"You Had me at Aloha" is a single-level, upper unit condo that has 2 master bedrooms each with their own bath. There is also a queen sleeper sofa. This home is perfect for families or two couples looking to share a home or families with kids.
The first master has access to the lanai and views of the ocean and King bed. The second master has a two TwinXL beds which can be combined as King with gel topper and views to the mountains. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and a pack and play and other infant items for little ones.
The living room and dining room open up to a covered wraparound lanai with grill. The large round dining room table will comfortably accommodate 6 people indoors and there is also table and chairs on the outside.
The lanai features lounge chairs and overlooks the 4th hole of the world famous Hapuna Beach Golf course (one of the best in Hawaii). The glass railings ensure you have the largest ocean and golf views possible.
The living room features a large UltraHD TV.
"You Had me at Aloha" is in a short walk from the Kumulani gated community recreation center and pool. This recreation center has a pool and grills to enjoy and views out to the ocean.
As nice as the gated community is the real treat with "You Had me at Aloha" is that it is part of the Mauna Kea Beach and Hapuna Beach resorts. This means you can opt into the program that allows you to use the hotel chairs and towel service at either beach or the hotel pools. Mauna Kea Beach is so popular that people not staying at the hotel will fight for one of the small handful of parking spots by arriving at the beach before 8am. When you stay at You Had me at Aloha and sign up for the resort program you do not need to worry about that. Enjoy your relaxing breakfast and go down to the uncrowded beach when you are ready.

A short drive away are the six of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Black Sand Beach, Private Beach 69, and of course two of the best beaches in Hawaii right on the resort; Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea beach.
The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven challenging courses all within seven miles of our villa.
Within 10 minutes drive is three high end shopping complexes, Queens Shops at Waikoloa, Kings Shops and the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings.

This condo has everything you need including incredible views of the sunsets!
My husband, 2 children (13y/o and 11y/o) and I spent a week enjoying everything this place has to offer. This condo is one of the best we have ever rented. They have Ebikes/helmets, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, coolers that made going to the beach so easy. Altough, there is not a bike path to the beach from the condo. You have to ride on the road which was a bit scary.
The kitchen was fully stocked with everything one would need. There are plenty of towels and supplies such as paper towels, dish detergent, toilet paper and laundry soap which makes it truly feel like home.
Also, I highly recommend the daily fee to use the Westin and Mauna Kae beach resort. They are both the most beautiful beaches on the island.
This place is magical and is perfect for families with kids!

We had a great stay at this property over Spring Break. The communication before our stay and the check in process were easy. Especially after a long day of travel, we were so grateful to arrive at the condo. We would love to book again - either this property or work with this management company again - the next time we visit Hawaii. We didn't want to leave!

This is a hard review to write. We loved the location of this property--it is beautiful, on a golf course with views of the water. The access to the Hapuna and Mauna Kea resorts is a wonderful benefit--well worth the daily resort fee. This unit had newer appliances, and furnishings. But, it has a severe roach infestation. We encountered 100+ roaches our second day. The property manager told us they had flown in through an open screen door. (We didn't leave the screen open and roaches don't fly in from outside.) They brought bait for the roaches, and we saw roaches every day after that. It was terrible. Very sad to leave this review, but we would hate to have another person spend that much money for a roach infested unit.

We loved the location of the home. It was easy access to both resorts. I highly recommend paying just a little bit more to get access to the two resorts.
They were awesome to communicate with and quickly responded to my questions.
The home was clean and we loved using the boogie boards and e-bikes.

KITCHEN WAS WELL STOCKED, LOCATION AND VIEW WERE NICE, AND COMFORTABLE BED. HOWEVER, THERE ARE 21 STEEP STEPS TO GET INTO THE UNIT, RAILINGS WERE VERY HOT DURING THE DAY, COULDN'T ACCESS THE BEACH CHAIRS BECAUSE THERE WERE 4 BIKES CHAINED TOGETHER IN FRONT OF THE STORAGE AREA, ONE OF ONE OFTHE VERTICAL BLIND IN THE LIVING ROOM IS BROKEN, UNDER COUNTER LIGHT WERE MISSING BULBS, DRYER VENT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED, SAME WITH VACCUM CLEANER, NO CHANNEL LISTING WAS PROVIDED, NO INSTRCTIONS ON HOW TO USE ONE OF THE REMOTES, THERE WERE ANTS IN THE FRONT BEDROOM, WE WERE GIVEN THE WRONG GATE CODE, AND THE LAINAI FANS DID NOT WORK. SOME ONE FROM THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY SHOULD INSPECT EACH PROPERTY BEFORE IT IS RELASED FOR RENT. INSPITE OF THESE DEFICIENCIES, WE ENJOYED OUT STAY. WE'VE USED VRBO IN THE PAST AND HAVE NEVER HAD A LESS THAN SATISFACTORY EXPERIENCE.

This property really comes as described. It's an extremely well-maintained condo with everything you need for a terrific vacation. The kitchen is stocked with the small things you don't want to buy and everything is very clean and organized. The best thing is the location. Minutes from two spectacular beaches, the property is also a great base for exploring the Kohala Coast and numerous attractions. The e-bikes that come with the house are fun and if you opt-in to the Mauna Kea amenities, an extra cost but well-worth it, you can snorkle and wake-board as much as you want as part of the package. We can recommend this spot with absolutely no reserveations whatsoever.

Communication was great with quick responses prior to check in. Check in was easy. Loved having the garage right next to the unit. Unit faces west, so fantastic sunsets and views. Having e-bikes available was fun to ride around the property. We used both resorts and like them in different ways. Good variety. Would definitely rent again.

We had a great time at “You Had Me at Aloha”. The condo was large, nicely decorated, well stocked and had a wonderful view! We loved using the ebikes to pop down to the beaches and resorts and then pop back to the condo for home cooked meals (when we wanted to). Communication with the management was easy as was checkin/out. We highly recommend this rental!

My wife and I stayed here for our vacation and utilized the resident access to both Mauna Kea resorts. I highly recommend leveraging that option. The condo itself is fantastic, the views are awesome, and everything inside is well maintained (brand new). There were virtually no neighbors present while we were there and the entire property felt private and clean.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the devices and stuff you would need to make meals at home, which is a bonus if you don't want to be stuck having 3 meals a day at the hotel. The only device we missed having is a Keurig coffee machine, but we got ground Kona coffee for the drip coffee maker instead.
There is a community pool for lap swimming and a Jacuzzi, that we never saw any other residents accessing while we were there. That being said, the low cost of accessing the hotel beaches and pools is well worth the cost.
This is a fantastic location and we will definitely be returning on our next visit.
