立地、屋上プールやジャグジーが魅力的なずっと泊まってみたいと思っていたパシフィックモナーク、今回やっと泊まれました。利用しませんでしたが、屋上にはバーベキュー施設、玉投げ遊具、ラウンジにはビリヤードと大型テレビ等々、建物内で楽しめる物が沢山あり、しかもプールとジャグジーの利用可能時間が6時から22時まで良かったです。時間があればもっと利用したかったです。ロビーにはレモン水が置いてあり、出掛ける時、帰って来た時の水分補給が楽しく嬉しかったです。到着後、いつも混んでいますが、1階にあるいやすめでおにぎ0

以前に何度かカイナハレさんの物件を一人旅で利用していましたが、今回は82才の母と二人旅で、1ヶ月滞在でスローライフを満喫には十分な環境でした。部屋からの景色は、ダイヤモンドヘッドと海が少しずつ見え、虹も何度か見えました。また、来年、再来年、母とハワイ旅行します。

予約の変更とても丁寧に対応して頂きました。ホテルの立地は最高でビーチまですぐですし、ビーチで使えるいくつかのアイテムも部屋にあり便利でした。部屋の窓が広くオープンするため、ラナイがないのは全く気になりません。心地よい風が吹き、海が見え、部屋にいるだけで最高のリゾート体験ができました。24時間使えるランドリールームもホテルにあるため、長期滞在も不便なく過ごせます。次の旅行でも是非また利用したいと思います。素敵な滞在をサポートして下さりありがとうございました。

Was able to get refunded within two days after not staying at this property. Upon check-in, it was not as described in the pictures, among other things. I hope the property owner updates the suite and also their ad on Vrbo to accurately depict what it really looks like.

Great Location. View from room was excellent. Futon was broken, replaced with an air mattress. Had to be pumped up several times through the night. Roof top pool, hot tub, sauna and lounge with big screen Tv was very nice to use. We would stay here again!

Narrow ocean view from corner.
Small and simple lobby. Great impressive ocean and Mountain view at top open area, and pool.

The number one thing this property has going for itself is the location - 2 1/2 blocks from the beach and right near the international marketplace. The reason for my low review is multi faceted... First, the room I booked, is not the room I got. Second, when we got there, the futon/sofa sleeper was broke (obviously broke) so we ended up having to utilize an air mattress for our boys. Third, for 4 of us on a 10 day stay we were only given 4 towels for the duration - yes there is a laundry facility onsite, but I really did not want to spend my vacation doing laundry! There were extra towels and blankets in totes in the closet, but there was a note on them that stated we would be charged extra if any items were used. An extra towel and blanket would have been nice!! Fourth - the water to the building was shut off for 2 days during our stay for repairs. I understand repairs need to happen, however when you do a hike in the morning and have dinner plans at 4:30, it sure would be nice to be able to take a shower!! There were restroom facilities coordinated with an adjacent hotel, but that was it - nothing to be able to clean a sweaty body for dinner!! Maybe only having the water off for 4 hours at a time instead of the entire day would have been a better option... Next time I will pay the additional money to stay at a nicer hotel/resort...

Great location and very helpful front desk staff. Hot plate was nice but keep in mind this is more of a kitchenette than a full kitchen, plan for purchasing condiments if you are cooking in. We really loved this stay!

The AC smelled like dampness. I checked it and it was covered with black mold. I had to clean it out in order for it to be useable.
That couch in the background was non-existent when we visited. Instead there were two single seaters that convert to sleepers. Those sleepers were not flat, they were declined on the legs portion leaving my kids in pain when they woke up.
Parking is not provided here, I had to pay $30/daily to park inside the structure. Kinda ridiculous considering I spent over $1,500 on the lodgings for 8 days.
The view: you have to look to the right and lean out to see the ocean. Otherwise the majority of what you see is other buildings. This unit faces South East, so get ready to get baked by the sun every morning.
The bathroom door is just like you're walking into a saloon. uncovered from top and bottom with zero noise reduction lol
As with all rental sharing units, all of the provided household items are outdated, rusted or of very low quality. The fridge is weak and our stuff was barely cooled.
I guess the price wasn't so bad considering it was Hawaii then? You get what you pay for

In Waikiki, there towers and units by the dozen and you must be really careful about the quality of in-unit amenities, if that’s what you’re relying on. Property managers tend to ride on certain amenity words to beef up there units. This is an example of one of them. This is what sucks about rental booking sites like vrbo—you can’t easily switch rooms if you discover it’s much smaller than the photo makes it appear. Hotels are better in this case. -You get what you pay for and this was in the cheaper end @ $120-130/night. I would pay $80-85/night for this spot, no more. -Don’t be fooled or enthralled with the terrace and view. The terrace is not functional as a proper patio or terrace where you’d feel comfy sitting out at. It’s really narrow and the gust of wind can blow you away. Still, it’s better than just having a window.-Amenities claimed “sofa bed,” it was a generic futon and unfortunately one side of it was broken, so it wasn’t useable. Property management did rectify the issue by providing an air mattress, but at that time we were all already discouraged about the unit—our party had to break because of this. It wasn’t a full kitchen, it was a kitchenette at the entrance, good enough for 3 days but probably not more than that. Vrbo should make that distinction in their system so property managers can be clear about the kitchen quality. The other reason why I thought it was a kitchen apart from the fact that vRBo lists it as such is it said it has a stove. It was not a stove, it was a burner. Basically, this was about space for our group. -It says it sleeps 4. It would have slept 4 but the generic futon was broken and this unreliable. I would recommend 2 adults and 2 kids or 3 adults at the most. The unit should include square footage so it helps describe the place. You can’t rely on the photos. -We received minimal instru

Location is great. Much smaller than I thought. Balcony is very narrow. I had to ask for sheets for the futon which was not very comfortable.Towels were very thin and scratchy.We could have used a list of restaurants in the area.TV remotes didn’t work well plus directions would have been nice. The remotes probably just need batteries.

Contacting with the kainahale property was almost impossible, the apartment itself is ok, but worn out and some of the furniture is broken and the bathrooms cabinet almost Dropped down from the wall. We had to order a plumber because the pipes were clogged.Air conditioner was clogged too so we had to wash it. Instructions folder were incomplete, for example we didn't have any information about the washing machines at first. The vacuum cleaner smells bad and had never been cleaned - we leave it that way. We had to get all the cleaners and cloths ourselves to keep house clean. Neighbor was also burning weed, so we have to smell it all the time, manager couldn't do anything about it. Soundproofing is really lousy, all the sounds that the drunk and the junkies are shouting are heard inside. Otherwice staff was nice and location is good for beach and surfing

The place was as described. It had everything we needed and an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. It is not a five star hotel but for the price, it was perfect. The towels could be upgraded and carpet replaced but again for the price, I have no complaints
