The space
This property complies with all local vacation rental regulations! This expansive unit spans the entire rooftop of the Bamboo Waikiki, with the amenities the hotel has to offer, but privately owned and operated. The wrap-around private rooftop lanai (balcony) provides 1,200 square feet of private and furnished outdoor space to lounge and relax. Soak in the sun, or relax under the shaded gazebo out on the lanai! The panoramic view provides 360 degree views of the ocean and mountains! Please note that we have one security camera on the lanai.

The spacious 1,300 square feet interior offers 2 bedrooms (California King in the Master and Queen in the guest bedroom), 2 full baths, and a large living/dining area. The Living Room has a Queen size Tempur-Pedic sofa bed, with plenty of room for two comfortable rollaway beds. The condominium comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. The full kitchen is fully stocked and includes an oven, stove range, microwave, and refrigerator if you prefer to cook. The unit also includes a full-size washer and dryer so you'll always have clean, fresh clothes and bathing suits! High-speed internet provides plenty of bandwidth for streaming and work! An incredible value in the heart of Waikiki!

Amenities in the building include a saltwater pool, hot tub, cozy cabanas, and outdoor garden. Onsite parking for one (1) car (max 5'-10" height) is available at a discounted rate of $25/day plus tax (the hotel charges $30). Please request parking if you'll need parking so we can make the arrangements.

Please remember that this is a private unit, not part of the hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to resolve them as soon as possible.

The only way to guarantee an early check-in is to reserve the condo for an additional day. Likewise, we do our best to accommodate late check-out requests but we cannot guarantee a late check-out unless you reserve the condo for an additional day.

To protect the host and guest, we must verify all guests ahead of the stay. Please be aware as part of the verification process, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, and pass through our guest portal.

We will be placing a security deposit hold for $750 on your credit card through a secure payment portal. This is a hold, not a charge, and will be released after your stay, provided there are no issues.

Accommodations were perfect! 360 view including view of the ocean. We are so relaxed…ready to move to Oahu. Owner/manager was very easy to work with. (Note: there is one flight of stairs so doesn’t accommodate anyone physically challenged.)

The penthouse condo was a fantastic venue for my extended family to gather. The condo was everything we expected it to be...spacious, clean, all the amenities we needed and with a great penthouse view of Waikiki. Additionally, John and his group were attentive to all my questions before our trip and were easy to get hold of before and during our stay. We had five star treatment all the way. What an incredible place to stay in Waikiki. The waves were super nice during the week we were there and the Vrbo was a stone's throw from the beach. We also made full use of the wrap around lanai for dinners, games, drinks, and just catching up. 100% would recommend. My only recommendation would be clearer instructions for how to get into the property as that was a bit confusing at the end given the entrance was non-obvious. Overall, fantastic property.

The place is clean. The manager is friendly. However the parking is small. It is a bit difficult for you to park if you have a mini van, and the smell in the parking is awful because the parking for PH's guests is near the trash can.

Renting from John was a great decision. The condo was very clean, located centrally in Waikiki, and fit myself and 5 friends comfortably. Great place to host my birthday but because it’s a hotel, noise complaints are possible. Overall, the stay was great and John was a great host. Mahalo!

It was amazing. Private floor with surrounding views so we could enjoy mountains and ocean! Kids loved the pool after the days’ activities and it was comfortable with the AC when needed (breezes were usually enough). We would love to come again. Thanks John for being so responsive, too!

The stay exceeded expectations. The location is fantastic. The penthouse views Oceanside and mountainside contain beautiful morning and night picturesque skylines. Truly wonderful. The kitchen is open and the apartment spacious. The one thing I would say is the 2nd bedroom is directly inline with the elevator and the noise is a bit unexpected at times. Besides that, our stay was beautiful, the Aloha experience was everything, and would highly recommend this place to stay while for a Waikiki experience.

A handful of my friends and I stayed here for about a week. The unit has a great location. Clean, comfortable, spacious and safe. The unit had everything we needed-- the foldable chairs were a plus to take to the beach, and having an in-unit w/d was so convenient. The lanai is so expansive and wraps around the entire unit-- we enjoyed spending mornings and nights enjoying the breeze-- some of us even fell asleep out there. I think it would be nice to even have some pool lounge chairs out there to sun bathe. John is incredibly responsive, accomodating and addressed all issues immediately. He cares about his properties and it really shows. Can't wait to visit again.

We had a great and relaxing time. Fantastic location - easy walk to the beach, international markets, shops. Clean, comfortable and safe. Perfect amount of space for remote school and work.
