Our stay at Cara and Sig's property was hands down our best experience in the Maui Kamaole! The condo has everything needed to make for a very comfortable stay! The condo is perfectly located to the lower pool, easy early walks to the beach and perfect views of the Maui sunsets! Little need for AC as the Condo catch's the refreshing Maui cross breezes perfectly! Cara and Sig respond quickly to questions and deal decisively with any issues that may come up! Cara and Sig are a real pleasure to deal with ! We will definitely stay in their unit again!

We were delighted when we arrived at the condo on our first day. It is spacious, exceptionally clean and beautiful! Cara and Sig have thought of everything including a very expansive spice rack. There’s even a to go coffee cup if you want to make your own coffee before leaving to see the sights.
Beds were very comfortable - my SIL slept on the Murphy bed and said that it was great! Some Kihei restaurants are within walking distance and it’s fun to walk down to the beach for early morning strolls or evening sunset watching. Walking back up was fine for me but if you have limited mobility, you might consider driving to the beach instead as it is all uphill but there is a nice concrete walkway. The pool was a great temperature and not too crowded in the evenings which is when we prefer to swim.
We will definitely rent this unit again if we come back to Kihei and highly recommend to others! Cara is great with her communications and very responsive!

We loved the grounds surrounding the condo, beautiful well kept landscaping. The unit is perfectly located in the complex. Close to the pool (a pristine, warm pool which we loved!) and the walking path to the beach to enjoy the sunsets. It is situated so that you have full privacy, never seeing in anyone else's unit or other people seeing in this unit. Lanai is perfect for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. We were impressed by how clean the condo was, and really enjoyed the updated and modern furnishings and well appointed kitchen. Cara was always quick to respond to emails and questions and provided wonderful recommendations for dining and things to do. Furniture was comfortable and clean. Murphy bed is so convenient, you don't have to make up the couch every morning. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

We enjoyed a week in this condo with our two teenaged sons 12, 15. The condo was immaculately clean, spacious, well-equipped in the kitchen as well as with beach accessories. The property is located a short walk from the beach and is walkable to many restaurants and shops. The lanai is huge, very private and provides views of the amazing Kihei sunset. The amenities and beautifully manicured resort make for a relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend staying here and dealing with Cara has been super easy, her blog also provides many tips to enjoy your stay!

We have stayed at MK multiple times, we love this property. This condo was hands down our best one yet! Huge for a 1 bedroom, and the Murphy bed is a game changer if you’re traveling with kids. Clean and spacious. 10/10 would definitely rebook for a future visit.

The entire process of booking the condo was easy - any time I had questions Cara answered me so quickly! The condo was clean, nicely decorated, lovely, quality linens and towels, well equipped kitchen, lots of storage, lots of beach stuff - everything we needed to create an incredible foundation for our Maui vacation! This condo was perfect for our family of four! The beds were super comfortable and the air condition worked fantastically. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cookware we needed. I also appreciated all the beach gear - umbrella, beach chairs, boogie boards and towels. It was in a great location close to one of our favorite beaches - Keawakapu and just a short ride to Wailea. Our kids especially enjoyed both of the pools. We had a really great time!

We loved our stay at this Maui property. It was perfect for our family of four. The location was excellent with shopping and several amazing beaches within walking distance. The grounds of the property were immaculate and both pool areas very nice. An assigned parking space was much appreciated.
The condo is very large for a one bedroom (larger in fact than some two bedrooms that we looked at), and the second bathroom and Murphy bed were great to have for our two teens. The kitchen is well equipped with everything one could need, including high end appliances and easy access to Weber gas grills for your grilling needs. Nice touches included other essentials such as spices, aluminum foil, storage bags, dishwasher and laundry detergent, beach chairs and towels, and even a cooler for long days away.
The condo was spotless on arrival and communication with the owners was excellent prior to and throughout the stay. We had zero problems arise during our stay but have no doubt they would have been resolved quickly if anything were to have come up.
Thank you for an amazing stay in Maui- we will definitely keep this one on our list of must stays!

We stayed in this property in early February and everything about our visit was just as we expected based on other travelers' reviews. Cara was available and quickly responsive to texts the couple of times that we reached out to her with questions. The condo is meticulously clean and well-appointed. We appreciated the beach chairs, towels, etc. There were even books to pick from for a quick vacation read :) A 5min walk gets you to the beaches, along with some of the best sunsets we have ever seen. Every evening we walked over with some wine and food, and just watched the sunset with the whales "dancing" in the background. It was truly amazing, and we could tell it was also a mix of locals and travelers. The location was central, and our stay was very comfortable!

Fabulous vacation at Maui Kamaole I-103. Clean, modern and very spacious for our family of 3. We loved the huge walk-out lanai and close proximity to the main pool, with gorgeous sunsets from our patio! The Murphy bed was very convenient, with drawers for clothes next to it, helping keep things tidy. The owners thought of every detail needed for a welcomed stay ~ including to-go cups, a Brita water filter, and interesting books and CD’s for all ages for quiet time, or rainy days.
The condo was stocked with the best beach equipment, and we enjoyed the back-pack chairs, large rolling cooler and umbrella everyday. Beach rackets, snorkel gear and beach balls were also on hand for us to use.
Thanks so much Cara & Sig!! We are looking forward to our next stay already!

The place was exactly like the photos. Very quiet area, but still convenient to all the restaurants and bars. Well equipped kitchen for those that enjoy cooking.

Cara's place was the perfect place for our vacation on Maui. It was very quiet, clean, and well maintained. The condo is spacious and has everything that you need for a great stay: comfy beds, a wonderful Lanai with sun loungers, beach chairs, cooler, sand toys, and if you want to cook, you will find everything you need in the nice kitchen. We also loved the condo complex which is probably one of the nicest ones in Kihei. Location is superb as the Kamaole Beaches as well as some shops and good restaurants are within walking distance. This condo met all out needs and surpassed our expectations. The add didn't mention the pull out couch and that was a bonus when we arrived on top of the available murphy bed, two great bathrooms and a nice location near all the stuff we love to do. Perfect for four to five people. Cara was amazing, and made sure all our needs were met with plenty of resources about the condo and Maui. We cant thank you enough!!!!

We are returning renters to this beautiful condo at Maui Kamaole. It works very well for our family of four. We love the lanai for morning coffee and evening relaxing at the end of the day! Great location and beautiful grounds. It has all that we need. Cara is a great host and we appreciate the care they put into their properties and to make sure we have a great stay. pools are very nice and the beach is so close. We hope to get back to Maui again and would stay here a third time!

We've stayed several places around the island and loved this place. Often maui condos have long narrow floor plans and small lanais. Loved that this condo had a super wide living area with glass wall and sliders to a large private patio where there was always somewhere shady or sunny to sit. Loved sitting out in the morning and watching the birds walk around and sing.
Other highlights of the condo were the extra comfy king bed in the master - perfect level of firmness for me, and also not bouncy so you don't get woken up by the other person rolling over! I'm picky and this bed was great. Also the condo seemed very soundproof, did not hear any TV or talking from our neighbors!
Finally, the owner is local which is great. One day we had a injured bird on our doorstep and Cara got someone over to take care of it in an hour. I have had past experiences with non-local owners and having to call other time zones to deal with issues and it was not great. This was super convenient. Also, the condo was really well-stocked with beach equipment. 2 full-size boogie boards, 4 backpack beach chairs,etc., in very good condition. Loved this!
We are a family of three with a teenager, and he really enjoyed the comfort of the murphy bed. much better than the usual pull-out sofa, and easier to put away in the morning. Another little thing: the lock is a keypad! Can't tell you how convenient it was not to have to carry keys around. I want to get one for my door at home!
Lastly, Maui Kamaole really has nice facilities. Excellent pools that are a good size! Nice new BBQ grills. beautiful plantings and lots of birds. And an easy walk to Kamaole lll beach. I really liked not having to go to a hotel beach (i.e., Wailea Beach) . Kamaole III was wonderful.

Our second stay here in this beautifully updated condo. Love the two bathrooms and laundry facilities. This place is amazingly super clean. You can tell the locally - owned owners take great pride in their property. The condo is in a very quiet complex, private lanai to enjoy coffee in the morning. You can even enjoy a small view of the ocean. I would have no problem returning for my third visit to this great place some day!

This is a beautiful condo and it is very spacious. The bedroom is huge with a comfy king size bed. The fold-up Murphy bed in the livingroom is easy to fold away and great if you have an extra person or two and don't want to rent a two-bedroom. The ground-floor lanai is large, south-facing and more private than most lanais. The Maui Kamaole grounds are lovely and the pool is great. Very nice to have beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas to take to the beach. Loved it!

This condo was an added bonus to being in paradise! It was perfect in every way. Cara and Sig were great hosts and welcomed us with coffee and macadamia nuts and had all the necessities we needed to make our holiday awesome! Any questions we had they were more than helpful and gave us great suggestions on what to see and where to eat. It had everything we needed to cook our own meals, even all the bbq utensils. It is so big and comfortable. We truly loved our view and the privacy that we had on our lanai. The grounds are so well kept and beautiful. The pools and hot tubs are great, each one is a little different. Our favorite is the higher one with all the tropical plants surrounding you. Beaches are close to walk too, and even more fun with the boogie boards and mats and coolers to help make it that much more enjoyable. It was all A plus! We had many family members here as well for a holiday and all 30 plus of us attended the luau at the Marriott in Wailea it was an very memorable evening. We were treated fantastic, we all felt so special right down to the 2 years olds who were able to dance on stage. MAUI is home, we love it and will be back again. Thanks again Cara and Sig.

This condo was perfect for our 4 night stay. Cara was an amazing host, and I didn't even meet her! She left us coffee, macadamia nuts and a few chocolates to get us started. The condo was so convenient to access (door code) and fully equipped with everything we needed, all we had to buy was food. The kitchen is fully stocked with spices, sugar, sandwich bags, aluminum wrap, dishwasher tablets, and all the staples. There is a coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, and best part... an amazing set of sharp knives! The condo is really spacious, with a big lanai (ground floor), 2 bathrooms, 1 bedroom and a pull down cupboard bed in the living room. Lots of entertainment provided, 2 TV's, books, DVDs, boogie boards, tennis rackets, beach umbrella, chairs, mats, etc. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, and the condo pool area is right next door, with barbecue facilities, snack & drink vending machines, a pool and hot tub! There is a better pool area further up into the complex which has a rock pool & hot tub with lots beautiful trees and plants around. The area is also nice and near Wailea, shopping & restaurants. Kihei is also a great starting point for exploring the rest of the island, Haleakala Volcano, Drive to Hana, etc. Would definitely recommend this place, comfortable for at least 4 people.

This spacious condo was a restful place to get away during our stay in Kihei. Cara and Sig thoughtfully provide all the necessities and then some! We really appreciated the kitchen and BBQ areas for making our own meals, and it is close to visit some of the great restaurants nearby. (Cafe O'Lei was a favorite) We really loved the coffee machine and grinder and were able to enjoy many great cups of coffee on the lanai, enjoying our ocean view and the park-like grounds of Maui Kamaole. We were thankful to be able to use the air conditioners once in a while when it got really humid (one in the bedroom and one in the living area). The hallway closet provided all the basic beach equipment we needed that week -- plus boogie boards! It was fun to try boogie boarding in the ocean at Kamaole III beach, which is an easy, few minutes’ walk from the condo even carrying the boards. We snorkeled at Keawakapu beach, a few minutes down the road the other way, and saw many amazing fish that we had previously seen at the Maui Ocean Center. I would highly recommend visiting the aquarium first so you can identify all the fish you see! Overall, this was a very restful week, in a super quiet condo, with all the comforts of home... we did not want to leave, so we will definitely be back!

we chose this unit for our children (both young adults) over others that were also highly acceptable (but little less $$) for the following reasons: 1.the owners have multiple properties and vast majority of reviews have been 5 stars. 2. photos speak volumes. 3. unit is contemporary, a little over 1,000 sq/ft.
my wife and i visited our children some evenings and in addition 2 the above we saw that the unit is far enough away from s. kihei road which minimizes traffic noise, the parking spaces r very close 2 the condos, as r the 2 bbqs' (mfg is weber!) the 2 ac units r efficient and quiet. nuff said.

We spent 2 weeks in this lovely condo and it met all our needs. The owner, Cara, was easy to deal with, there was plenty of space even with the Murphy bed down and it was very clean. The location is good, it is a short walk down a hill to get to the beach and some local restaurants. If you are with kids you may find it easier to drive then carry everything - we did. We just drove down the road to a different beach each morning the first week then spent the 2nd week revisiting our favourites. If you are in Paia do try the Fish Market, also the Maui Brewing Company's Pub in Kahana was very good and well priced. This was our 3rd trip to Maui and I am sure we will be back and we would love to stay here again.
