Welcome to the beautiful Ka Milo 205, where we invite you to experience the warmth and aloha that truly embodies the spirit of the Hawaiian Islands! Our tropical villa is located within the gated, upscale community of Ka Milo and overlooks the 11th fairway of the Mauna Lani South Golf Course. This private, quiet community is located within the world-famous Mauna Lani Resort, on the west coast of Big Island of Hawaii.

Our luxurious villa is a fully-equipped 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom detached home with 2500 sq. ft of interior living space with an additional 530 sq. ft. of outdoor lanai space. In addition to the large main level living area and lanai, complete with outdoor kitchen & wolf grill, there is a 2nd living area on the lower level , that opens to a 2nd lanai and private back yard that includes a pool.

The main level features an open air layout comprised of the kitchen, living and dining rooms. The gourmet kitchen has wolf appliances and a huge granite island with a second sink and breakfast bar with seating for 3 people. The beautiful dining room table with 8 chairs easily accommodates family and friends. The adjoining living room is comfortably furnished and comes complete with a 55' flat screen HD TV and blue-ray DVD player for those evenings you entertain at home.

Our villa has an abundance of space to accommodate friends and family. There is one guest room with a queen bed located on the main floor which is convenient for guests who are not comfortable with stairs. A second guest room and master guest suite are located on the lower level. The second guest room is furnished with a king bed and has sliding patio doors out to a small private lanai. The master guest suite features a king bed, expansive master bathroom, walk-in closet and a separate entrance to the lower level lanai, pool, spa and private back yard. Each guest room has its own HD TV and the lower level living room, comfortably furnished with two full size couches and a desk, has a 55' HD TV.

Additional features to enhance your vacation are a full-size washer and dryer, central A/C, and WiFi throughout the home. There is plenty of beach gear for you to enjoy including 4 snorkel sets, six beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, 4 boogie boards, 3 bicycles, pool floats & noodles and two coolers for taking a picnic lunch to the beach. For guests with small children, we have a pack-n-play, portable high chair and umbrella handle stroller on site for your convenience.

As a guest of Ka Milo 205 you will have have access to the renowned Ka Milo Amenity Center located just up the street from our villa It is two acres of enjoyment, including a lap pool, a 2nd “lagoon-style” pool, 2 hot tubs, an air-conditioned fitness center, and covered pavilion picnic area. Our guests also receive access to the exclusive Mauna Lani Beach club. The club includes private parking, chaise lounge chairs, bathrooms, a small restaurant where guests can purchase food and drinks, and a surf hut where you can rent paddle boards and other equipment. The sheltered ocean cove is wonderful for snorkeling and paddle boarding.

Just a short walk south from Ka Milo, will find The Shops at Mauna Lani, an open-air mall that contains a well-stocked food market, art galleries, boutique shops, and several fine places to eat. A short walk north will lead you to the Fairmont Orchid Hotel, which has fine dining and a wonderful spa!

This is our fourth rental in this area over the years. This is by far the worst that we have ever stayed in. This property desperately needs some attention. We stayed here for three weeks. The knives look like someone had taken them and tried to cut a piece of metal. The pots and pans didn’t set flat on the stove top. The stove top only heats the front two burners well enough to be used. All of the chairs around the table and around the bar are old with no cushion left so you just fill the rim of the chair when you sit on them. The sofa and loveseat upstairs are horribly old and uncomfortable. All three of the mattresses need to be replaced they are terribly uncomfortable we even attempted to rotate the mattresses, but it’s obvious that they’ve been rotated before and they’re worn out. The bedding including sheets are mismatched and old. The swimming pool probably needed to be resurfaced years ago. All of the baseboards are dirty and to be honest, the whole thing needs to be painted. The televisions are almost impossible to figure out. They’re so old and need to be replaced with a master remote. The patio door upstairs is broken beyond repair and needs to be replaced. The tub and sink in the guest room down stairs were plugged when we arrived. Management and location was the only thing this home had going for it. Korby was extremely responsive and helped with getting the plumber, locksmith and exterminator out. He was instrumental in getting us new knives and pans.

We have stayed in Kamilo several times over the years. We love the location and setting. The pool at this home is lovely, view over golf course and distant ocean is beautiful and the site is very private. The property manager was very helpful when the freezer died. That being said. the furniture upstairs was very dated and uncomfortable and the kitchen very sparsely outfitted. Beds were comfortable but new pillows are a must!

I've been to Kona many times, and this is one of my favorite neighborhoods to stay in. This home is so beautiful with plenty of space, and full of amenities. The beds were very comfortable, and having so many bathrooms was fantastic. Whatever your plans are while visiting, you are in the perfect spot in this home. Grocery store right down the street, Tommy Bahama Restaurant (amazing!), beaches, plenty of places to go running and biking, endless things to do here!

We just returned from a week long stay at Ka Milo 205. What a great house. It he everything you need and more. Korby, the project manager was great to work with and very responsive. The house is in great shape and really provided a wonderful stay! We would definitely stay here again. One additional note, we did rent a golf cart and found it extremely beneficial to access the entire Mauna Lani resort vs always needing a car.

The property is amazing. Gorgeous sunsets watching the sun disappear into the ocean. Private pool and hot tub a huge plus. Access to private beach club and black sand beach had incredible snorkeling and swimming opportunities. Can’t say enough. Plan on returning and this is where we want to stay. Thank you!

We had a great time at Kamilo! It’s so close to many beautiful beaches, the Mauna Lani property is excellent, the beach club offers a nice beach for kids and adults. We cooked a ton at home, and had pretty much everything we needed. The pool at the property was so fun, we were in it everyday! Thank you for such an excellent vacation!

We had a magical time on the Big Island, and staying at this property made it all the more special. The home is spacious, clean, and well appointed. Having access to a beautiful pool and hot tub in the back yard was incredible, and it was lovely that the community lap pool/recreation pool/hot tub was just down the street to mix things up. The property manager for this property was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. The location of the home was perfect. Not too far from the airport/downtown Kailua-Kona and our favorite beaches. We would love to stay here again. Aloha and Mahalo!

House is in a great location with excellent sunset viewing and close to community center. It’s a good set up for a group especially with 3 bathrooms. The Mauna Lani beach club is perfect place to spend the day with excellent snorkeling and restaurant food was great. Only complaint is that hot tub never worked our entire stay. We reported it broken but was never fixed during our stay.

Stayed here for my Birthday with close friends. This home is located in a nice quiet neighborhood that is part of the islands nicest resort. All appliances were really nice and made the stay that much better. Pool was a nice temperature even in December and the jacuzzi was easy to work. All the beach items were amazing to have as well. Love all care and thought put into this place. I would definitely book again if they would have me!! Thank you for such a memorable birthday!

The property is in a wonderful area and had everything we needed. Plenty of space, amnesties we’re great and easy to navigate the area! The only thing that was a negative was the property wasn’t as clean upon arrival. The floors weren’t cleaned/vacuumed and it was dusty. Vacuum didn’t work very well. Otherwise was a wonderful place and would come back to this property next time!!

Great time at the House. Almost everything needed for a good time (recommend getting some BBQ utensils). Korby was easy to communicate with and responsive to our questions. Location was perfect, close to everything. Beach Club was nice a for a day, Recommend going to 49 black sands beach for a morning snorkels, Hapuna beach up the road was great for boogie boarding and body surfing waves. Having a pool at the house was great, the Jacuzzi never got hot but the community pool area had two to relax in. AC, Ice maker and blender all worked great! We would definitely rent this house again!

We stayed at this property for 11 nights and found the home to provide everything we needed for a great vacation. The private pool and property amenities were wonderful. Many of our evenings were spent on the second floor covered lanai enjoying our meals, beautiful view and island sounds. The property was as described and pictured. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upscale villa with all the beach toys you could want and three bikes to ride around the resort. Comfortable beds, nice linens, lovely bamboo flooring on main floor and master bedroom. Very clean and well taken care of. Private pool is a treat plus complex pools and fitness center are right across street and nicer than most resort hotels. Easy stroll walk to Fairmont or Shops for multiple options for dining. Beach Club with great snorkeling and restaurant short drive or 20 minute walk through resort grounds. Easy check in, professional and friendly rental agency.
