2nd time we rented this unit. we enjoy the Ilikai and the location of the condo as well as this unit and its view. with that being said, we were just a bit disappointed to find the same noisy box fan with the broken switch still there and a a piece of cardboard placed where there should have been a glass panel going out to the patio. neither was a deal breaker but owner needs to spend a few bucks to upgrade the experience.

This property was exactly as advertised! It is very comfortable with a lovely lanai. We were not looking to be deep in Honolulu, so the location more on the north side of Waikiki was perfect for us. All aspects of the unit worked as expected. The rental company made communication options clear. Everything was so straightforward that there was no need to reach out. The property was clean and very safe. We really enjoyed our stay.
I would advise that anyone that really wants a major pool scene, this may not be your hotel. The pool is very nice and comfortable, but it more of a condo style pool as opposed to a pool where you get drinks and party. This was 100% OK with us, but just a thought for other renters.

The condo was exactly as described. Great views from the balcony, especially in the early morning, watching ships arrive and leave Honolulu and Pearl Harbors, surfers off Waikiki. Stores in the lobby and nearby plus Ala Moana Mall cover everything you will need.
Negative is that the Oahu / Hawaiian governments have opted to concentrate all tourists on Waikiki. It's a crowded section of city, with expensive parking, heavy traffic, and expensive stores. The beach near Ilikai is heavily used by the Hilton Hawaiian Village, with coarse sand and a rocky bottom unsuitable for bare feet. The Fort DeRussy Beach is a little nicer, but still has a bottom unsuitable for bare feet in most places. Getting into and out of Waikiki involves a maze of one-way streets, with no easy access to H1.
Depending on which side of the building you are on, you may need to close the blinds in the afternoon to keep the unit cool. Rooms overlooking the courtyard get a lot of noise from the courtyard, and pigeons come to visit and provide wakeup calls in the morning. Highly recommended if you like cities, otherwise avoid Oahu, or limit your time on Oahu to a day or two to see the historic sites.

The location was beautiful! The vrbo was so clean and much better then I was expecting, I’ll be coming back next time we are in hawaii.
It was perfect for my husband and I but my son and father in law stayed one night and we used the pull out couch and it worked out perfect. The only thing that didn’t work was the tv, but honestly I wasn’t too concern because we didn’t spend in enough time in the room to watch tv.

My wife and I rented this condo from Feb 10th to 17th.condo was smaller than we thought and is in need of a deep cleaning. Scuff marks on walls and dirt in corners and behind furniture. Shower had decent pressure and hot water. Bed was comfy. Pillows were not. When we arrived the cover for the fan in the bathroom was on the patio yable outside on a garbage bag as it was recently painted. There was no duvet in the duvet cover on the bed. I called to inform them and they brought a extra blanket and maintenance came and put the new cover on the fan. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We enjoyed the view very much. Great sunsets. Would recommend this condo.

From check in to check out a easy experience. This definitely a single person or a couple only rental. Reason being is there no separation from the bedroom. So if you want to have your morning coffee and enjoy that SPECTACULAR view the sound will wake others up. We have stayed at the Ilikia many times, this was the first time with view of the marina. The Sunsets are amazing but you don’t see the fireworks on Friday but you get that sunset every evening enjoying dinner on the lanai. Plenty of appliance and kitchen utensils. Lots of good quality towels in the bathroom. A couple of very minor things when we arrived, a broken upside ironing board on the lanai and beach chairs were a little less than desirable. Sliding closet doors where off the track and seemed broke,like I said very minor. Last thing is that the ductless A/C unit could use a good cleaning. Everything is in a easy walking distance or bus stop foot steps away. Safe comfortable location to enjoy.

Lots of good food spots within walking distance. Beach is also super close. Price range was fair. Good balcony view. Comfortable condo and clean. Had everything we needed.
Valet is required. There is another option to self-park in a nearby (separate) parking garage for $30 per day. We ended up just doing valet for $35 per day (not including tips).

everything as described. couldn't have been better. we have stayed at Ilikai several times and would most certainly return to this unit. one minor issue was sliding bedroom closet doors were sticking pretty bad but that certainly was no big deal in the grand scheme of things.

This unit was the perfect start to our honeymoon! It was clean, looked like the pictures in the listing and had a great view. It looked over the Ilikai Hotel courtyard & pool as well as a boat harbor. We saw a beautiful sunset every night and enjoyed lots of time on our balcony. The unit is located in walking distance to the Hilton lagoon, beaches, food and shopping! We would gladly stay here again!

My husband and I stayed at the Ilikai 11th floor condo for 3 nights. We were in town to visit Pearl Harbor. Check in and communication with the property manager was great. The condo is in a good location with restaurants and shops within walking distance. We were able to walk to the beach easily. The condo itself has been remodeled and is tastefully decorated. I feel it could use a deep clean but overall in good shape. Views of the marina and ocean were lovely.

Property could use some updating. Bed and pillows are really hard. No parking on site so be prepared for a challenging search for affordable parking. LOTS of homeless and loud traffic so be OK with that.

It was a great location and view. Walking distance to everything downtown. It was smaller than the picture portrayed but worked perfect for my daughter and I. The only down side was the refrigerator was not working so they added a very small one to use. Just inconvenient but overall a great place to stay.

We enjoyed the unit. Great view, close to the elevator, near the laundry room, and trash disposal was just a few steps away. Our only concern was the condition of the shower and the floor area in the bathroom. There is some noticeable rust, the baseboards need to be repainted, and the floor was a bit dirty. Other than that, we really enjoyed it. The kitchen was great!

This is our second time staying at this condo! We loved it the first time and loved it now. You walk into the kitchen area with updated appliances and full size refrigerator. The cabinets were a beautiful dark wood that complimented the lovely granite countertops. The granite countertops of white/gray with swirls of delicate blue green throughout were in the kitchen and bathroom. I wish I had it in my home. The turquoise plates and cups were beautiful to use. Everything you could need was in the kitchen and the black with copper accents on the cooking utencils was quite the touch. There are 3 very comfortable high chairs at the bar eating area. The turquoise queen size couch/sleeper was very comfortable. The king size comfy bed had accent pillows of a turquoise print that complimented the ones on the couch to pull the whole look together. The footstools, furniture and TV were great. The floors a beautiful hardwood. The lanai was comfortable with a table, chairs and a comfy love seat with glass tables to put your drinks. The VIEW IS AMAZING! You look out to the Pacific ocean of blues/greens and blue skies. You see the marina with palm trees all over. You see rainbows that take your breath away. You also see Ala Moana Bay Beach. Nothing blocks your view. Its quiet, relaxing and beautiful. The people we worked with reserving this lovely condo were great to work with at anytime. The location is outstanding. You are a 5 minute walk from Waikiki Beach and 7 mins from Ala Moana Bay Beach. You have souvenir shops, grocery shops, clothing, shops with all you need within walking distance. You can catch any bus to anywhere rght outside the Ilikai. the shops that are a part of the Ilikai are great. You will love eating at Cinnamons (part of the Ilikai) and we suggest the pancakes for breakfast (yum), coffee shops, clothing, ice cream (rated number 1) and a shop for everything you might need. We loved staying here and hope to stay again.

The condo was just as it was advertised and more. You will not be disappointed! Amazing view, very comfortable mattress, comfortable couch, everything you would need in the kitchen down to the tropical lovely ceramic dinnerware and plenty of towels and beach towels. We would sit on the lanai in the early morning eating our breakfast and evening enjoying the amazing relaxing view. Great location as well. Close to Wakakiki Beach , short walk around the lagoon and Ala Moana Beach (5-7 min walk.) Both wonderful beaches. Lots of wonderful places to eat within walking distance. You can catch any bus to anywhere out side the hotel. You won’t regret staying here. We have stayed 4 times and WILL stay again.

We had a pretty great view with the marina and the ocean behind the marina. It was close to a few areas where we could walk to, like restaurants and gift shops and the mall. It was just a few steps down to the beach, and easily accessible to the marina for water activities. We really enjoyed our stay here!

The condo was so comfortable and clean. Amazing kitchen (even though we didn't put it to good use). View fantastic with gorgeous sunsets. I, unfortunately, had bad timing with a sore knee during our trip so definitely appreciated the fact that I could go downstairs to pick up whatever I needed from the store, little shop, library, and of course Cinnamons for breakfast! Also the pool was uncrowded (at least during our stay). Husband ventured to the beach which was a short walk. Valet very efficient. Cute little settee on the balcony where I did some reading:)

I was impressed with the property especially its cleanliness and feeling of being secure despite the open lobby. The staff were helpful, friendly and personable. Since my visit was digital key access I had no interaction with front desk. The retail space was diverse. The only complaint I might have had was the position of the yellow dumpster across from the pool area...which was an eyesore of trash accumulated over the weekend. Marina/beach access was well managed...except for the trash piled up at the entrance to the lagoon between hotel and Hilton village..stuffed in the gate of the fence.

The bed was hard but not too hard enough to not sleep. It was ok for the 4 nights we stayed. The unit itself was great. It had everything we needed. The bathroom walls were very dirty and baseboards. They need washing asap. But everything else was pretty clean. I would stay here again. The views were amazing. Can't beat those sunsets.

Clean room, amazing views from the balcony, flawless booking, checkin, communications with the owners. We enjoyed eating our breakfast and dinner on the balcony. Full south to southwest view of the ocean and sunsets. A bit noisy as this is right in the downtown so unfortunately we could not keep balcony doors open for the nigh to let the fresh air in (but with closed doors it is very quiet inside). Parking is a bit of a hassle - but we could find free parking right in front of the building, on the ocean side (though that may change soon).

I really enjoyed the condo. The view was beautiful. The location is perfect. The two pools are wonderful. The condo was very clean, which is important to me. The only thing I have an issue with is the mattress. It is extremely hard. I took a nap right after we got there and I woke up literally aching. I had to go buy a gel mattress pad (there was no pad at all...just a sheet on the mattress) so that I could survive sleeping on it. I figured that was a small price to pay for comfort as I was there for a week. I hope they leave it there so others can be comfortable also. Other than that, I had everything that I needed and enjoyed my stay.
