We were there for a week. Lots of rain which is very unusual however the location was close to everything we needed and close to the beach when the sun stuck its head out.
The unit was clean however a little dated. Nice view from the room with a small view of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay

We have stayed in Pacific Monarch several times now and can't beat the location! So close to the beach, shops and restaurants, as well as bus service just outside on Kuhio Ave. The room was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our stay, including beach chairs and umbrella. The rooftop pool is also amazing with incredible views!

We booked a somewhat last-minute trip to Honolulu and were delighted to have found this place. Everything was exactly as described. The beach chairs were a huge plus. We used the kitchen a lot and found it adequate for our week-long stay. Would recommend this place for it’s location all day long. A medical situation with my husband arose right before our trip and the people at the management company, Lei Hawai’i Realty Inc., were very accommodating, genuinely concerned, and couldn’t have been more understanding. Communication with them was fabulous. Thank you!

I love this property location, decorated perfectly but had holes in bathroom walls, WiFi wrong codes and cable didn’t work, did fix cable, had a loaded kitchen and beach chairs and umbrella a plus.. rooftop pool was green @first but after renovating deck was beautiful.. had a handiman list which should have been done b4 we checked in..

That location was probably the best part of the rental. It definitely needs some work. There were holes in the walls in the bathroom, the shower was tiny and kind of gross. The pillows were pretty uncomfortable and there was a pigeon living right outside of the air conditioning although it didn’t bother us too much . It was nice to be able to use the beach chairs that were in the closet, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The front desk was very helpful. We were glad that we were able to park in the parking lot. It was $30 a day.

The only issue we had was that the AC unit blew right into your face as you slept and the pidgins nested on top of it outside which cause a gross smell when they were there. We were able to scare them away for a few nights but they did come back.

Great view from the room. Location is perfect you’re about a block away from the beach which makes it super convenient. They provide beach chairs in the closet which you are able to take with you. As long as you keep everything maintained they will refund you your deposit which I think is awesome. At the end of the day if you’re going to Hawaii to venture out and you need a close and convenient place to stay, this would be the place. Thank you!

Our rental was very outdated, the chairs around the table were so wobbly we thought they were going to fall apart on us, and we were afraid to sit in them. The air conditioner did not cool the unit very well and we were hot most days in the unit. I don't think for the money I spent I would not stay here again. No place to park was disappointing also. We would have to walk 3 to 5 blocks a day just to find parking, our car was towed one day and cost us 170.00 cash only.

The apt is in a great location, very central and easy to walk to all the hotspots in Waikiki. The room was ok. Check in was a little stressful as we had to wait an additional half an hour to wait for our room keys. It was also quite difficult to reach the owners on the number they provided. The air conditioning system is extremely loud but with no ceiling fan we were forced to have it going while sleeping which made it very difficult to get to sleep. Sadly no salt and pepper even though it stated it did (not a big hassle though). There is a lack of disposal bins. And the Tv was from the early 2000’s. all in all it was an ok stay but there was a few things that could have made out stay more enjoyable. The good things about this apt are all the beach gear and the bed was quite comfortable.

Overall a pretty good stay although I had to clean the window air-conditioning units filter as it was completely covered in dust! And one night we were interrupted by someone at the door wanting access to spray pesticides! No thank you. And there was no usb outlets, would like to recommend a couple of bedside lights with some USB for guest would be nice. Place feels run down,patched holes in wall dirty floor boards, floor boards falling off. Just little things that could be better.

ビーチ、バス停、テイクアウトショップ、レストラン等の全てが近くにありとても便利でした。朝早くに目覚めて海を眺めながらコーヒーを飲むことも楽しめましたし、清掃が入らないので時間を気にせずに滞在することが出来ました。キングスビレッジ跡地の建設が遅れていたのが騒音、景観のためには良かったです。備品等の古さは否めませんが、価格を考えると納得できる範囲でした。

Fantastic view and cute condo! Definitely time and effort on decoration and little touches (indoor slippers to use!). There is some damage to walls/bottom of doors that will need tending to bring up the aesthetic but overall a great place to stay! The view alone from the double wide balcony doors is worth it :). One small thing - there was no complimentary coffee/tea (even a single use) which would have been greatly appreciated upon arrival. Would recommend and would stay again!

Had a great stay. Room was as described. Even had beach chairs and boogie boards. Balcony safety latch needs to be higher so kids can't reach and get out. The AC works well but is right in your face sleeping. No rental car needed, everything is within a few blocks. Easy to Uber, scooter or bike to further places.

This unit has great location and pool, with the actual room being slightly larger than it looks in pictures. However, a few issues to note: (1) there was no coffee and we did not have wifi when we checked in. Upon informing the host, the coffee issue was resolved but wifi was never resolved in our stay, despite following up with the host. We stayed this entire duration without wifi. (2) the unit has a small but nice balcony, but there are pidgeons all over it.

I had a pleasant stay at this property. Very good location(2 blocks from the beach), musubi cafe is located on the same building which is a plus! and walking distance to all shops and restaurants.
Minor issue I noticed are patched walls in bathroom (uneven paint) and one small hole in bathroom ceiling. it wasn’t a big deal for me but I figured others might care for that kind of stuff. Another thing is that the door is not self closing, we have to make sure the door closes all the way (there are few instances where we came back from the beach, and our door is not closed all the way) luckily, there werent any missing items from our room.
The bed is comfortable, there’s a large window/door to balcony where u could see partial view of the ocean, and there are beach chairs in the closet for the guest to use. the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Overall I recommend this place to others cuz of its prime location

The location was terrific, just behind the Hyatt and short walk to everything. The unit is as described although balcony is very narrow not allowing us to sit on it but you can open the patio doors. Kitchen small but adequate and they had beach chairs and umbrella in suite. Lots of towels was nice.
Pros: location, pool deck, bed comfortable, nice views and quiet.
Cons: While we were on a non-smoking floor, the smell of pot was strong for most of the stay. Although this is not the responsibility of owner, the property should monitor this. Also the tv remote did not work even when we put new batteries in. The owner said to leave it at front desk but we did not get a new remote for entire two week stay. Finally, we arrived and the property did not have our reservation, it was resolved within 20 minutes but not a good first impression.

The property is a short walk to the beach and walking distance to many restaurants and bars near the beach. Check-in was fine and we found the staff at Pacific Monarch to be friendly.
"Partial Ocean view" is accurate as the two large hotel towers which surround the advertised ocean view picture are not shown. The property was small but clean. The wood flooring is nice. Prior wall repairs are visible with mismatched paint and there is a wall hole near the ceiling in the bathroom. The A/C is noisy.
My complaint with the management company is the handling of the security deposit. The deposit wasn't disclosed or requested until after we had already made full payment for our stay. The security deposit refund wasn't issued until 14 days after checking out and I'm still waiting for it to hit my bank on day#17.
I would choose a different property on my next visit.

Because my flight was leaving at night I had requested an extra day and this was approved via email and I agreed to pay an extra day. On that last day I was notified abruptly that I had to leave at 10 as they had booked the property for someone else. My 11 year old grandson and I were out shopping. We ran back to find the cleaning personnel in our room. They said you have to leave now! We hurried and threw our belongings into bags and vacated the apartment in 5 minutes. The hotel refused to store our bags. I am sitting in the lobby with a kid and no place to go for 8 hours. I called Lei Hawaii Realty. The lady was very nice and offered to pay for an uber to bring out bags to the office. We did that but she did not pay for the UBER. I asked what she suggested I do with a 11 year old kid for 8 hours. She suggested shopping. We went shopping. Our phones went dead and we had no place to charge them. My grandson was tired. We went back to the realty office and sat there until it was time to take an UBER to the airport. The fee was 65 dollars. The lady at the realty office took 40 dollars out of her purse. That was all she had. The office people had nice smiles and meant well but that did not make up for the disturbing and exhausting and stressful last day. If I had known we were going to get booted out of the rental I would have looked for another place to stay for that final day. Then last night I got an email from them offering me a 40 dollar refund for my inconvenience.

Location was great. Parking garage was frustrating and didn’t work well. Front desk was understaffed and long wait times plus they seemed confused with every question. Whole experience was only worth about 20-30% of the cost. Last night was good quiet but it was very loud all the other nights so sleep was an issue with band playing outside.
