Great Family Vacation!
We stayed here for 2 weeks with 5 adults , 2 children and 1 infant.
The condo was clean and well stocked. The condo had boogie boards, beach chairs and even sand toys for the kids. Fantastic location for all..lagoons, pools and many great restaurants in walking distance.
Joan and Nicole were great to work with and very responsive to my many questions.

Everything was perfect except for one thing. Please get your dryer checked. Since towels will be used a lot while in Hawaii, it would be nice to use clean, warm towels. The dryer was not drying. We checked the settings, the lint filter and even just tried to dry one shirt. We had to hang towels dry instead and could not do any laundry that would need to be packed dry before going home. Overall, it was a great stay! Thanks!

This is my 4th time here at the Ko’Olina Beach Villas and it never fails me. This time we are in a 3-bedroom 3BR penthouse villa. Again, the place was very spacious for our group of 7. Watching the sunset from our lanai became part of our daily routine. If you’re just seeking R&R, you don’t have to go anywhere else. This place is “it.” Outside the villa, there are a lot of dining options. A lot of activities are also just several miles drive. Staff were very courteous and kept this place amicably clean! I’ll be coming back here again and again and again!!!

We loved staying in this condo. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. The gkids loved feeding the fish, playing in the pebble pool and on the beach. The towels and chairs (& beach toys) were much appreciated and used. The sound proofing of the unit was amazing! Our grandchildren never really adjusted to the time change and was up early every morning but we never really heard them unless our door was open. The beds were super comfortable and I am now looking to purchase similar pillows now that I am home. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the w/d as our clothes had to be placed on the lania to dry completely and the lighting on the master bath mirror is a little dark and made it difficult to use for shaving and makeup application. Oh, and the parking police! They were very annoying - leaving those ''tickets'' on our rental car if we didn't park PERFECTLY - a bit of one tire on the white line when there were no other cars assigned parking near us, telling us to be ''considerate'' of other guests. That was frustrating and unwelcome! But, overall it was a very nice resort with great amenities for our family.

5 of us shared this unit for a wedding at the Four Seasons. It was perfect! Lots of room. Beds, bathrooms. Provided an added airbed for an extra guest that we didn't need but had just in case. Pools and tiki bar great. Security wonderful. Appliances are top notch. I have no negatives, only positive things to say about this unit. Everything is walkable as well. Thanks so much Joan for all your help!

Our stay at the Penthouse was one of the best stays ever. The Penthouse and the resort was perfect! Gorgeous views from the lanae, cocktails while watching the beautiful sunset and coffee while watching the sunrise. The penthouse was super spacious and clean. Cooking and having dinner there was the best with the family. Bbqing down at the poolside by the bar was perfect! Joan and Nicole were great. My family and i would definitely rent this penthouse again. Thank you Joan

This is the fourth time my family and I have stayed in the KoOlina Villas. It’s so beautiful and spacious. We love the large kitchen, the comfortable furniture, the large master suite, and the two additional bedrooms and bathrooms. The multiple swimming pools are never crowded and we enjoy the bar and nightly music. Thank you so much to Joan, Ron, and Nicole for making sure that our stay was perfect.

Our family of 8 stayed a week recently with our 2 children under 3. The host was very accommodating with getting us high chairs and pack n plays for sleeping.
The location was absolutely stunning with nightly views of the sunset (minus the one building in front of you, which happens to be dead center on the sunset in the Spring). But still a beautiful golden hour with a great breeze that goes through from lanai to lanai. We swam every day in the multiple pools and in the cove. The cove directly in front of the property seemed to be the least occupied and was perfectly scenic and warm, slow water.
Plenty of small shops over across the street for some fast food and forgotten items. Our family will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you for everything!

We really had a great time and overall loved the property. We do have some suggestions to make future visitors have an even better experience.
The lights in 1/2 of the unit went off 3 or 4 times and needed to the breaker to be flipped in order to come back on.
Calcium build up around the faucets made it feel not clean.
Drains in the bathtubs were really slow. So we tried pulling out the drain and adjusting and the style of plug made it very hard to figure out.
Toaster needs to be replaced. The right side does not work properly.
We had really noisy nighttime neighbors starting Thursday, March 23rd

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Everything was as described in the listing and met our needs perfectly! We used large lanai with sectional and dining table multiple times per day and was perfect for our large family! The layout of the home was very family friendly and Joan accommodated our specific needs with small children so perfectly!! The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. Joan was easy to communicate with and the check in process was seamless. The grounds and amenities were well cared for and we could not have asked for more. Tge beach gear and coolers were so helpful!! We highly recommend staying here and we will absolutely be back!!

We loved everything about this Ko'Olina Beach Villa. Communication and check-in was a breeze. Friendly and wonderful service. The unit was gorgeous, clean and spacious. The pools were wonderful and the whole Beach Villas property is beautifully maintained. It was the perfect mix of hotel and condo amenities. The pool bar with live music was wonderful and we enjoyed walking the waterfront beach path each morning. The beach lagoon was the perfect spot to easily post of each day.

Joan was amazing to work with. The condo was beautiful. It was a penthouse with plenty of room and gorgeous views. Beautifully decorated. Wasn't on the top floor even though a penthouse. Only one other room on our floor which was fabulous. We only had one hiccup and that was meeting Nicole to show us the room. Check in was a breeze but we had to wait for our greeter for quite a while. No fault of Joan or Ko Olina. Would most definitely stay again. The lagoons were perfect for all of us to snorkle and relax around. The topping was seeing 2 Hawaiian monk seals sleeping one afternoon on the lagoon beach!!!

This penthouse has three good sized bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and all the extras that you could want or need. It has TWO stunning areas to sit outside. We had coffee in the morning and watched the ocean and pool. Joan was absolutely amazing.... she sent detailed info and was extremely helpful. We will stay here again!!

We have booked VRBO homes throughout the US and Europe. This is definitely one of the best homes we have stayed in. It was incredibly clean when we arrived and very well-appointed. There were plenty of seating options for dining "in" for our family of 7 and we appreciated the incredibly comfortable beds throughout (including the family room pull-out sofa). Furniture seems updated, especially on the east-facing lanai. We also appreciated the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and boogie boards available for us to use. The 2 lanais (one with incredible ocean/sunset views and the other with a view of Diamondhead and Waikiki in the distance) were such a luxury and the pools/grounds were beautiful. Walking through the property to get to the lagoon was such a treat. Paradise Cove luau was a 20-minute walk away and our new favorite restaurant, Monkeypod, in the Ko Olina shops just 10 minutes on foot. Exploring Oahu from Ko Olina was a breeze. Joan was a wonderful host from start to finish - easy check-in/out, and very responsive with our questions. We will stay here again when we're back in Oahu. Mahalo, Joan!

Unit is exactly as pictured. Well worth the cost. Check in was easy and was greeted by Nicole who oriented us to the amenities of the unit. The welcome packet given ahead of time was helpful. The place was spacious. Especially loved the 2 separate balcony/lanais! Loved that there was beach chairs to use, beach towels and washing machine & dryer in the unit. Will definitely stay again with family.

This is a great place to stay. It was clean and comfortable. We loved the lanais and opening up the doors to the fresh ocean air. Kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms were great. We spent a lot of time with the kids down at the pool and at the beach cove there. Great place to stay with our little family!

We enjoyed ourselves very much! Just a few suggestions! A decent set of pots and pans would be nice. With a party of 8 we never had a frying pan big enough and there was zero Teflon on any of them. Everything stuck! We had to just have patience with the appliances. It took forever for the washer to complete a cycle. And then would have to dry clothes 3 times before they were dry.

This was a vacation of a lifetime. My wife and I lived on Oahu for 5 years in the early 1970's and met each other and were married on Wiamanalo Beach at Sunrise during that time. So this vacation was to celebrate our return after 48 years and the 50 years we have known each other. Our kids wanted to come along as they have always wanted to see the places and things we did back then. We chose Ko Olina for our Honolulu side vacation and it was the perfect accommodation and location for our 6 day exploration and visiting of former addresses and favorite spots of old. Our unit was very comfortable and had everything we could ask for available. You won't be disappointed if you stay at Ko Olina.

The place was fantastic. Booking was a breeze. Nicole met us and got us settled and was super welcoming. This unit definitely stands out with the deck and lanai. It made for amazing times to have both sides open and a great breeze. The resort is very well run. The unit is clean and up to date with everything you need (from cooking to beach towels).
There are several places within walking distance but also every shop you need within 10 minutes (Costco, Grocery, restaurants)
Best summary I can give is that It will be at the top of our list whenever we are able to come back.

So happy we chose this for our vacation stay. The unit was clean, well kept and very spacious. We originally planned to book Aulani Resort next door but this was just what we needed. Ko’ Olina Beach Villas has a luxe vibe with plenty of privacy compared to Aulani. Will definitely be coming back again!

Our entire experience from booking our stay to arrival, stay and departure was perfectly smooth and enjoyable. The beach and lagoon were easy to walk to. Plenty of fish in the lagoon and my daughter even swam with a turtle in it. The location was perfect for moving around the island. I can't say enough about it. Excellent penthouse unit to rent, shaded front deck with great view of ocean and sunset. Open the doors to the deck and the opposite lanai on the back of the unit and the airflow is fabulous.
Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms/bedrooms. There is only one bar and no restaurants in Beach Villas but plenty of nearby restaurants. The Marriott Vacation Club and Four Seasons are within walking distance with great restaurants. The Beach Villas pool complex is excellent and its adjacent lagoon is beautiful with great snorkeling and not too crowded. Snorkeling via a trip from nearby Ko Olina Harbor is excellent. Highly recommended in total.

This is our 4th time staying at Ko Olina Beach Villas (our go to place when in Oahu). The check in process was easy and we were able to check in a little earlier than normal. Both our groups had flight delays getting to Hawaii and having the ability to check in early made it a better experience once we arrived.
Overall the entire unit was amazing. There were beach items for use such as chairs, ice chest, boogie boards, pool noodles, beach towels and now sand toys (we bought these and left them there). The freezer also had two blue ice packs that could be thrown into the ice chest to keep stuff cool.
The bedrooms were all great and comfortable. The only issue that wasn't really too big of a deal was the room with two twin beds did get warm even though the rest of the unit was nice and cool. There was a small fan available that did help move air around in that room. The bathrooms were great and a note for parents here the tubs are DEEP so if you have small kids and give baths be ready for a little back pain lol.
The outdoor patio that faced the pools and ocean was a great coffee spot to relax and enjoy the morning coffee. The other patio was awesome as this was a location we had lunch/dinner several nights as the weather was amazing.
Costco, Safeway and plenty of other shopping is located within 10 mins of this side of the island. There is also a Country Market (ABC store) just down the street that has tons of everyday items if you needed to grab something that was forgotten its worth checking here first.

We rented this penthouse unit for 10 days in December 2015 (spending Christmas here). There were 6 of us: my husband and me, our 2 children (15 year old girl, 12 year old boy) and my parents (69 years old). There was plenty of room for all of us. The lanai overlooking the pool was our favorite hangout spot for morning coffee and evening wine/beer. The Beach Villas is the best location on the Ko'Olina (dry side) of the island, in my opinion. The Marriott Resort to the south of Beach Villas is very crowded with people and the Disney Aulani resort (North of Beach Villas) is also crowded with people. So if you want a bit more privacy and quiet, the Beach Villas are wonderful. The lagoon is wonderful and safe (warm for swims in December for sure) and we brought our own snorkeling gear each day to see the fish and a random turtle. The only downside is that there is no real restaurant on site at the Beach Villas (for those of you who like that). But there are many restaurants to choose from across the street (e.g., Monkeypod = awesome), and restaurants at the Marriott and Disney resorts, too. The Beach Villas does have the Tiki bar but food offerings are minimal. The running/walking path around all the lagoons is fantastic: we walked every day. The golf course is right across the street and we played golf almost every day, too. It is an ideal location. We shopped at Foodland and the Natural Food Store about 5 minutes away. For people who want to escape the Honolulu traffic, Ko'Olina is ideal. Joan (property manager) and her husband Ron were very prompt and accommodating (when we had dryer functioning issues). No concerns at all from that standpoint. Would definitely rent here again.

Our family (6 adults) had a relaxing, wonderful week in July. The condo was exactly as advertised. We rented a van from the airport and had no problems finding Ko Olina and checking in. We were able to get in a little early, too. Great communication with Joan, before we arrived, and with Patrick, who showed us around the condo. The amenities are great. We ate in most nights and the local shopping areas were easy to find. We did go to the luau at Paradise Cove. It was very entertaining and the food was good, too. We would recommend Ko Olina to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable vacation. You can do as much or as little as you want, on Oahu, and the condo is a great place stay.

We are just back from a wonderful 10 day stay at the Ko' Olina Beach Villas. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 grandparents, lots of space for privacy yet the living spaces were roomy and well equipped. The unit had every item we could have thought of and then some.
The area is lovely with quiet beaches and lagoons to explore. Our kids spent equal amounts of time at the beach as well as in the kids' pool; don't believe comments that the family pool is too cold to swim in, my 7 and 9 year olds were in there for hours at a time! The snorkeling was great in our lagoon, lots to see and admire.
The communication from Joan from time of booking to our departure was excellent. My questions were quickly answered and the question we had about operating the TV was addressed within minutes. I have nothing but positive things to say about this location, resort, villa and owners.

We had a fantastic stay at Ko' Olina in this incredible 3 bedroom penthouse. Despite the threat of Hurricane Iselle and Julio looming, we had 8 luxurious and fantastic days in Oahu. I highly recommend the unit and the complex.
I offer these comments not to in any way take away from this amazing property but just in the interest of full disclosure. The two lanais are awesome and offer sweeping views.
It's important to note though that one of the lanais is on the same level as the mechanical equipment for the building. The view is quite nice and the mechanical equipment is not noisy but it's not so sightly. On the other hand, this lanai is very private so if you want to work on a topless tan you can especially in the early morning hours.
The second lanai is awesome but not private, so definitely no nude sunbathing!
We had a couple of issues during our stay--the cable didn't work for the first five days and the dryer was not getting hot. Joan and Ron were simply amazing. Responsive, helpful, and appropriately apologetic for the inconvenience.
The folks at Ko O'ina were also incredible. Blayne was exuberant and helpful at check-in. Marci, the bartender at the beach-side bar was awesome!!!!!!!
We loved dinner at Roys--best butter fish, and Monkey Pod (ate there twice). Also attended the luau at nearby Paradise Cove. We rented a car and drove around the island one early morning. Absolutely awesome, never to be forgotten experience at turtle beach in Laniakea. Then of course shaved ice at Matsumoto.
Last comment for the owners--we went to dinner one evening at the Marriot hotel. It was the only rainy evening and so rather than walk back we took a shuttle bus that runs between all of the hotels/condos in the Ko' Olina complex except for where we stayed. Fortunately we were able to convince the driver to drop us off. Seems like a worthwhile expenditure since the bus literally passes by to drop people at the condominium past ours.
Again, all of these comments are simply meant to offer more details about the property. We feel so fortunate to have been able to visit Oahu and our visit was made even better because we were able to stay in this awesome unit. Thank you!!!!!!!

Thanks for Renting This Condo To us. We brought our family with 4 kids along with Grandma and Granddad. 8 People in total for 2 weeks.
The complex suited all our needs. The kids loved the pools and access to the beach. Grandparents loved the views, the short distance to everything and the hot tubs. The parents loved the privacy of the bedrooms with their own bathrooms, the great kitchen and the two decks!. No one bothered us and we could come and go as we pleased.
We found the villa clean and bigger than it looks in the pictures. The complex is definitely not as busy as the neighboring hotels. The lagoon in front of the condo is peaceful compared to a couple of the other ones. The best snorkelling on the whole island (and we drove around) was the natural bay that is up past the Marriott and Disney(access through the parking lot where they have the luaus). We would stop for a refreshment at ABC store on the short walk back which was a good spot too for picking up odds and ends of groceries we needed.
We were worried about finding the place coming from the airport with a rental car but this was so much easier than driving into Honolulu or Waikiki ... almost straight from the airport on the H1 right to the development 25 minutes! Also the fact that Costco and some great restaurants are only 5 minutes away meant that we didn't have to drive into the big city... though we did! Diamondhead is only 50 minutes away and that is with traffic!!
We hadn't even left and Grandma wanted to book the spot to come back!
