This east-facing studio offers spectacular views of the ocean, Diamond Head, and the Waikiki skyline, all from your lanai (balcony) and the inviting living room. You're just a short stroll away from the golden sands and crystal-clear waters of the world's most famous beaches.
For your convenience and comfort, this unit boasts an open layout with air conditioning to keep you refreshed. It's thoughtfully furnished with a queen-size bed, an adjustable height table perfect for dining or work, and a flat-screen TV to unwind. The kitchenette is fully equipped, featuring a two-burner stovetop, microwave, full-size refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans, silverware, and cooking utensils. Stay connected with wireless high-speed internet and cable TV.
All your linens and towels, including beach towels, are thoughtfully provided. Laundry facilities are conveniently located on the 6th floor and can be operated with coins or credit cards.
The expansive recreation deck on the 6th floor of the Island Colony is a true gem. Enjoy a large pool, hot tub, sauna, gas BBQ and picnic tables, a fitness room (for a small one-time fee of $5), showers, an ice machine, a convenience store, a café, and a coin or credit card-operated laundromat. Your comfort is our priority!
Parking is available in the building for just $35 per day (price is subject to change), and you'll appreciate the open-air lobby, ATM, trash chutes on every floor, and round-the-clock security. If you want to explore the island, you'll find car, scooter, and bicycle rentals right on the ground floor of the building.

CAR/BIKE RENTAL INFO:
- There is an hourly Car Rental via Drive Hui - 2 stalls located within the Island Colony parking structure.
- There is a Bicycle Rental via Biki - Rental station across the street from the Hotel, on Seaside and Ala Wai Avenue.
- There is also a car rental company located on the 1st floor.
THE COMPLEX:

Check-in: any time after 3:00 PM
Check out: any time before or at 10:00 AM
Regarding early check-ins or late checkouts, we're unable to confirm those requests at the moment. If you'd like to ensure you can either check in early or check out late, we'd suggest booking an extra night. In such cases, please reach out to Midway Vacations, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
HOW TO GET HERE:
From Honolulu Airport, it's about a 20-minute ride – Prices are around $45 depending on traffic. Follow the signs to the taxi area upon arrival.
CHECKOUT CLEANING:
The cleaning fee includes professional cleaning with sanitization of the unit; professional laundry of linens and towels with high temperature (180F) and restocking of amenities after each departure.
There will be an extra charge if excessive cleaning is necessary. Thank you for your understanding.
STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide a welcome starter supply kit stocked with - one pack of coffee grounds, coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towel, tissue, can liners, salt & pepper, spray oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap.
Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival.
LINENS & TOWELS:
We provide one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. The bed is equipped with a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and a blanket.
LAUNDRY ROOMS:
There is a laundry room on the 6th floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. A single pack of laundry detergent is provided in your starter supply kit.
TRASH ROOM:
Trash rooms are located at the end of each floor.
3O NIGHTS OR MORE STAY:
Experience even greater savings! Reach out to us when planning a stay of 30 nights or more, and enjoy a 10% discount on your total room fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that reimburses for prepaid, non-refundable expenses that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances that could jeopardize your vacation investment and would otherwise incur unplanned expenses as well. Great stay! Dont let your parking pass expire, 35$ non refundable fee (penalty) even if you load up more time. So because i made the mistake of not putting all my days on the initial parking voucher I had to pay a penelty 35$ and add the extra day 40$ so 75$ to park that one day because i did the math wrong and paid for 7 days and not 8 initially. Asked the parking company for the 35$ penelty fee back they said no asked my host for my hotel stay ( which it isnt there responsibility) as a courtesy to give me a 35$ credit as a good will gesture they were not willing so it was frustrating. But accomadations are as described and all else was great .

First, the good stuff: Great view and great location! The lanai was wonderful and the views south to Diamond Head overlooking the city were spectacular! The location was perfect, just a couple blocks off the main streets and an easy walk with provided chairs and towels to Waikiki Beach. The not-so-good: the photos in the listing when we booked are certainly misleading. The unit is much older than it appeared in the photos, especially in relation to the bed and the linens. The toilet did not work properly. The plunger in the tank wouldn’t seal, so the toilet ran incessantly after being flushed. We resorted quickly to removing the tank cover after every flush and seating the plunger by hand. The tile floors were sticky, which probably is because of the type of cleaning solution used by the housekeeping staff. The pillows on the bed were really cheap and paper thin. One final thing: the listing accurately says that there is laundry for the building on the sixth floor. However, the greeting manual in the unit says there is laundry on each floor. Not true. The manual was clearly adapted from other properties. Just seems a bit lazy. The actual laundry room on the sixth floor is almost impossible for guests to use because all the washers and dryers are almost always being used by housekeeping for all the vacation rentals to wash towels and sheets. Not the fault of individual owners but certainly makes it really difficult for vacationers. We had a lovely time on Oahu but probably wound not choose this particular unit again.

I visited for a busy wedding weekend and found a quiet haven in this clean, modern, well-equipped studio with an incredible lanai. I loved the views in the early morning with a cup of coffee. Even though it’s right next to the elevator shaft, I barely heard it. And I never heard neighbors.
Again, it was super peaceful. I will come back!

Came to Oahu for our 20th anniversary.... The property we chose at the Island Colony Rm 3311 could not have been more perfect. We got an email about a week before our stay with all the information we would need for what turned out to be the easiest check in possible. The place was exactly as advertised with the most beautiful view of Diamond Head, Waikiki beach and the city of Waikiki. It had everything needed for a very convenient and comfortable stay. The central location to everything Waikiki was awesome. Nothing more than two blocks away including the beach! Would highly recommend.

It was the perfect place for what we needed. Walkable to everything we needed for our stay! A little issue with the security box being locked out but we decided we didn’t need it and not to stress about it. The building is secured. Unit is clean and exactly the size we needed. Midway realty was an awesome host. This place was perfect. It was exactly what we expected. Perfect for a couple to enjoy the nearby beach and shops. It was also the perfect spot for catching many of the tours transportation buses just a few minutes of walking distance away. Place was clean and had everything you needed. Wifi was really fast and stable. The views from the Lanai were amazing. Waking up to a sunrise everyday is a must. Would definitely recommend this place.

Studio has all the comforts of home with a picture perfect view. Studio is small but enough for 2 and lanai is big overlooking the canal, a golf course with Diamond Head as a backdrop on one side and the city view with ocean at a distance on the right. About three blocks from Waikiki beach surrounded by eateries and stores in the quite side of Waikiki. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly reocommend.

It was a good location, closed to restaurants and Waikiki beach. There was a big lanai and nice view, we could see Diamon head from the room. The dishes were really clean and there was some ice left in the ice tray. Some nights we could hear the elevator quite loud. Overall we enjoyed the stay, will come back again.
