and the condo was fully stocked with whatever we needed. There was an awesome food truck place nearby with gourmet foods and shopping was accessible. Thanks for sharing your place with us. Sadly, my mom became sick and we had to fly home early but we would love to come back again!

The condo was beautiful, the beds were super comfortable and the sheets were amazing. Loved the layout, decor and the grounds were very well kept.
Our only complaint would be how far the condo is from the bustle of Kihei. The sidewalks near the condo weren't great for walking to town and the building didn’t have an elevator, which was a challenge for my 80 year old father in law.
I would probably stay closer to one do the public beaches next time but overall the condo met all of our expectations.

We really enjoyed our stay at Luana Kai. The unit was tasteful and clean. The kitchen was well equipped with all sorts of utensils, dishes, pots and pans, and even storage for left overs.
Both bedrooms were very nice.
There were beach toys, including chairs, boogie boards, a cooler and umbrella.
The grounds, pool and outdoor kitchen were nice.
It was near the beach, but the beach was pretty rough. You'll need to swim elsewhere.. There were some wind surfers using the adjacent public access.
A lot of thought went into equipping the condo to make our stay comfortable.

Our family of 6 had an AMAZING stay at Luana Kai. We traveled from Ontario, Canada to celebrate our 22nd anniversary. We booked through MyPerfectStays and our concierges Troy and Kai were phenomenal in helping us plan a fantastic week including surfing, snorkeling and a luau. The Luana Kai grounds were well kept and the unit absolutely gorgeous. Comfy beds, open layout with a well appointed kitchen, beautiful bathrooms and an amazing ocean view lanai. The owners thought of everything from bathrobes and luxury soaps and towels, to basic kitchen staples and beach gear for the fam (beach towels, Tommy Bahama Chairs, beach toys and a cooler). The pool and hot tub were small but just enough for a quick dip. It closed at 9 every night which was a bit of a bummer. There was also a sauna. Don’t miss the gorgeous sunsets and the incredible turtle show every evening at the beach as they come to shore to sleep for the night. ( turn left and keep walking about 5-10 min) We saw 24 one night! Kihei was a perfect central spot to tour the island and there were tons of restaurants (even a McDonalds!) and grocery stores ( Safeway, Foodland) within a 5 min drive. We really enjoyed staying at this condo in Kihei because it is away from the crowds, but also easy to get to all the best beaches, restaurants and fun. The condo itself was perfect for us. We loved the layout for our family, because the kids were upstairs with their own bathroom and then we had plenty of space on the main level. The kitchen is great, fully stocked and even had sharp knives! The closet full of beach supplies was awesome. We used the chairs, sand toys, boogie boards and cooler every day. And the lanai facing the water was so nice to have, with beautiful sunset views. The beds and linens were so comfortable. Everything about this place was fantastic! The communication was great as well, can't say enough good things about this place!

We were looking to extend our Maui vacation by spending a few days on this side of the island. With two couples, it was important to find 2 bed/2 bath accommodation. We also wanted a balcony, a washer/dryer, a pool, beachfront and a view at an affordable price for Maui. Not asking for much, right?! This location met all of our criteria. Easy driving distance to groceries, restaurants and several beaches. We travel a lot and appreciate the communication we received from the property managers. Trust me when I say, that is not always the case. Thank you to the owners for sharing your condo.

We loved unit B306! You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the decor and amenities. The beach theme is gorgeous and the dark blue wall was the perfect backdrop to this stylish condo. The kitchen is stocked with anything you need (hello, Instapot, electric kettle and bar tools!!). Beds were super comfy and we had an abundance of pillows! Plus, the beach acessories were the best we've ever encountered: 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, 4 boogie boards, sand toys, a great rolling cooler and more. If you want to relax in Kihei, this is the place!!

We were underwhelmed by the property when we pulled up, however once we got inside our condo, we were blown away. So perfectly decorated - high-end accents throughout and SO much light with the loft and high ceilings/windows. Definitely nice to be up on the 3rd floor. The place is stocked with literally everything you need to make whatever food creations you desire. Very, very clean, amazing beds, soft towels. The owners really put a lot of thought into this unit. The custom accents make you feel like you're in a special place, too. The complex itself is not "amazing" in my standards - the beach out front is a bit of a walk as there is a public grassy park in front of the property on the beach side and the beach here is not the best. The pool is very small considering the amount of space on the property and the pool chairs etc. were pretty old and warn. The grounds are well-manicured and overall it's not "bad", just not as great as some other communities I have stayed at. Also, I wouldn't say the property is "walkable" meaning it is a mile or two from some of the downtown Kihei restaurants, beaches and communities. That being said, it was quieter down this way. The front desk staff as well as the manager of the unit were really great, easy to get ahold of and let us have an early check in which made us very happy :). I highly recommend this unit!

We appreciated all the dishes and appliances, sharp knives, casserole dishes etc. There were plenty of towels.
