The condo was clean and well appointed and gives a wonderful first impression. The bed was comfortable as was the living room furniture. The tvs were not working as most of the batteries were missing. This was immediately addressed the next day, but was annoying for the first night. The washing machine needs to be repaired as it is extremely loud. The fan in the bedroom makes a high pitch scream.... my husband looked outside to see if there was an alarm going off outside. And not sure if the bathroom fan was working at all.
The Resort is beautiful, but the location of the unit is in a busy area with people walking past and always looking in the window. The lanai had not been swept, nor had the patio table been wiped clean... we did this ourselves. We booked this condo to relax by ourselves after spending 12 nights with friends in the A building. It was disappointing that there were a few things going on in the unit. But it was very comfortable for at least one of the nights.

Papakea is a beautiful resort. The unit was very clean. The beach in front you can't really swim on it, but the resort grounds are well maintained, quiet, and peaceful. We had a small issue with the kitchen sink, but property management came and addressed the same day. I wish there was a few more towels (beach and shower) in the unit, but aside from that they had everything we needed. Overall, I highly recommend the resort and I would definitely come back.

This is a beautiful property. We loved our stay. The place is clean and spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was so nice to have laundry right in our suite. The host was generous enough to leave a few laundry pods and dishwasher pods. I wish they left a bit more shampoo and bodywash. The resort is beautiful. Very well maintained. There is a pool, hot tub, tennis and pickleball courts. To get to the swimmable beach, we drove about a quarter mile but always found parking. They provided a couple beach chairs and a beach mat. We loved sitting on the patio and having our meals.

It’s Maui, so many beaches here, pick one & go! Walkable location for food & easy walk to Wailers Village ( boardwalk) and Kahana ( sidewalk) … or if you prefer, there’s island bus stop out front.

Centrally located but windows were so thin I could hear people talking and walking past the bedroom window all night long. Kitchen was not kept clean there were sugar ants all over and helped themselves to my danishes. The dryer had so much sand inside I couldn’t comprehend how the cleaning team missed it. They also missed all the hair in the sink drain in the kitchen (gross, gross, gross). Other than that, the place did the job. The complex was beautiful and amenities were great.

The property is in a great location! Nice spot for families, and a more mature crowd. The unit itself is a little dated. We had a plumbing issue 3 days in, and took a couple of days to get it taken care of.. The owner came to our unit himself, and fixed the problem expeditiously, once he found out what was going on.

This is a nice condo but crowed because every space is full of pillows - no storage for suitcases, etc. one bedroom condo - 12 bed pillow, 13 decorative pillows. Can’t sit down without moving them. It’s what I will Rene about this unit!

We were only here for two nights and hated leaving. The grounds are awesome, with pools, hot tubs and two large gazebos. They have a putt putt course to spend some time on too. There's an ABC store in front of the property on the main road and a restaurant at Ka'anapali Shores next door. The condo was stocked and had everything we needed. Fairly spacious and comfy furniture and a cozy lanai next to the koi pond.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! The condo is great and was clean and tidy when we arrived. We enjoyed having coffee and breakfast in the lanai overlooking the ocean. The beach towels were dirty, the bath towels need replacing, the front right burner on the stove doesn’t work, but other than that this is a great place. The resort is amazing! Its beautiful and relaxing. There was no access to the beach from our resort during our stay so we had to cross to the Aston resort next door and access the beach through there. The resort is in a very central location to West Maui soit was easy to visit Whalers Village, Lahaina, Napili Bay and other popular areas.

Convenient unit for access. Property manager allowed an early check-in as we were in another unit nearby and this unit was empty. Unit tends to be a little noisy with the walkway 10 feet from the lanai, and you get the noise from not only your neighbors but the adjacent building as well. Bathroom fan seemed to be inoperative as well as the kitchen faucet leaked. But overall a good value. Could use a new mattress.

My family and I stayed here for three nights. We loved having a kitchen and washer/dryer. It was also close to the ocean, pool, shopping and restaurants. We had a great time and would definitely come back to stay!

Unfortunately we could only stay one night, and wished we could have stayed longer! It was a very clean and relaxing space. The AC was wonderful and the open sliding doors and the mirrors lining ALL of the walls and bedroom made it super spacious. The mattress is also so comfortable! Not that hard, hotel type mattress. You will get a good nights sleep. We would love to come back!
