The place was exactly as described and had all the necessities for our trip, it even had multiple beach towels to use. The view of the beach from the balcony was great and we could even see a couple luaus happening on a nearby building’s rooftop. It was only a few steps to Waikiki beach along with many options for shopping and restaurants. Valet parking was very convenient. Overall a great choice for a place to stay.

Room could do with updating (coat of paint to modernise and shower needs more power). Storage for clothes is limited

Stayed in this apartment in June 2023 for 8 days. Was exactly as described and represented great value for money considering the amazing view of the lagoon. Was a bit further from the main strip than expected but this turned out great since Waikiki can be very noisy at night. This apartment was clean and well equipped. We appreciated the beach towels! The hotel has pretty good amenities so you get the hotel vibe without the price tag. We would recommend for those looking for a better value option with easy walking access to Ala Moana shopping centre and Waikiki beach.

Communication with Jeannie was easy. Room was roomy and very comfortable. Clean and best of all amazing view to Hikton lagoon and ocean. We got to see a luau from our balcony. Beds were comfy and bathroom was very spacious. Easy acess if your driving. Overall great rental! Would highly recommend booking.

The unit could use some updates. The shower churtins, drapery were falling off the hooks. The toilet needs some adjustments as it kept running after flushing. We had to shake the handle a few times to get the water to stop running. Maybe update the parking & laundry information. Other than this you would totally overlook these things because the location & view are totally amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

Suite was as shown. It was a bit dated and the couch bed was very uncomfortable. We purchased a bed foam and that helped. Otherwise, we were very comfortable. and happy.

This property was not accurately described in the VRBO description. The furnishings and decor were not what was pictured on the listing. I absolutely don’t understand how some of the other reviews said it was accurate. Upon entering the unit we immediately noticed 2 BULLET HOLES in the floor! Upon further inspection there was a bucket under the kitchen sink drain, significant torn material on a chair, buffet was in extremely poor condition, tin foil on the stove drip pans, rusty knives, rusty garage type shelving in the bathroom, minimal outlets, 1 hook in the bathroom, toilet had to be jiggled to stop running, plywood shelf holding microwave was missing molding, safety pin to hold curtain shut, 1 flat small pillow per person, beds on rollers readily slid on the floors, hairs on comforter, sheets did not stay on the futon couch at all. I have pictures and will gladly send them.

This condo was well furnished. They provided soaps, towels, brooms, large size TV, pull out futon, two full size beds, the lanai is huge and the view is amazing. Bathroom door should be replaced and shower curtains are cleaner to better match the rest of the condo. Bring your own seasonings.

This property is exactly as represented. View may actually be better. We found Waikiki wasn’t for us and preferred our time on the north shore but if you’re staying in Honolulu, this property cannot be beat.
Check in process and communication were spot on. Unit is very clean as well.
Completely recommend this property. Worked fine for a family of 4 with an 11 yr old and 14 yr old.

Diamond in rough. Good views and nice location. Very worn and not clean. For the $3k deposit we expected everything to be nice. We stressed the entire trip worrying about getting our deposit back. Sent many notes to property manager about issues like running toilet, leaky faucet, and cleanliness and never heard back. This could be a great place with a paint job, replacing the very worn and or torn furniture, fixing the curtains, replacing the bedskirts (holes, dirty, and some kind of red marker on them), and a bit of maintenance. Wish others had left more honest reviews. We have stayed at the Ilikai many times before but not this room.

This location gives you all the Hawaii vibes. Close to everything. Great view of the beach front and lagoon at the balcony. No free parking but you have a lot of parking options. The property is clean and enough to accommodate 5 or 6 people.

Great place to stay. Close walking distance to the ocean. Accommodations were great. The floor was a little sandy but we swept it up. TV didn't work all that great but we weren't there for TV anyway. We didn't have to communicate with property management so gave them a five star anyway. Although she texted me to open our door to turn the knob to the right after our code but it only worked if you turned it to the left.

Not as updated as in listing/photos. The curtains are still hanging off of broken hooks which detracts from the appearance of the room.
TV instructions given are not for the controllers provided, so we had 2 nights with no TV. No help given by our host Jeannie, other than us having to make phone calls to others for help with it. We only were able to find 2 electrical boxes with connections for small appliances & iPad/iPhone charging. The beds were very comfortable but the the hideabed was not.
The hotel building staff were very helpful in letting us make outside calls & attempting to help us set up our TV so we could watch it. The view was fantastic!!!

This place was fine… the view absolutely fabulous. The building is old and it showed in some places. Like the bathroom doors sticks ..at times didn’t think I would be able to get out…took both hands to open. Not very many electric outlets for charging phones, etc. the beds were just ok. Overall while a little on the expensive side, I would definitely rent again…

This condo is in a great location with a fantastic view. It was furnished with everything you would need for a vacation rental ( perhaps a couple of beach chairs would be nice addition). Upon arrival it was clean, had great air conditioning and double beds were very comfortable. Great patio with table and chairs for outdoor dining. Sadly a portion of the curtains was not attached to the track but caused no problem. Management was quick to respond that a maintenance person could come to fix it but we opted not to deal with it during our stay. Would suggest touch up painting, especially the bathroom door. Great valet parking service available. Would stay here again.

The location was great, the apartment was rundown, old, not maintained. No storage place, dirty microwave, dirty crockery. We had booked for 5, the sofa was broken and needed replacing this was not done for our first night leaving us short one bed! The reviews said “ beach chairs available” ours had nothing. Our family stayed in other apartment at Ilikai which was lovely and well maintained. I would not recommend to stay at this apartment.

Fantastic location with breathtaking view!
We cooked in the room, which has kitchenette, and was stocked with all kitchen utensils you require for your stay. We didn't use the oven, just the top, which was enough, to supplement the microwave.
Shopping for food was nearby at Farmland Foods, quick 6 mins uber drive.

This condo was perfect for my family and I short stay. It would have been perfect for a longer stay as well. Quiet in the evenings, comfortable beds and all the accommodations you need. The view is very nice and relaxing. A full size fridge and freezer for home cooking/ leftover. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and countless restaurants. The resort itself has a nice feel and the valet service is super convenient and they are very friendly. I would recommend this listing to other small groups.

For the price you cannot find a better property in Wakiki. It was exceptionally clean and the view was great. Just a short walk to the ABC store for groceries and beverages. A quick walk around the lagoon and you are on the beach. We had one issue when we arrived, the sliding door opened and then wouldn't shut all the way. We messaged the owner right away and called the maintenance number in the binder, but we didn't hear back until the next day and no one was sent out to resolve the issue. We spent 1/2 of the first night with the door ajar by several inches until we finally managed to get it closed because the noise was keeping us up. Based on the condition of the door track this wasn't a new problem. This didn't ruin our trip, but I wasn't impressed with the response. I highly recommend getting a drink at the roof top restaurant during happy hour when you arrive- best My Tai in the city. Dave's ice cream on the first floor was delicious too.

This condo is situated in a wonderful location! Shaded in the afternoon with a cooling breeze and a fabulous view! Beds are super comfortable. Also, the restaurants at the hotel are actually quite good and not as busy as next door. Bring anything you may need, like spray cleaner, pen and notepad, etc.

Having a condo at the edge of Waikiki made getting in and out of the area easy. We traveled out of the area during the day, but enjoyed the plethera of food options in Waikiki at night. The condo was more than enough space for our family of 5. Would return for sure.

Amazing view and the two real beds were excellent quality. The fold away couch bed was pretty springy but I guess that’s to be expected. Kitchen was missing a strainer and a spatula. The floors in the apartment seemed clean but I think they didn’t clean the outside balcony floor because our feet were filthy after being out there and we kept having to clean our feet in the shower. we used the mop that was provided and it helped a bit. The railings on the balcony are far enough apart that a toddler could fit through them, so it’s a bit dangerous if you have a little kid. We were very worried about our two-year-old because he could fit his head through the railings meaning that he could fit his whole body through there and it was 14 fours up. Overall the place is good and the owner responded immediately to the phone call because we had trouble with the passcode to get in the door but it was sorted out very quickly.

The view from the small lanai is fantastic, and the beach and the marketplace at the Hilton Hawaiian Village is a short 10-minute walk from the room. The only issue I had was that unlike most VRBO locations, this kitchen and refrigerator were bare. Pots, pans, utensils, and plates. Treat this like a hotel with a kitchenette, and bring all of the food you need.
The valet parking is expensive, with a flat rate per day and tipping on each entry and exit, but there is no reasonable way to avoid it. This is a perfect location in Honolulu.

The property was clean and suffice sleeping for 3. The view for 7 days was beautiful. Easy access to and from the bldg and unit. But the area is very expensive. Save a few bucks at the stores by walking down a few blocks either way. Just the Waikiki location in the heart of everything is very expensive. We loved the place we stayed and would def book again.

The condo was high up in the Ilikai tower, providing solid sunrise and sunset views. It’s conveniently located to access anything in downtown Honolulu. Check in process was very easy as well.

I was in Honolulu for a family wedding. I wanted to be in Waikiki, but couldn't pay the hotel room rates. This was a perfect option for me, my sister, and 2 adult nieces. The location was close to everything we needed. The room has a great view of the marina and lagoon, with the ocean beyond.
